That was really great, but I dont think anything new is coming under that name. But similar projects may still be relased in the future. The main vocalist on Slamer is Terry Brock and he has new Cd relasing next month, but it seems no Slamer is involved. First Single: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JOnLZiousE Important contributor on that was Billy Greer from Kansas and Kansas ha

is here: http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/tesla-releases-video-for-new-song-save-that-goodness-featuring-def-leppard-phil-collen/ Song is known for few weeks , also the video is nice, especially knowing that the band produced and recorded it by themselves.

After first one or two listens its just OK, no immediate hook, need more listens. Simplicity is often critisized, but to my ears even year after release it is high quality relaease, the rockers may be lacking punch of once but hte melodic and acoustic songs are right there with their best, nice hooks and melodies that havent lots anything after many listens.

Terrible thing. Regarding the cultural problems, I read an interview with young guy who travelled years around the world. As one of the important things he learned on the travel he said "you dont need money to be happy". He saw this mostly in Asia and Aftoica, lots of poor people but all smiles. But he mentioned when meeting poor people in USA, there were no smiles and hope.

adolpho, thanks for the update and your the marks after first listen. Is it usually one listen enough for you to make opinion about album ? Or your rating changes after several more listens ? In my case it depends on the type of music. The immediate songs that grab you after first listen often with time loose some appeal. And the slow growers are sometime better with more listens.

Wow, there were kind of mixed comment in advance about this. Also the 4 pre released songs were OK, but when you hear the whole thing, it is hard to choose 4 favorites. I like how the second half has same quality as first one ( I think COup de Grace was uneven in that regard). It desnt bother me at all that the verses are a bit more modern sounding. It is really kind of "dont bother , get to

Very "commercial" chorus, good vocals, prominent talkbox, probabyl less funky as they were in the 80s . I hope more similar style is on the CD.

Song is nice, catchy. I heard many Harem albums but isnt Harry on this track unusually raspy, in a way like its not well recorded ?

Well albums are on streaming services like deezer, first run through defiants and Treat..first impression Treat is better, just better songwriting ( although I prefer Laine's vocals)

Not very familiar with Babymetal but it seems to be metal music and strange pop vocals on top. There is a Serbian band doing similar thing for years..hard rock riffs and on top singer singing in Serbian folk style. And even in videos you can see they are not taking thenmselves very serious.Too bad most of you cant undersand the lyrics, they have funny and satiric look on real life. https://ww

@kristink most of recent Frontiers releases have 4 audio tracks released before CD is out, so there will probably be more.

listening to tracks like that make you wish to have access to your favorite album, but in a multitrack way, so you can isolate every track yourself. is anything like that available, probably problems are with license, as then everybody could mix their own version at home.

Andrew, great news that the rest of the album is even better. Paul LAine s voice is still good as it was. Danger Danger with Laine was probably the first band I discovered when I started visiting melodicrock.com

Was never following them until 2 years ago. I like more recet output, because of stronger guitar sound, better production values, Bobs different voice. Am still discovering their 80s albums, like some songs but it is not instan. Favorite songs from latest albums ? HArd to choose.maybe these: All the dreamers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uehf5lDFZeQ Freedom day(live version) https://www

There are many free or trial sofwares for this. I used this one, its very short, instantly installs. http://www.dvdae.com/ download, install and run. Then select output format , desired tracks (3,4,5). But be careful on the STEP 3 of 4 and Uncheck box before this : Save chapters into individual files.

not overwhelmed, but I think it will be a grower, too soon for review. But sometimes this amazing voice gets annoyingly high. But I think the classic rock style is not known for immediate hooks.

not impressed but he is wise to choose song in more accoustiuc style that suits his voice. I think also Coverdale hinted in interviews about no longer doing big rock records.

thanks for very in depth review. I understand that the marks are your own and you didnt like Toto much , but in general current Toto lineup is said by many in the know to be one of the best live bands at the moment and its a bit funny that so many small bands got higher mark than Toto. Good that it was an enjoyable event.
