Stagefright, few weeks ago I saw a notice on they Facebook from Bryan Wheat that after summer touring in the US they will work or even release new record. I think it is very likely that on new tour in 2014 they will promote new record. I also saw very honest interview with former Tesla member Tommy Skeoch. http://www.classicrockrevisited.com/show_interview.php?id=938

but in general there are very little leppard songs used on compilations and movies. Few days ago i read somewhere as someone from the band said that they are lucky because their original contract gives the band the veto right for every such usage of their material.

After listening to 3 samples of new Covered Call with G.Edman on the main page, I am quite excited. Edman is part of several bands and projects, but they seem to be more in the Metal or progressive direction. So it is great to hear him now in a more straightforward hard rock and melodic rock with good choruses. It will be hard to come near the fantastic Kharma band, but still seem to be great r

By chance I came across this new project from one of the best female Hard rock voicess. After singing other styles, Sass Jordan is finally back to Hard rock, together with Brian Tichy on Guitar! this time. Some songs can be heard here and to me they sound great: http://www.reverbnation.com/sunsomethinguntonothing http://www.somethinguntonothing.com/

Just read that Tesla's singer Jeff Keith has released an new EP of songs in country style. While I almost never listen to country, after listening to preview of the songs and I liked them a lot. It is a chance for Jeff to showcase his pure voice, without the rasp he uses in rock songs. And the songs are nice, there is finally chance to hear the song "Oklahoma bound" about his mum and ch

Never was a big fan of 70s Heart, but big fan of Brigade album and their 80 ballads. I liked samples and first song so I gave it a chance and I found it great. This is not get to the chorus music( and I like sweet choruses usually)..no this are complete, quality songs. And I really hear a band still trying to develop, to write something new, not just rewriting their biggest hits as for exapmle ba

Just a correction on the setlist about covers: 14. Who Says You Can't Go Home/Wild night(Van Morrison cover) 16. Golden Slumbers/Carry The Weight/The End (Beatles cover) And I just read he performed the Answer at next show in Berlin, probably his best solo song!!

It is a rare occasion to see Richi Sambora play solo show. He had a tour in 91, then in 98. Who knows when will be next one ? So it made no problem I to drive 7 hours in one direction to see that gig. The location is a special one, Circus Korne. It round. although for the show only half of circle was for seating, but most of seats are very near to the stage. Richie played a lot of songs from l

Only missing from this disscussion are some big fans of "Eurovision contest cheesy AOR" (I am not one but I know that Eurovision itselfs has many many fans) who would be upset how their type of music is talked about as less worthy :==))))

still not enough listens but most of the songs show at least that much promise that I will take more time to get to knw them better. I did a quick google search for reviews and the opinions there are overwhelming yes and one of the best Europe albums, Looks like MR readers prefer AOR ,good chorus style. Me too, but I will listen more.

I read a recent interview with Vivian where he touched on this topic and he mentioned that they are limited with how much technology can help Rick and thus they can not just all go in a room and jam freely and that also affects what kind of songs they write ..to a certain degree they have to adopt songs to his drumming.
