Jamie Rowe interview quote: "We are no longer affiliated with Kivel but there is definite plans to record a new record in 2017! I treat AdrianGale as a personal project and not a hired gun situation. I think the ‘Crunch‘ album is one of the best things I’ve recorded in my career. I love ‘Defiance‘ too!" https://melodicmusicreviews.wordpress.com/2017/01/01/interview-with-j

On planetrock at 8am today they premiered their first single "Rip it up" at 8.10 am but I missed it. It is possible to replay the whole show but for now it looks like it doesnt allow fast forward so its 2 hour wait for 1 song.

Also to me this sounded just fine. I think lots of complains are about the setlist, and that seems to be pretty constant on this tour and includes only one Richie solo song, and several Jovi covers and other covers. That is apitty. When I saw him 2 years ago he played most of his recent solo album and then some covers..

I remember it well, first music I bought in a music shop was a cassete - Bon Jovi - Slippery when wet. I dont like the albums they are recording post 2000, too much self copying, some good songs on albums, but because of that first one they wil always have special position. The second one was Hysteria by Def Leppard on LP, and I didnt even have a record player!

This Slovenian choir Perpetuum Jazzile had millions of views of their version of Africa and is now touring world on their own. When TOTO visited SLovenia in 2015 the choir joined them for Africa: Nice audience video captures the stage light perfectly..in front the whole Toto choir in vivid colors, in background whole choir in monocholor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xut9rhgWTgY

Now I seen the widespread comments how bad the Melbourne concert was. Probably one of the reasons was also setlist, only one Sambora solo song, othe ronly covers ? In Munich 2012 he played most of solo stuff and around 4000 crowd loved it. I found there is whole concert on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toLSEptcn34

Of course you can. I saw him 2 years aga live and it was great show, and he didnt sound much different. He is no more spring chicken. But to me this is not something so bad as described in opening of this thread.

That was really great, but I dont think anything new is coming under that name. But similar projects may still be relased in the future. The main vocalist on Slamer is Terry Brock and he has new Cd relasing next month, but it seems no Slamer is involved. First Single: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JOnLZiousE Important contributor on that was Billy Greer from Kansas and Kansas ha

After first one or two listens its just OK, no immediate hook, need more listens. Simplicity is often critisized, but to my ears even year after release it is high quality relaease, the rockers may be lacking punch of once but hte melodic and acoustic songs are right there with their best, nice hooks and melodies that havent lots anything after many listens.

Terrible thing. Regarding the cultural problems, I read an interview with young guy who travelled years around the world. As one of the important things he learned on the travel he said "you dont need money to be happy". He saw this mostly in Asia and Aftoica, lots of poor people but all smiles. But he mentioned when meeting poor people in USA, there were no smiles and hope.

adolpho, thanks for the update and your the marks after first listen. Is it usually one listen enough for you to make opinion about album ? Or your rating changes after several more listens ? In my case it depends on the type of music. The immediate songs that grab you after first listen often with time loose some appeal. And the slow growers are sometime better with more listens.

Wow, there were kind of mixed comment in advance about this. Also the 4 pre released songs were OK, but when you hear the whole thing, it is hard to choose 4 favorites. I like how the second half has same quality as first one ( I think COup de Grace was uneven in that regard). It desnt bother me at all that the verses are a bit more modern sounding. It is really kind of "dont bother , get to

Very "commercial" chorus, good vocals, prominent talkbox, probabyl less funky as they were in the 80s . I hope more similar style is on the CD.
