mmmmm, difficult one. Pre-gig = awesome - great to catch up with Chris & Russ. FM did what FM do, and have done for 30 years - top of the Championship but not quite good enough for the Premiership , heard it all before, a million times. Europe = the only band for me that have "understood" the changing musical Kaleidoscope of recent years - I loved them back in the day but prefer t

I must have missed this , is someone standing in for him ?? not Doug Aldrich again is it. Strangely I wsa wondering earlier today who was behind the drum kit these days ( Schulman ?? ) but never thought Mick might not be there, Would love NOT to hear Starrider but need Mick there to give this line-up credibility.

certainly not "over the top and bombastic" , I'm liking Totobobs Zimmer , Oldfield comparisons, it has that classic/atmospheric ambience ( certainly better than his football tastes ) ,.....

Not together... Interesting to see Ticket Scotland advertising a Glasgow date for Dragonforce on 19th September 2014. and, anybody know what is happening with Primal Fear UK tour ? tickets still being advertised but all agents advising "been withheld" without seeming to know what's happening.

Interesting - is this a proper DRN tour ? Dan Reed Band playing Glasgow in May, wonder if that's an acoustic thing. Confused.

Shout out to both bands for a great gig last night in Glasgow. Well impressed with Paul Mackie upfront for Pallas, good to see Euan Lowson again but would prefer full stage time for Paul. Wish them well with the fundraising campaign for new CD. First time I've seen CoE , well impressed, check them out below if not familiar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxJzmKD4cXg

Good to hear , I'm looking fwd to seeing them next week in Edinburgh. The BSR cd took a while to grow on me but got there eventually ( think RW is just a bit too "respectful" at times ie plain copying Phil ). But the addition of the DDs made it a no brainer - really loving that CD. Should be a great night.

http://www.seaoftranquility.org/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=15406 not sure we need "another" post re this Cd , but I guess if we understand that the reality is so far adrift from what we hoped for, and expected, then we can move on. Above review clarifys all - unfortunately. I take no great pleasure in saying it, after all Boston were genuinely part of the soundtrack we all
