Auditions going very well, but band taking time to get the right person. I don't think we'll see an announcement for a while but it's all going well in the Curse camp :-)

I'm hoping Eden's Curse make it onto the bill, with writing for album 4 going well I think they would make a great addition. For the first time, I've decided to support this festival by sponsoring a band to mark my 4th Firefest attendance. Not sure who I'll end up being allocated, but if EC do get on the bill I'll have my fingers crossed that I end up with them :-)

They were the first live band I ever saw and I remember them being awesome. They have come back to life on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/garrisonfife?fref=ts, you can even get new T-shirts and to quote one of the recent status updates "practices are planned and gigs will be forthcoming". Looks like things are finally gathering pace....

For me: (1) Work of Art (2) FarCry (3) Brighton Rock (4) Lionville) (5) Gotthard Although, also enjoyed the sets from Tyketto and Danger Danger. It was a wonderful weekend, meeting friends old and new and enjoying some immense rock music. See you next year ;-)

Personally speaking, I'm disappointed that things didn't work out with Marco as I found him to be a lovely guy, and his voice was superb. I met him at both PPM Fest and Dokk'em earlier this year. That said, the nucleus of the band and the immense songwriting talents remain so I consider this a temporary hitch...... the Curse will continue to go on and I'm excited to see what the next chapter

Having been at the Dokk'em festival in Holland last weekend, and fortunate enough to spend some time with the band backstage, I can honestly say that the spirit in the camp is fantastic. I have never laughed as much in ages as at some of the banter between the guys! And I was very lucky to get sneak previews from album 4, which are sounding absolutely immense. I'm a bit biaised (been a fan f

You definitely won't find me disagreeing with you there, Coco :-) I firmly believe the band are in a far better place. In June at Dokk'em it will be the 8th time I've seen them and I'm very excited given the fantastic performance at PPM Fest earlier in the month. Marco is a great fit both vocally and personality wise and we now have a band who seem to be enjoying themselves more than ever.

I thought the interview made a good read. Whilst I accept there will always be two sides to every story, I land very much on the side of Paul Logue and co. and think he and Marco come across in a professional and dignified manner in this interview.

I am paranoid about losing data - particularly with family photographs. It would kill me if I lost photos of my young son. I have photos stored on a 500GB internal drive, videos stored on a 1TB internal drive. I backup the photos to a 500GB external drive, the videos to a 1TB external drive and I store my music on a 500GB external hard drive which I backup to another 500GB drive. All my user

Hiya, I have an appalling home broadband connection but Crashplan has managed to upload pretty well for me. On average I can upload around 10GB a day. I tried Carbonite, Mozy and finally Crashplan and settled on Crashplan for the low cost (4 years service for around £90), unlimited storage and ability to back up to external drives and also to friends computers. 99.9% of the time it has perfor

I backup using crashplan to both a separate hard drive and the Crashplan central server. I also have iTunes match and I also backup important files to another hard drive which I keep in my garage!! Determined to not have to reimport thousands of CDs.

The more I watch the videos I took, the more I realise how shocking my singing along was ;-) I can only suggest that it was possibly a combination of excitement at seeing Marco's first gig and the copious amounts of Maes Lager! I totally agree Marco's voice is very powerful in the live setting and it was undoubtedly the best I'd heard the guys. Now to convince my wife that seeing the guys i

I saw the band at PPM Fest in Belgium on Saturday and was very impressed with the band live, so got the CD/DVD special edition from Amazon. I'm liking the CD a lot, the title track is my favourite at the moment, but probably because I remember the great live performance of it.... Will have to catch up on the back catalogue.

...I've been a fan of the band since the debut was released and seen the band 7 or so times and I can say hand on heart that this was the best I've heard the band live. Marco added another dimension with his great vocals and stage presence and the guys were in great spirits, resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable gig. But why take my word for it.....here's a couple of videos to draw your own concl

Couldn't agree more mate. With Marco on board the band have an added dimension, they were all so relaxed and were on fire. Must say I was very impressed by Accept as well. I will definitely get the new cd, Stalingrad.

I'm preparing to head back to the UK after a great weekend over in Belgium to catch the return to live action of Eden's Curse with the debut of new singer, Marco Sandron. Eden's Curse tore the place apart with a well chosen set and sublime vocals from Marco. Simply put, I've seen the guys 7 times now and this was the best I've heard them sounding. The set opened with an unusual intro track (The

I definitely think social media has helped the buzz. The great thing about Firefest is the fan interaction, the music is just part of the attraction (I don't always like every band on the bill) - for me it's about meeting like minded rockers and the more FF's I go to the more people I get to know and the better each subsequent event becomes. The official Firefest site on Facebook was a lively p

...As a massive fan of the band since release of the first record I can't wait to see the guys play their first live gig with new vocalist Marco at PPM Fest in Belgium a week today..... I'm travelling over from the UK for my first foreign festival, slightly nervous but thought I'd make the effort to see Marco in action. He adds a great new dimension to the band, and I love his work with Pathos
