Yep pop evil peaked my interest in Bristol and they went down a storm. Loads of energy with a great frontman and boy could she hit those drums, I'll be checking them out again. I'm a huge 3DD fan and despite the lack of crowd interaction the set was flawless and I’d urge everyone to catch them live

They put on a stellar show,it was nice to hear stuff of cockroach and the great gildersleeves albums too. I'll definitely be going back to Italy for the frontiers festival next year.

i've got the original european release of dokkens breaking the chains on carrere records, not sure how rare it is though. The album was originally released in 1981 in Europe as Breakin' the Chains on the French label Carrere Records. This version contains some different mixes and titles of songs from the later US edition. "Paris Is Burning" is called "Paris" and is actually a

Steelhouse is a great festival, lets hope the weather is better next year. I'm struggling to see the logic in having the darkness headlining myself,do they really have the pulling power for ticket sales? Most people I’ve discussed this with are of the same opinion and as for rambling man being competitors there's no comparison. Bandwise rambling man is streets ahead.

I'm with dean on this one,i've been burnt too many times rockfest, zrock etc to blindly buy tickets without a bit of research and band incentive, As for woody the guys a passionate aor/melodic rock follower whose frustrated by the lack of cooperation he's got from the organisers/owners of rock city and i fully sympathise with him. Luckily there's hrh/aor that is a viable option for him and i'm su

In this digital age people are more savvy, they try before they buy,and i'm willing to bet the majority of the time it's tracks not albums that are purchased. There's also the easily available cell phone mp3 downloader apps to contend with
