I remember getting 2 or 3 copies of the vinyl all were badly pressed and ended up with the cassette. Diamond head were the first band i ever saw and still remain a favorite today. I think they maybe progressed in sound too quickly for most fans at the time. Perhaps if they had managed another album in between this and borrowed time the transition might not have been so pronounced. I do t

Holidays in Eden is Marillion's least prog album so probably an ideal introduction if you like the more melodic side of music. It was quite a shock to many of the old Fish brigade and but i love it. Simpler arrangements, more vocal melodies with Steve Hogarth at his best vocally.

The standard standing tickets are £75 - £83 plus £8.80 fees. Talk about milking the fans dry for the retirement fund. F*** Off laughable to watch Ozzy mumble and read off an autocue.

Sanguine Hum what a great album even with a daft concept, local Oxford boys too near me. Id never heard of them before until i saw a recommendation on a website glad i picked the double cd up. Steven Wilson too a great sounding modern prog cd.

Ive started using Ebay more and direct from band due to the continual price hikes for cd's. They are trying to force everyone towards their digital model for music and films etc. A couple years ago when we had competition cds were generally £7.99 or £8.99 at release now this is the norm for mp3's. sorry but im not paying that for digital music.

My favorite band love both era's. Saw them at the reading festival in 1983 and was hooked. They dipped for a while at the end of the 90's trying to find a direction but still produced decent albums.

Just had to listen to the original after this re-imagining arghhhh David please retire you have nothing to prove. When the studio can't disguise how weak your voice has become its time to knock it on the head. The music isnt bad but its something i can live without. Jorn does a better cover of this.

Better than Uli singing it all thank god. Fantastic guitarist appalling vocalist. Im enjoying this album though Nathan James does a good job but its hard to replace Klaus singing them.

I'm a huge Lana Lane fan, shes very under appreciated. Garden Of The Moon is a good place to start similar type of sound to Queen of the Ocean. Secrets Of Astrology is the "Heavy album" which is also fantastic. Her latest CD El Dorado Hotel also has a good mix of styles. Every album for me is very consistent for song writing and production. Her first 2 albums are perhaps mo
