Ive listened to Tatetryche on spotify meh !! first couple of songs are ok, its better than the last few queensryche records though but thats not saying much. What ive heard of Toddryche so far is far more my cup of tea and i have high hopes.

I go to the NEC regularly as well its a nightmare to get out and dont get me started on the cost of parking !!!!!!, got stuck for 60 mins at RUSH on the last tour but left Alterbridge at the last encore song and was home within 60 mins as i live near oxford.

I actually think its a damn good hard rock record obviously it came with alot of baggage when released in 1985, back on the streets, rockin again, broken heroes, call of the wild . I saw them recently in Leamington for the first time in 20 odd years and they are still a great live band i think they played Rock N Roll gypsies from this record.

Just listened to both and Purple kicks H&E out of the park. I was expecting the best album Rainbow never made after hearing all the comments and hype about H&E all i can say is totally average with a decent singer it does nothing for me. I will give it a few more plays see if anything sticks.

Gillan was my 1st gig ever in 1980 oxford theatre with quartz and white spirit (featuring Janick Gers) my next ached for a week after with all the headbanging lol. I met him the following Future Shock tour was dumbstruck and just shook his hand lol wow hero worship !!

70's scorpions had some great tracks but i find their 70's albums ruined whenever Uli takes the mic worst voice ever !!! Great guitar player but terrible singer his electric sun Firewind album would have been awesome but was ruined by his awful vocals.
