Saw him with the tygers on the Cage tour at Oxford apollo playing to 1000 people, they put on a great show. Then a couple of years later they played the Corn Dolly pub in Oxford in front of 60 ish people a real fall from grace. Shame they couldn't hang on to John Sykes for a couple more albums.

Its a difficult one i think most of us are in their 40's and have accumulated alot of music over the years. I had probably 1000 Vinyl albums, 500 cassettes and 2000 cds until 10 years ago. I then decided to trim the fat, so i started selling on ebay, i now have 50 vinyl records , 0 cassettes and about 1500 Cd's. It was nice to make some cash as i had a young family at the time, i dont

I think the follow up to the passage was a massive disappointment, it dragged on and seemed disjointed and over complicated. I had to skim read it in the end. I did enjoy the passage though, it didnt need a follow up.

Ken Hensley and SIOGO was the beginning of the end and vertical smiles just a sad fading memory of a once great band, its always worrying when the best song is a cover version. They chased the AOR Dollar when they should have stuck to what they did best. Having said that i did enjoy SIOGO i might even dig it out again for nostalgia.
