Yeah, I agree here... I am a huge, huge TP fan, but this cd is just blah...... needs more guitar for me. Defiants is solid, but not Great. I enjoyed it, but haven't listened to it for a while. It didn't stick.

I like the new one better than Coup. Coup is ok, but the latest is great. A little more guitar this time around, which I always love.

My first spin through the Defiants and it is awesome. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Brandon's twin brother Brent also had a hand in writing some of the tunes.

Brandon wrote most of the tunes over the course of the last 10 years. Tracii added his 2cents to them. I'd say 2 or 3 were written together before recording them.

All that he said is true though. He was asked to fill in. It was Jack that took the tour and he was using the Great White name at the time.

The first 3 songs are great... The lyrics are juvenile, but the first 3 songs are rock anthem heaven. AFter that, the cd takes a complete shit dive.

I love the melodic complexity of the chorus. It's there, you just have to dig in a little deeper.

it's ok.... but they should have re-recorded the spots where he sings blatantly off key.... I mean bad.... And yeah, production is shit. No consistency at all. Vocals, guitars, drums, they all fade in and out at random. Annoying.

I will pre-order if the lead singer promises to never dance in a music video again.

I have spun through it 3 times. Ummmmmmmmmmmm.... Kind of blah to me. I like Man enough, Let's go and Dangerous. After that, the rails kind of fall off with a lot of mid tempo blah. You can tell they wrote most of this by passing ideas back and forth as it is all over the map.

Promises is close to my favorite Lep song, so Dangerous isn't even close. It's an ok tune, that's about it.

All Heaven Broke Loose from "A chicken, a fat guy, a small dog and Pizza place" is one of my favorite Reo songs.

"Thick as Thieves" is a stand out to me and "How Did You Love". There really isn't that rock radio hit in there though. And Top 40 radio probably won't touch them, so I think this album is going to find it hard to find radio air play.

Hysteria sold millions because of Pour Some Sugar on Me.... It sold a few titles because of Pyromania, that's it. It went huge because of that one single and a couple of the followups like Animal and Hysteria. This one cd gained millions of female fans. It exploded. Pyromania had little to do with it's success.

I agree with Figge. The drum beat verses are pretty lame, and it sounds more lady gaga than Hard Rock. Maybe they need a second guitarist to get their balls back.

Disappointed to say the least. Too fluffy and radio friendly. Is this a guitar band or a studio, computer created band. Everything is too poppy. Cut the cord was a good start, but the next 2 sound more Lady Gaga than anything Shinedown. Didn't like the path Halestorm took with their latest and this seems to be following suit. 3 thumbs down.

OMG is this bubble gum high school girl music. Sorry, Richie.... Not my music. Wow. They just keep progressing further and further away from anything guitar oriented rock into bubble gum pop.

Hopefully the tour bombs. Eddie is a douche and who wants to see a lead singer that talks all the vocals instead of singing. Smile Dave. That is about all you have going right now.
