Sometimes as much as I love living in New Zealand (And I wouldn't want to live anywhere else) I do get very frustrated with what we miss out on down here and get very jealous when I see festivals like this. This is a great lineup.

I adored the movie, slightly more than 'Rise'. It was a great mix of action and emotional attachment. I couldn't help but get involved in the story instead of just sitting through a movie as often happens - I even had a lump in my throat in parts. Andy Serkis was huge as Caeser and the special effects by WETA were incredible!! I am usually not a fan of CGI but this movie was so believable visu

Hmmm, I actually really liked 'Love and Money' (not rocky but so what) as much as any other of his releases - I love 'Ready Eddie', 'Can't Hold back', Right Here, or even 'Nothing to Lose'. I am interested to see what the new one sounds like

Check your email Bruce. Another fan of the CDG here as well. Not a dud track on it and I could play it all day and not get tired of it.

I saw him last year in Aussie on a 'nostalgic' tour (Waking up the Neighbours) and it was bloody fantastic. So what he is doing I don't mind, and I thought 11 wasn't too bad - just mellow.

Yea, that a good description. I love the guitar style and stoked to have have found a kiwi band I actually get into. Vocals are great to. Apparently they are touring the USA with some pretty big names and live in Vancouver: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Like_a_Storm Reading that maybe not so new, formed 2005, but I am pleased I have found them.

I have never been a big fan of bands from my home country apart from one or two but this band, 'Like a Storm', has just been brought to my attention - and I am impressed and will be looking for their stuff here. Thoughts? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qESLq_tEg1U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79JpTg7L-1Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qESLq_tEg1U https://www.youtube.com/watch?

I enjoy what I am hearing now more than his heyday. The high pitched stuff seems to have been reduced somewhat - I guess thats what you mean by 'down tuned' Terry - and it appeals more now. As good as he was back then sometimes I just had too much of the higher end vocals. I really hjope we get to see a solo CD.

Love it! I am a big Richard Marx fan and he is all class. I just love his softly spoken vocals. One of my favourite vocalists and I would love to see him live but not likely down here in NZ. We don't even get his CD's available here anymore.

I have always had a soft spot for Lionel Richie and heard that he puts on a great show. I finally got to see him here a couple of months ago (Double bill with John Farnham) and it was a great night to. Looks like a very simliar set list. He is a great entertainer.

Agree. Its a pet peeve of mine as well and happens a lot here I had no idea what WT was, and I am a Within Temptation fan. I dislike abreviations when not necessary (no, I am not a good texter either and my son has a good giggle at times). I understand it if the word or words is used once and then abreviated after that. At least then we know what it stands for.

Yea, some people are VERY hard to please on here. Sometimes the artists are dammed if the do and dammed if they don't.

I have never been a huge Journey fan but certainly enjoyed some of their music. Personally I would forget Steve Perry with Journey and love to see a solo CD based on his voice now. I think he sounded great in that clip and would just love him to write, or he probably may already have some songs to put to CD, and put out a solo CD.

Yea, I saw that. I am not an Idol fan at all, as most here would not be for obvious reasons, but after hearing him sing 'Still of the Night' I became very interested. He is excellent and I really hope they don't kill off his natural rock ability with what the organisers consider 'what the public want to hear'. He won because of his rock!! Great to see that style finally get some recognition. I

I think I saw an interview with Mitch Malloy somewhere recently where he said that he had the job but then Eddie Van Halen and Co were on some awards ceremony somewhere after it was announced and invited Dave to join them - but no Mitch. Not surprisingly Mitch Malloy was a bit miffed with this and pulled out. I think this is the interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxF4WRORQ9s

Cool! I'm in for this. It will be interesting to which releases they actually re-release. The extra's will be the selling point for me as the previous re-mastered releases were pretty good anyway.

I saw it last night and thought it was fantastic here is it through another source: http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/americas/10046784/Cat-saves-boy-from-dog PS: sorry about the add at the start. It is a news site. PPS: Looked again and found that Youtube decided to deam in inappropriate some under a certain age.

I think its to do with the recent winner of the English Premier League Terry. I am not a soccer fan but I think it was one of the Manchester teams and Darren is obviously a fan.
