Your not alone Terry. It doesn't blow my mind at all either. I have never been a big TOTO fan anyway apart from a few tracks off releases so my lack of passion for it is not a surprise to me. Of what I have heard, a couple of tracks are ok - but generally not for me. Now, the new Kiske/Somerville release - that has surprised me. Waaay better the the debut for me. For someone whio likes the mor

yea, I figure that Bach live would be even more 'metal'. Your probably right there.

I really like it - more so than Bach's voice. To my ears I hear enough rawness in it. I always found Bach's voice too metallic for my liking and this sounds better.

Steelhouse Lane - All I Believe IN Guns 'n' Roses - November Rain Like a Storm - Southern Skies Within Temptation - Sinead Shinedown - Second Chance Nickelback - Lullaby Woops, sorry 6 there - and plenty more could be added. Love Ballads! I have never been a RATT fan but 'Giving Yourself Away' from your list is an awesome song.

Sort of. But I only think when Andrew thinks the other review is quite different from a review he would give it. For example the reviewer may give it a 70% and Andrew thinks its a 98%'er. Then he's not having to comment on all of them. Either way we are both obvioulsy on the same wavelength:)

Why don't you do what the Horror Movie site - Bloody Disgusting.com - does for their movie reviews. The web site owner does get other reviewers on board but if he has a different opinion of a movie (or your case CD release) he will add a review from himself so gives 2 points of view. Normally he doesn't need to though. Just a thought

Scantilly clad? The young lady pirate seems to be pretty well covered, as if it mattered anyway:) I have seen less clothing on some grandmothers.

Pretty damm sad if someone won't buy the release because of the video (which I have certainly seen worse anyway). It all about the song! I never really got into Pride of Lions but this to me sounds more 'Survivor' like than POL without the theatrical feel. I think I will go and check out the showcase.

Sounds like they are doing a 'Jaded Heart' and turning to a more metal sound based on this one track. I like Bonfire but this does nothing for me unfortunately.

Good luck to your son. Love the world cup so far Andrew. Great to see the 'minnows' doing well. Ireland need to beat India to make the quarters. Tough but they are going along nicely - but can change so quickly as we saw in the last Aussie/NZ game. Ireland 222/5 now after 41.India should chase anything under 300 I think to win

After Grunge hit (I tried to get 'it' but nah!) I struggled to find anything I liked similar to the 80's apart from about half a dozen bands that were to big to disappear and for about 8 years found myself turning to other stuff to just fill the void. In 2000 I fell into this website while surfing on our brand new internet - dialup!!. So thanks to Andrew to bring it back to me and, like everyo

I'll say it then... I enjoyed the AVP movies for what they were. The 1st one was the better of then 2 for me. The second was just a mindless Sci-Fi action but the lighting of the whole movie was terrible. Way to dark. As with Alien 4 I didn't really like the hybrid idea in AVP 2 - but it didn't offend me. An ok movie.

Personally I loved them all for varying reasons. The dark, suspenseful man/women against alien of 1 and 3 or the straight out full on alien action movies of 2 and 4. Aliens has to be one of the best sequels ever produced. For all its faults I also loved Prometheus and looking forward to the next one due next year. I think the plan for Alien 5 was for 2017.

http://screenrant.com/alien-5-neill-blomkamp-casting-michael-biehn-hicks/ I am stoked being a HUGE Alien fan (everything Alien!!) Neil Blomkamp should do a really good job of this. District 9 was a cool movie and I can't wait to see Ripley and Hicks fighting Aliens again. Michael Beihn was apparently very surprised and annoyed (polite) that he was dropped from the 3rd in the franchise.

And after all the shit Andrew went through to change the front page? The front page is on my favourites and I just flick from there to the noticeboard in a second. Can you guys not just flick to the front page if you are looking before asking where on the noticeboard:) I hear Andrew's frustration.
