I am reading his bio at the moment and it is a great read, and I get the feeling nothing is held back. I would recommend it.

And after all the shit Andrew went through to change the front page? The front page is on my favourites and I just flick from there to the noticeboard in a second. Can you guys not just flick to the front page if you are looking before asking where on the noticeboard:) I hear Andrew's frustration.

Yea, I always thought there was something missing from the sound but not being a 'techy' could't put my finger on it. Love all the tracks though.

These ares probably the 'perfect' albums in my collection (no track skipping): Within Temptation - the Unforgiving Kyhmera - The Greatest Wonder Treat - Coup de Grace Rick Springfield - Living in Oz Face face - Childhood Dreams H.E.A.T - Address the nation 91 Suite - S/T Brother Firetribe - Diamond in the Firepit This excludes any CD's I love except for 1 track of which there are a l

Wow - and so? If you want a CD I think that is a ok price ie: not a cheap bargain basement CD. If I like and want a particular CD I wouldn't hesitate paying that. If I am not sure on a CD then maybe not. Decision should be made on the need for the CD not just the price.

I am with you there. I like AP slightly above Inside Information as not a track I don't like on it - but a close call.

Thanks. Maybe still not for me. I am still not sure about the 'new' Europe for me. Just not enough hooks there and I don't get a 'feeling' for the stories in the songs. BUT I can see that they would go down well with the heavier crowd if they could get past the 'Europe' label.

Umm, so purchasers know what they might be buying maybe? I have just listened to/watched 'Orphan' and like it - hence I might look at buying it based on more I hear of the CD.

For me its the Re-issue of Rude Awakening - Candle in the Window is such a cracker tune!! In saying that Meet The Man is a great CD as well, except for the title track does absolutely nothing for me.

I agree that no one has the right to hear samples but it is not so much having the right to hear sound bytes (or whatever format to hear some of it), it is that the technology is available and I would have thought that they (and not even sure who 'they' would be) would use this tool to promote to others besides the hard core TOTO fan. Something called marketing? Seems to me to be cutting off t

I have read the whole thread and this is an interesting discussion - but I could see getting out of hand if not careful. The 'Gripe' for me is about those of us that aren't hard core fans and do need to hear something first, with the technology being available, before spending some of our limited cash available for music (I only buy up to 10 per year and need to be choosey what it is).I never b

Is the same set list we got here in NZ. Yes, set list is way too short but fortunately we did have Heart straight after it. Besides, here in NZ we are lucky to get any bands over here. Looks like Nickelback aren't visting this time round - bugger it!. I'll take any set list I can get.

Aside from the lack of songs from S/T, Brigade, Bad Animals and Desire Walks the overabundance of covers is my problem. Their back catalogue is huge so more than enough of their own songs to use. It doesn't matter who wrote it, if its on their album its one of their songs to me. The only track of the covers they sang I was happy to hear was 'Stairway To Heaven'. Very strange to choose a Wings son

Well, I guess I struggled with their show because I am not a Zeppelin fan - and anyway 5 cover songs (3 Zepp tracks) is too many - and I would definitely choose the latter: Alone What ABout Love These Dreams Never The overall consensus here in NZ for those that went, according to other local forums, is the same as well. Also believing that Foreigner should have been the headline act.

Brigade is also by far and away my favourite Cd from them to - but they played absolutely nothing off that. From that era all we got was Alone, What About Love and These Dreams. Everything else was pre Self Titled or a Led Zep song - oh yea - and a Paul McCartney song. Big let down for me. In saying that I still appreciate that her voice is still f!@#$%^g amazing!! I really do hope that For

Well, what a day! (Hot as well!) I have waiting a long time to see both Foreigner and Heart Live and that day finally came yesterday. Foreigner - Well, what can I say, Brilliant! You guys have been going on for years about how good Kelly Hanson is up front, and I didn't doubt you, but he was amazing. Great interaction with the crowd, great vocals, great attitude, JUST GREAT! My wife came along

Slash's book is excellent. He did seem like a really likeable and intelligent person. I also enjoyed Pat Benatar's and Lou Gramm's book.

I wouldn't say 'Overrated' but I do agree with you. Nothing from their catalogue makes me want more and I can live without. I don't even need a compilation CD. I think it might be the sound of the time's though because when a 'current' band (in our genre) covers a Beatles song more than often than not I like it - dunno why!

This sounds very interesting and look forward to hearing some of it. I really enjoy the softer side of David Readman - like some of the softer tracks off PC69 and his solo release. Sound good.
