'as in Terry's post'! Sorry, missed that as I don't get time to read ALL the posts. I will check them out sometime soon, when I get time?

Some here must get annoyed very easily Andrew because I don't see the problem myself. All pretty harmless stuff in my view. If it doesn't interest me I ignore it and its not like the abusive, aggressive negative stuff which I did have a problem with that we used to get on here by some long gone. Storm in a tea cup comes to mind. Just my thoughts.

I thought I was the only person not liking it based on comments here. I am a Gotthard fan and am really struggling to get into 'Bang' apart from about 4 songs (Feel what I feel, Thank You, My Belief and What you get). Unfortunately I am an 'immediate' listener' and a CD/song has grab be within a couple of listens. I am really trying with this and can't get it. I even prefer Firebirth to this - an

I have never had a problem separating them when it comes to WUTN and D/Leppard even though they were of a similar sound. I much preferred Bryan Adams anyway. If I had to choose to play between Hysteria and WUTN - WUTN wins everytime for me. Also I have seen both Def Leppard and Bryan Adams live in the past couple of years and the Bryan Adams concert completely wiped the floor with Def Leppard

Im saw him last April and it was an amazing 2 1/2 hours and if you like Bryan Adams I would suggest not to miss it! His voice is still great and the rapoire that he and Keith Scott have on stage is incredible. We were fortunate that he did focus on WUTN and a lot of his older stuff.

Yup. What he said. Personally I love the hooks and music but find the lyrics are a one night night stand - pun intended. I can't listen to them for too long but do appreciate their musianship. Phil2's story of being caught with it on his Ipod at work would be awkward in the wrong company. In saying that their concerts do look like a hell of a lot of fun!!

I know this has been discussed before but I have just received my CD Hydra and - WOW! I am pleased to say waaay better than anticipated. I was very unsure about buying this due to the snippets I heard and the use of rap and growls, but this is awesome! I have loved WT since The Silent Force and this style is not usually my cup of tea but this band just do it so well bringing in a very comme

I remember seing him in the 80's and it sticks in my mind as being a great show. Good to see he hasn't lost his sense of humour.

WOW! My wife and I aren't 'fans' but really enjoy some of Bruce's stuff (more so the 80's releases). We had heard that he puts on incredible 3 hours + show so got tickets for Sunday night and drove for 4 hours to be there. Well, what a show! Value for money = YES! Being huge fans of Jimmy Barnes his 1 1/4 hour support slot was a bonus. Bruce Springsteen has so much energy and puts more into a sho

Wow! Cool I just watched a few of their videos and they are great. 'Pressure' made the comment about music transcending the genres that we have placed on them, and that is so right. I am goint to pass this onto a few of my friends. Way cool!

Here is a long in depth interview (in many parts) with Tom Keifer that I thought you guys might be interested in. The most interesting portion is from # 21 where he talk a lot about his vocal problems he had. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMFIDwNgLLE

LOVE 91 Suite! 2 great releases and never get tired of listening to them. I like the sound of this track, seems almost a continuation of 91 Suite sound, and this will be on my shopping list.

Thats why I found the Pat Benatar book a fascinating read. I didn't expect the bad feelings - due to the way they were treated by the record company - towards the industry, Chrysillis records in particular, from day 1.

I find it great that generally there are the usual suspects throughout the lists - Lipservice, Greatest Wonder, Rise Up and Coup de Grace are the obvious ones. Just shows the strength and longevity of them I guess (although Rise Up is pretty new I guess). A couple that I had on my initial list but deleted to make it 10 was Allen/Lande - The Battle and Shinedown - The Sound of madness which ha

Trying to keep all the 'classic' stuff out of the choices I am interested what you guys consider to be your favourite CD's since 2000 - not your considered 'best' CD's but cd's that you would play the most frequently. Also try to keep it 1 CD per artist - if possible. My collection is limited compared to some of those here but this would be my choice based on what I have: Treat - Coup de Gr

I REALLY hope they bring out songs in the same vein as the 91 Suite stuff. I am pleased that I have the 2 91 Suite CD's as I understand they are pretty hard to find now. Its excellent stuff!

Is the 'Secret' release in English? I love the 91 Suite CD's I have and would look forward to another release along the same lines. I had heard that they were now only singing music in spanish under another name. Cheers

That may well be the case in WT history (Of which I don't go back any further than The Silent Force for exactly that reason) but I agree with Terry in that, to me, the growling doesn't need to be there and completely ruins a decent melodic metal track. If I wanted growls in my music I would turn to Black Metal. Either way I am a fan of recent the post Silent Force stuff and I probably will
