Its actually Frankie Poullain that sings on Conquerors, i played the album thru when i first got it & wasnt really that into it , but i tried again later while sitting in the sun, drinking & listenin to Permission To Land & it went over far better the 2nd time round, even got to liking Hammer n Tongs, the weak track for me is Mudslide

No wonder Invincible sounds like Boston, the riff is almost a straight lift from Something About You, i checked the album out on spotify & while i emjoyed it, it was a little formulaic, MR by numbers so to speak, Think Lightnin Strikes Twice is a much better album

The first four for me & 1984, can`t take one over another because they all great imo, i don`t hear any filler on those albums at all & although i do enjoy Diver Down the whole thing is basically filler, lost interest after 5150 which was just ok i s'pose

Was just thinking about this possibility the other day, I know there was talk of a new album with Pete Shoulder on vocals but now Tommy La Verdi is back on the scene that's something I'd reall like to hear

we've only heard one side of the story, it seems a bit strange that a person could ask such a thing & expect them to agree but if it`s true then that is one seriously fucked up/deluded individual

Great musicicans but the vocals really put me off, never been a Tim Owens fan & the other two voices Chuck Billy & Kelle Rhoads were terrible, would rather hear ozzy sing them & thats saying something ...lol Never really got these tribute albums anyway, i mean whats the point, play the songs live sure but if your gonna record them put your own stamp on them, doing them in excatly the

This is a band that should be right up my street but i`ve tried & tried & they just do nothing for me at all, i`m a big 70`s original/retro bluesy rock fan but for me Rival Sons are a band that have a more 60`s inspired poppy/trippy feel rather than that harder/rockier authentic 70`s blues rock sound
