1mn 30sec samples of all album tracks available on the link below, i absolutely love this band but was kind of disappointed with The Whippoorwill & on first listen most of the tracks here don`t do it for me aside from the title track & the more rock sounding tracks like Wish In One Hand & Paybacks a Bitch, Fire In The Hole & the itunes bonus track Pearls, 5 out of 12 is ok i s'pos

After being VERY underwhelmed with this track i was happy to find another this morning, however that happiness was shortlived when i realised this other track sounded like bad status quo, such a shame cos i loved Blackberry Smoke but they started to lose me a little with Whipoorwill, i really hope these two tracks aren't indicative of whats to come Rock n Roll Again http://youtu.be/WJcIgjCeU

i`ve said this many times before after each Silvertide post, the band had a full album recorded & ready to go well before they split but the record company refused to release it, Walt described it as being heavier than Show & Tell , not sure wether thats a good thing or a bad thing, why this hasn`t yet seen the light of day in part or in full yet i don`t know as Walt seemed to be pretty s

From Rolling Stone (dated Sept 22nd) Pink Floyd have finally announced the details of their new album The Endless River, which hits shelves on November 10th. It's the group’s first new release since 1994’s The Division Bell. According to a press release, The Endless River is a “four-sided instrumental album,” though one track, “Louder Than Words,” has lyrics by David Gilmour’s wi

Rock n Roll Animal was a collection of songs from both Light Me Up & Wicked Love, Light me up could be considered an EP i s'pose with only 6 tracks, but there were 17 tracks in total across both those releases & only 12 on R n'R Animal so your missing 5, the best of which imo is Freak Out, but unfortunately i can`t find it anywhere online http://genethewerewolf.bandcamp.com/album/light

As T says they incoporate everything but the kitchen sink stylewise even within an album so for that reason i couldn`t really recommend any particular album but will say they all have some great tracks, i will however recommend my favourite track of theirs & thats the ballad Deadwood Mountain http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiJvmR191Z8 (wait for the guitar solo, it just soars) you migh

I always thought at the time that if Robbie Williams covered P[ink Cream 69's Gone Again it would have been a hit (not the cockney version obviously) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OkdJ5UKNl4

Solli was great on the 2nd album, would love to have Laverdi back tho, i suppose all thats written would be the stuff Gorham was doing with Pete Shoulder ? I remember hearing 2 demos from back then with Pete on vocals, Messin With Mine & The Wall, sounded just like 21 guns but with Pete Shoulder on vocals ...lol

The first album "Road of Life" piqued my interest, loved the follow up "Firewater" which i did post about back in 2011 (http://www.melodicrock.com/phorum52/read.php?1,842557,842557#msg-842557) but just can`t get into "Early Morning Shakes", i`ve tried on numerous occasions, tried again this morning & although there are a few good tracks like Reckoning & Head

Never really liked the original song at all but this appeals to me a little more, seems like i`m quickly becoming a DJ Ashba fan, he was the standout performer for me on the new GnR Live in Vegas 3D thing & i have to say i`m amazed that Axl let that pass quality control becasue at times his vocals are absolutely terrible

no band in particular but it will definitely be something from the 70`s to early 80`s a period in time when i was at most most sponge like, it's a little more difficult these days for me to find really GREAT stuff with the exception of Howlin Rain - The Russian Wilds of course ;-)
