Apparently it was Dr Feelgood - the Americans seem to consider them to be punk (their R&B pub rock sound was an influence on punk bands). The late 1977 North American tour seems to be another one in which dates were announced, switched and rearranged several times before being finalized. Bruce - the self-titled Joey Tempest album was the only I didn't pick up because what I heard of it was very 'pop' with no memorable songs. Have seen it called 'Coldplay-ish' which is probably about right. Shame because I love 'A Place To Call Home'.

Actually Terry you are right - it is not that the CD will sound better as mp3, more that they are mastered so that the mp3 will sound as good as possible (i.e. not very!).

It is because the CD sound is being mastered to sound best after it has been ripped to mp3 & put on an ipod. If a seperate master is done for the vinyl that will sound better.

Got that one as well - I actually borrowed it from my local library and taped it. Never actually saw a new copy to buy so finally picked up a vinyl copy just last year.
