I don't think it is a case of having no interest in putting out rare stuff, more that they are finding it increasingly difficult to get permission from the record companies (at least without paying huge sums of money that they will never make back).

These sets are probably not really aimed at the purists, they would buy the individual releases. These are mostly for the people who want a CD as a 'backup', but mostly just rip the tracks to their ipod - which will group them by album anyway.

Destiny was seen as a continuation of their return to form after the Crusader and Innocence albums which were seen by many as chasing the American market. Rock The Nations was a partial return to their earlier sound - but the songs were not as good. Destiny did not sell well enough to prevent the band being dropped by EMI.

Terry - as far as I know this has never been released in any format. Are you thinking of the Let There Be Rock vhs / dvd ? From wikipedia re: If You Want Blood: The whole concert was filmed but the complete footage has never been released. Eventually, "Riff Raff" and "Fling Thing/Rocker" segments were made available on the AC/DC Family Jewels DVD. Footage was also used on
