I saw them on the Tyketto tour at Newcastle Riverside. Very nice guys, got to hang out on their tour bus - that probably had more to do with the three girls I was with though lol!!

Lol! I have been listening some more & I still get Dokken, but also some Europe & Scorpions. It is a Z records budget album, but it does not sound bad at all - I like it.

Just picked up a Seven Wishes cd & it is in my car player at the moment - first impression, low budget Dokken. Blue Tears are very much Bon Jovi / Def Leppard in style.

Was the first Kick Axe track I heard - from the Playboy Street Rock album. In 1981 the band pulled in vocalist Charles McNary as their career took a boost when their track 'Reality Is The Nightmare' was included on the Playboy magazine compilation album 'Playboy Street Rock'. I would agree with Tyketto. Also Thunder - although they came very close. As TonyP posted - Guns N Roses And in a similar vein, LA Guns & Faster Pussycat

+1 for Racing Time, great album. It is the only one I have (on vinyl) - really should scope out the others.

I had (have) all of those except for Metalmania (which my mate had) & Maple Metal (which I have never heard of before). Love compilations like these - I want Kerrang Kompilation on cd!

Meat Loaf - Braver Than We Are album review Album Review Reviews / 10 days ago / by Chris Roberts Loaf and Steinman: reunited and (gloriously) overexcited For one of the best-selling artists ever, Loaf’s had one turbulent career. It always seems that just to float, he has to run like some kind of winged mammal out of Hades. He continues to gig, act and have health scares.
