Cool! I thought I was the only one who didn't care for Gillan's voice. Even though the new album shows him dialing it back a bit to let the song stand out LOL I have always been a fan of the Coverdale/Hughes era. The best sounding era overall in general.

His meet & greet is like waiting in line at the airport, Single file, 5 seconds for him to sign and no pics. Not worth it unless you are an uber fan IMO. I've seen im 3 x's and it was all the same way. The best thing to do is get in line and see how he interacts with fans. and then decide whether the wait is worth it

I'm kinda like you with DP. the only difference is that My fave era is Coverdale/Hughes era all 3 studio albums. Other than that, My knowledge is pretty limited to the hits. However, I do have Slaves & Masters album with JLT on vocals just because I dig JLT in general!
