Anyone heading up for this show in the wolf den? With motley crue playing in the arena, I'd imagine there won't be much of a line. I'll be there sometime before the doors open. Been counting the days for this one. Hopefully, Frankie doesn't do anything to cause Dave or Jimi to bail in the next 12 hrs lol.

I very much prefer Rise Up. I've tried listening to the debut a number of times and just can't get into it minus "one love" "just go" or "brothers in arms."

27 year old male, coming from CT either alone or with my wife (probably alone) if I can get the time off from work. I also have a friend who lives in WI (about 2 hrs away) and if she can get the time off, she'll probably be there. More likely than not, I'll be flying there. Slightly over 2 hr flight vs probable 14-15 hr drive. Easy choice on my end especially if I head out alone. I'm hoping

Just curious where the best place to start would be. Have only heard a couple tracks from the art of balance off YouTube so far.

Just got it! Still listed at $2.19 for now. I liked this album quite a bit more than most on here and agree that the remixes (what I've heard so far...few tracks off spotify) are an improvement over the original release.

Good list. Regarding #8: if I'm seeing a band for the first time, I'm content with hearing the hits. With others I've seen a number of times, I'm always hoping for a little variety. I get bands having to play hits, but you don't need to keep the same exact set year after year.

Yup, it was quite a storm. I also live in Connecticut, but where I am we had about 2 feet. Unusual when we end up with less than the southern and eastern parts of the state.

I like it more than 7 Sinners, but I'd put it just under Gambling With The Devil. My favorites are Nabatea, Live Now, title track, and Another shot of life. Not a classic, but certainly enjoyable.

Awesome! Always loved Rebel Girl. Speaking of Bickler, what ever became of that solo album?

Real Love was the first song I ever heard from Dare. Then, I heard OOTS and was surprised how different it was. That remains my favorite of theirs, but BFS is right behind it. Granted, it sounds more typical of the time but the moment I turned on this album for the first time and heard Wings of Fire I knew I was going to come back to this one repeatedly. Classic IMO and far better than what t

Looks good as usual. Just waiting to see the MRF3 lineup now. Still wish Firefest was an option for me, but too much to travel from the us.

IPod at work most of the time. I'm a rural mail carrier, so I have a good 3-4 hrs to crank whatever I feel like. Have a small altec lansing portable speaker which is surprisingly good as far as sound quality goes. Also spend some time at home on spotify.

Rob, I found it on Amazon a few minutes after posting this. Was surprised to see it available remastered. Safe to say I'll be ordering it soon. Agree about the network album. I listen to it about as often as the red dawn album. Both classics.

Curious to what anyone's thoughts are on this album. Searched for it after hearing the network and red dawn albums because I wanted to hear more of Larry's voice. I found a copy on ioffer and the seller gave me an offer of $19.95 (shipping included). Heard a clip of one track. Sounded pompy which I like. This is the first time I've come across it. Gave up a few years ago originally.

Just curious if anyone has heard anything about them. Any chance of a second album? I'm a big fan of "state of the art." Still listen to it regularly.

The same could be said for firefest. For me, MRF3 would be much easier to attend due to living in the US. Good idea, but IMO probably will not be an option.

This is tragic. Also only 30 minutes from where I live. Far too many events like this have taken place.

I prefer Blackeyed Susan to Britny Fox. Both the debut and unreleased 2nd album are worth a listen if you're into bands like the Black Crowes IMO. Very much prefer Dean when he's trying to sing rather than shriek. For BF, I think Bite Down Hard is the best followed by In Heat.

They work alright, but sound quality is another story. Muddy as can be.

Gave the first 5 tracks a listen on Spotify. So far, I'm sold. Sounds like an improvement over the debut, which didn't do much for me at all.

A while ago, a topic was posted on here regarding a possible reunion with Stephen Clifford. Haven't heard or seen anything regarding that in a long time. Anyone know what's going on there?

I've listened to a few songs here and there from Nightwish. Sometimes, found the opera vocals to be a bit over the top for my liking. Never took the time to listen to an entire album though. The new Xandria album was recommended to me on amazon and I've really enjoyed it, especially "blood on my hands" and "call of the wind." I went and listened to clips from their previou

Lionville also did nothing for me. Clips from the second one sound a bit more promising, but still I'm not curious to hear more. Enjoyed the Magnificent. Might be because I'm a huge fan, but I love the new Jimi Jamison album. Erik's writing does very little for me most of the time, but this album is an exception. Both this and One Man's Trash IMO are far better than Crossroads Moment or Kimb

Bought it off Amazon mp3 a few days ago. The new songs are great! Like the remake of "I can't sleep." As well. Hoping a full album of new stuff is coming in the future!
