If Fleetwood Mac were considered an American band, I would tie them for 1st with the Eagles. And really, with Stevie and Lindsay upfront and launching FM to superstardom, they basically are an American band.

There's quite a bit of looking back at Steve with rose colored glasses. While alive, he was an enormous drain on the band's energy and ability to put out new material in a timely fashion. He was talented and provided some of their more memorable riffs but lionizing him and lamenting the death of the band is a tad over the top IMO. If anything, the new album eliminates in my mind entirely the

What exactly does Sammy have to gain from going back to VH? He plays shows now when and how he wants to and who he wants to play with. He certainly doesn't need the money. Don't do it Sammy.

They were never nor will ever be esteemed like Zepplin but who will? However, from the 80s, there are a handful of iconic artists that are still relevant today and will still be relevant a long time from now. I'd say these artists transcend the decade of their hey day: 1. U2 2. Madonna 3. Def Leppard 4. Bon Jovi(yeah, I know but he still packs stadiums) 5. Journey It's hard to find some

Sea of Love is one of my favs! Sounds different yet just like them. The riff is killer and the 2nd half of the song has so much energy.

Couldn't agree more. To me, it's the best since Adrenalize. Some of the songs, like Dangerous, Wings of an Angel and All Time High are as good as ANYTHING they've ever done.

Mostly rubbish. Listen to the original version of truth. An album like that would have been much better instead of the half baked shite they came up with instead

I have Sea of Love, Man Enough and Broke n Brokenhearted on my classics list, so I've got 8 great tracks out of 14 which is practically a full album in and of itsel.

The way I see it, Pyro has 10 songs, 8 of them are perfect, 2 I would consider filler. Pyro gets 100% regardless.

Been a full week now and I've had plenty of opportunity to listen to the full album many times and form concrete impressions. OVerall, I agree with Andrew's comments and thoughts though based on the weakness of some songs, I score it slightly lower. Had those songs been left off or used as bonus tracks, my overall score would've been higher. Energized and Battle of My Own will not make my

Growers for me: Sea of Love and Wings of Angel, the latter with a face melting solo. The riff and guitar work on Sea of Love is phenomenal even if I think the track is missing some more melody overall.

after several spins I feel comfortable in stating the following: 1. For the first time, since ever, the band was finally accurate in describing the album in pre-release interviews. There is literally something for everyone and most eras of the band's career are represented with a heavy portion of Slang/Retroactive/Euphoria. Danegrous/Let's Go sound a little more Hysteria/Pyro to me given tha

At a minimum, if a Lep fan can't dig Let's Go, Dangerous, We Belong and All Time High then there truly is no pleasing that person. This is a something for everybody disc and those songs are classic sounding Lep.

What I cant figure is why The Boneyard and Hair Nation totally ignore new music from Lep but play new music from much lesser artists.
