Did the bassist avoid playing the intro to Don't Stop believin' and spend most of the gig posing and pointing his laser-ended bass? Lol!

It IS dire.... I'm not sure if videos are supposed to act as promotional tools anymore but in this case (& many from Frontiers) the opposite is true.... Dreadful, amateur and embarrassing.... Shame, because Danny doesn't deserve to be made to look so silly....

They're on Facebook. Mainly based in SE England and have just reformed to record this album after a break of many years. Their last album 'Undivided' is also well worth a listen....

Check this out - It’s the opening single from the upcoming 'Moritz' album. It starts out like the Doobie Brothers, adds a little ELO, mixes in a generous dose of classic AOR/melodic rock and tops off with a Steely Dan-style 'Haiitian Divorce' guitar solo...! Wonderful :) And, from what I’ve had the privilege to hear, the rest of the album (due in March) is equally as impressive…! h

LOVE the NFO album - really blew me away as soon as I first heard tracks on Youtube and has been a staple on my stereo since. A classic in every way! I know it's early, but my predictions for albums of 2013 are: 1) The new 'Moritz' album - I have heard the unmastered final edits and it sounds AWESOME! 2) 'Ian Danter' (Yes, he of TalkSport DJ fame) - 'Prove Me Wrong'. A superb sounding al

Should be called 22 strings (a keyboard) & a drummer…. Not sure where they got 24 strings from? 3x6 string guitars = 18, 1x4 string bass = 4. 18 + 4 = 22

...and they're finishing up a new album at this very minute :) Greg Hart (gtrs) & Andy Stewart (keys) are also in 'The Jackie Generation' - a theatre act who pay tribute to classic 70's pop. Mike Nolan (lead guitar) is also in 'AOR Starz' the new AOR/Melodic Rock tribute band (also featuring Jimi Anderson of 'A Foreigners Journey', Wayne Harris of 'Bon Giovi' and Gary Piears-Banton of '

Ah, you beat me to it! :0 Blotzer's timekeeping is dreadful even when he's not dragging the beat back! There's no way he could play even half of what Scott Rockenfield played.... it'd belike putting Lars Ulrich in Rush! lol! Rudy Sarzo - quality player.... sad he feels the need to do this. If it's for the money I hope he's getting paid upfront as I'm sure Geoff and his wife will be creaming o

Elton has often used different musicians on his CDs in recent years.... No idea why as he already has the best ones in his band.

Geoff always said he didn't like 'metal' but here he is continuing in that vein. He should just sever his ties and do his own thing. That way we can all go and enjoy the classic music played by the REST of the band with a singer who can actually cut it...

So sad to hear that one of my all time favourite bassists has passed away. Bob Birch, Elton John's bassist of the last 20+ years and original bassist of melodic acts 'Fortune' and 'War Pipes' (remember either of them?)apparently took his own life. He was found with a gunshot wound to the head around the corner from his house... RIP Bob and thanks for all the wonderful music and those killer

I'm with Scott on this... They only used sampled backing vocal enhancements on some of the really big sounding (multi-vocal) choruses or phrases like "Anyway you want it", not all the way through.... Anyway, don't forget that all the pro live vids/albums etc from the 70's/80's have all been doctored in the studio before release.... lets not pretend that vocals were perfect back in

I don't understand people saying that Arnel is 'no frontman'?!? He has a phenomenal voice, is constantly smiling and communicating through eye contact with the audience and uses his boundless energy to encourage them to clap along, sing and interact.... The ONLY thing his is lacking now is between song banter but FFS English isn't his first language. Surely it's enough that he's doing just
