I used to have this along with Monsters Of Rock...2 of my first albums I ever bought as a kid....loved them both and they are what got me into rock music....classics,both of them....

both albums are better than Metropolis for me....not one filler on either album....metropolis had some great moments but was patchy for me....I put this up there with the first 2 releases....excellent...

if they make a commercial album it will sell....but i fear they have shot themselves in the foot by not continuing in the wake of 'Don't Stop Believin's success and revelations' commeciality and released an under par over indulgent record....

Silent Scream is my favourite album....solid but the production was a little top heavy...needed more bass imo....liked other tracks from other albums but not as consistent for me....

You should always shop around Bluesman...it pays to be thorough.....HMV is £12 free p&p and still cheaper than what you paid i think....I picked up Dare's Calm Before The Storm 2 from HMV for £8 so sometimes they are cheaper so never assume anything...always check every available stockist....

£8 from HMV....bargain...and Darren breathes new life into the songs...better production and guitars to the fore....i prefer this version and the extra tracks...precious was too good to stay a b side...as is the last time....wish he would re do Out of the silence with bonus tracks...

I have not really heard much by this band but loved Max Bacon's vocals in Bronz and GTR etc...then i listened to the live album...A Night Of Mystery and i must say i quite liked what i heard...i know Max didn't sing on all of their albums and the other guy who sang on the live album 'You Keep Me Hanging On' i think was awful....the albums are all deleted now and to purchase them costs a fortune w
