Looking to discover some bands that never made it big, but still put out some great hard rock/metal during the 80's even if it was only one album. Has to be sung in English. Something along the lines of this. https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=48Gk0HRIcUE https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=3fjJ7Y_Md7s

Yes, that Dj Ashba solo is the stuff of a legend, if the legend is a 3 year old picking up the guitar for the first time.

I've been wondering about this of late, as well. Is Classic Rock in reference to a time period (60's-80's) or in reference to a sound of a time period such as bands from the 60's -80's, but able to include newer bands with a classic rock sound like Rival Sons, Spiritual Beggars, Thundermother, etc. Honestly, to me it's more of a period of time, but I would rather it be the sound just so I can he

The first, AND LAST,time I made a weather related playlist was prepping for Hurricane Sandy. Lost power for a week, had to have my roof and siding replaced. No more weather playlists for me.

Which artists would you have liked to see work together on a studio project but never did/have (that you know of)? 1. Gregg Allman & Eric Clapton 2. Robert Plant & Eddie Van Halen would be interesting 3. Michael Sweet & Jorn (or Glenn Hughes)

I have the first four on vinyl. Would love to get KTF through HAND as well. Definitely not paying $47 a pop though to fund his retirement.

Having never heard the original, I was happy that I got both CDs. I liked it a lot and it will definitely be in my year end list.

Listened to the album today. Doesn't work for me as Blackfoot or as any other name. Generic & forgetful.

Stranger Things was great. Netflix needs to give the go for a season 2. Great seeing Winona Ryder back on screen, although, I kept thinking Patricia Heaton (Everyone Loves Raymond). Great tunes as well.

Great recommendations everyone. I'll get on it. Appreciate the kind comments. I do like a variety of music. The link was just for 2016, so far. I also have a 2015 and 2014 list if you care to check those out as well. Ag5ai, thanks, and if you think of more, keep it coming.

I am neither, but I do appreciate the artistry and time that go into the various projects, costumes, and movies. This lady is the absolute best. Her work is stunning to say the least. She does it all herself. https://m.facebook.com/KayPikefashion/

Speaking of Phillip, I'd love to see another Places Of Power album. Also, check out the new Whjtford/St. Holmes album. There's a song or two on there with a Perfect World vibe. Good album as well.

I dig the vibe on this song. Two things I notice in this video - 1. Joe stole one of Steven Tyler's mic scarves 2. Phil actually is not showing off his oiled slathered chest. Miracles still happen.

A great artist to check out is Spain's own Joe Satriani, Jose De Castro. Awesome stuff.
