I'm sick to death of reading this forum and people throwing around ridiculous opinions based on poor YT clips. I'll say it again and again, poor audience video recordings is NOT the proper way to judge or base an opinion on ant live shows. 'Exact chronicle of the event'? Has to be the funniest comment I've read on this forum and Terry K is pretty hard to beat for those.

I've been a big fan of Mike for a long time. Not all his stuff is great, he can be a bit hit and miss. Though most would know Tubular Bells or the Exorcist theme, he has done a lot more and better. He is still recording new material, but rarely plays live anymore.

GLA has some strong moments, but also some of Magnum's worst songs. Production/mix not too bad, sounded good back in the day, perhaps it hasn't age so well? YouTube never a good standard for compressed lossy audio quality.

This thread was so predictable, before I even clicked I knew what was going to be written. It looks like it was one of those gigs were you had to be there to get it. Watching poor quality fan filmed video's is never the best way to judge anything. I've read some reports, not reviews from people who were at the shows and the response has been really good. This is not vintage 1977, with C

Rush are a great live band, but play the same set list every night and seem to play the same songs on every tour. Bruce dosen't, he is in a class of his own.

As this is named the melodic rock forum, I assumed that FW would be pretty much unknown.

I was going to post the same thing, but figured that no one here would even know the name. Sounds great and even Ray sounds like a different man that his performance on the last Redemption album. Already pre-ordered.

Yeah no worries mate I can understand your frustration. I know from previous experiences that AUK usually do this sort of thing. Pre-ordered :)

Alright mate take it easy :) The only reason I prefer to buy from amazon is that I am outside the UK and therefor AUK do not charge VAT and have a pretty low shipping cost.

I never bought those 3 discs, so I will probably pick it up. But low price? Amazon UK have it for 20 UKP, that is not cheap :)

Crapple eh? Amusing for half a second, I'd take my iMac over any PC running Windows any day.

Why is it a joke? I've had a few instances where my phone was out of warranty and I took it and they replaced the battery free of charge. My local Apple store I can say that they are always very helpful. Sounds like you had a faulty product, which does happen.

That's the other good thing about Apple, you can take your product to them and they usually can help you out, without trying to sell you a new product. You probably need a new hard drive, which is easily enough to replace.

I bought an iMac 5 years ago, no issues at all, still as quick as the day I bought it, I have only upgraded the RAM. Before I bough it I used to change my PC every 2 years as it would get slower and slower with time. No issues with this machine. I also have a Mac Mini (just for music recording) and a Macbook Pro and all are fast and never given me any trouble at all. Yes more expensive

I hate them and avoid if I can at all costs. Besides being so fragile, the glue doses not last long and then there are those one where the CD are packed so tight in the cardboard that they are near impossible to get out, without tearing the packaging.

First off rant, RSD now has just turned into labels releasing overpriced, so called limited editions and it squeezing more out of the record buying public. That said a decent range this year, I went to my local indy store in Sydney, 'Utopia Records' at 0700, picked up Iron Maiden's 'Empire Of The Cloud's' 12" pic disc single, for $49.95AU.

Ark's self titled debut was the first time I've ever heard Jorn, and is still my fave from him and musically it's the most adventurous that he's ever sung over. Second would be Beyond Twlight, The Devil's Hall Of Fame, progressive but not as much as Ark. The solo stuff has had it's moments but I lost interest in him a few albums ago, too many plod along boring repetitive songs.

Plenty of 'assistance' around to help you out. I use a free app called 'Hola' and I watch lots of geo restricted TV mainly from the UK.

I would say that it all comes down to who actually holds the rights to those albums, and then how/what they release them.

CD Japan, been ordering from them for 13 years, 7 when I lived in Wales, never once got stung for import duties and 6 years now in Australia, where we don't get any import charges. Highly recommended, packaging is by far the best around and I get my CD's usually within 3/4 days after ordering.

They play 'In The Dark' at least twice a day on the radio, yes it sound like bloody Nickel****. Totally put me off the band, plus that awful cringeworthy chorus of 'she like's to do it in the dark'...

Pulled my Don't Tread CD out today and to my surprise found a CDR also tucked inside. Turns out to be the 11 songs from the Uprising DVD, no idea where or how I got it. I also remember seeing a pro shot Japanese live show from the second album tour, 50 odd minutes from memory, but couldn't find it anywhere on YT.

I don't think it's as bad as you're making it out to be. Some small writing on his guitar? Besides if the guitar is so vintage, fragile and rare, what the hell is he doing taking them out on the road in the first place? Surely those kind of guitars should be left at home or the studio?
