I was interested to hear what bands you think have survived the test of time or have come out sounding close to what they did back in the 80's or early 90's, my picks: Honeymoon Suite Trixter Aerosmith Iron Maiden Helix Asia Beggars & Thieves Billy Idol D-A-D Lita Ford Loverboy

I always liked these guys, great albums, no filler and highly underrated. Any word on upcoming shows or new music?

HOT wasn't that bad, everything since just never had that sound that the first 3 had, would love to hear a return to the early days.

No backing tracks at all...1:41 drumming doesn't match what I am hearing Actually now looking at the video several times it looks like it might not be synced properly although sounds a little too good, but just my waste of time opinion :)

I thought AC/DC did a great job along with ELO, good to see some "real" rock acts on the otherwise waste of space awards show.

I hear he is working with Beau Hill again, I always wondered why bands don't go back to working with the producer that made them hit it big in the past. I believe allot of these great producers are still working today (Mutt Lang, Keith Olson, Mike Stone, Tom Werman, Bob Ezrin, Tom Allom, Max Norman, Ron Nevison, Ted Templeman etc.) anyway if it's not broke...

Since the topic is in the air, what are some GOOD remastered albums from the 80's & 90's hard rock era?

Maybe a pay per view is in order, lots of people think they can do better but have no idea what it takes financially and the man hours to put this thing together and keep it going, be grateful Andrew & MR exist and stop your whining and complaining! Happy New Year Andrew & keep up the great work!
