Love Hinder but wasn't too much of a fan of Austin. New line up will be interesting. Looking forward to it As for the WTTF album - I did actually like it at first but got bored with it really quickly. Gill

Not at all surprised. And as I said on another post - I couldn't have gone to the Glasgow show even if it went ahead as not ready to hear someone else sing Jimi's songs. Not yet anyway. Gill

I love Myles but I don't like his style of singing when he is with Slash. Its as if they are trying to make him sound like Axl - although why anyone would want to sound like that is beyond me. But his vocals with Alter Bridge are amazing. Just worry he's going to get burnt out with all the constant touring with both bands :-( Gill

I was just saying that earlier to my pal. I've been to many Firefests and could kick myself for not going the year that Jimi played. He was probably the only act on the bill that I would have really wanted to see. When I heard about the Survivor UK tour next month I said I was only going if it was Jimi singing with them as wasn't sure what the line up was at the time. Then heard it was both.

Absolutely gutted. One of my all time favourite singers and thought I was finally getting the chance to see him next month in Glasgow. There has been many passings over the last few years in the rock community but this time I actually had tears in my eyes on the drive to work this morning. Gill

I was hoping to like it and it started off ok but yeah the drums ruined it. The original is still one of my all time favourite songs Gill

Seen him many times and he definitely rocks. More so than some rock shows I've been to. Been a long time since he played the UK and don't expect him here anytime soon :-( G.

Haven't heard the Savages yet but did hear Angel and didn't like the sound of that at all. It had a strange `pop' beat to it Hopefully the rest of the album will be better Gill

I would love to see this show over here. No-one said he was in the same league as Freddie - who is? But he's a great singer. Would people treat Adam differently if he hadn't been on American Idol? You better believe it! Gill

For me - it depends on the venue. I'm only 5ft 2 and nothing worse than being at a crowded gig and not being able to see a thing. Everyone is taller than me! So given the choice, I will take seated tickets over standing just so I can see the show. And if everyone around me stands - at least its tiered so I can normally still see Gill

In my opinion most of the artists on the bill could do with a little help from fans. I would have thought they would have been flattered. But who am I? Just a fan who buys music and goes to concerts - what do I know. Gill

You would have thought that the artist would have been glad of some free publicity. Its not as though anyone on the bill is selling out stadiums. Not cool at all Gill

Recorded it at 1am this morning (UK time) so looking forward to watching it tonight. I watched all seasons except for the last one - got bored. But I think the break has helped and the fact that its only 12 episodes. Gill

Will give this new season a try. Gave up with it in the last season but had enjoyed the very early ones. Might be better in the 12 hour format. Gill

I saw Alter Bridge there last year the day after I saw them at Glasgow's new Hydro and the sound was much better at the Phones 4 U arena. Certainly not impressed with the Hydro - especially as its a purpose built concert venue but the sound in Manchester was great. Gill

I'm a huge fan of this band but wasn't impressed by that at all. Although I did hate Lowlife when I first heard it and love it now. Gill

Wasn't much of a fan of WT but promised my brother I'd go. He had made me a playlist of songs most likely to be played so I was familiar with some of it. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. But definitely prefer the newer stuff. I've never been much of a fan of high pitched singers so some of it was a bit much for me. The band were very tight and they were impressive. Disappointed
