But has she seen what Doug Aldrich looks like? LOL!! I guess that puts paid to any Revolution Saints dates. Jack had mentioned in an interview that they were talking about UK and Europe dates later in the year but with Deen's carry on now and Doug playing with Glenn Hughes then thats that. Not that they would have came to Glasgow anyway but might have travelled G.

Any 1990 - present day Skynyrd songs (unless promoting the album) Only cater to the die-hards and not the new(ish) fans. Not everyone loves the classics but a mix of old and new would be ideal. Gill

Love the new album. I didn't think much when I just heard some clips but now that I'm hearing the entire songs - its great. He has really grown as a singer since the first album. Going to see him on Monday night in Glasgow - can't wait Gill

A couple of ok songs but a bit boring otherwise. And the sound quality isn't that great. I didn't rate Winkler as a great singer although some people think he has a distinct voice but now on hearing the new album - they might be right. Very average sounding album and I fear its the end of Hinder Gill

with regards Skynyrd - I only go to see them as Johnny Van Zant is my favourite singer. It does really annoy me though that they don't play any of the songs from albums that Johnny recorded unless the tour is to promote that particular album. Its a shame that Still Unbroken etc will never be heard live again. I know a lot of people want to hear the classics but makes you wonder what the poin

You should check out their Paramour Sessions album from a few years back. Thats what really got me into them. Not a fan of their earlier stuff at all but Paramour Sessions is their best IMO. I prefer FEAR to the Connection which I got bored with really quickly. Great live band. Saw them last weekend in Glasgow and they never disappoint. Gill

I made the trip down from Scotland and I was so glad I did. One of the best shows I've been to in a long time. For a band that have played together for 30+ years (well most of them) they still looked as though they were having fun. And where does Jack Blades get his energy from? Yes the delay was certainly to do with the meet and greets. I was fortunate enough to be put on the m&g guest

Love Hinder but wasn't too much of a fan of Austin. New line up will be interesting. Looking forward to it As for the WTTF album - I did actually like it at first but got bored with it really quickly. Gill

Not at all surprised. And as I said on another post - I couldn't have gone to the Glasgow show even if it went ahead as not ready to hear someone else sing Jimi's songs. Not yet anyway. Gill

I love Myles but I don't like his style of singing when he is with Slash. Its as if they are trying to make him sound like Axl - although why anyone would want to sound like that is beyond me. But his vocals with Alter Bridge are amazing. Just worry he's going to get burnt out with all the constant touring with both bands :-( Gill

I was just saying that earlier to my pal. I've been to many Firefests and could kick myself for not going the year that Jimi played. He was probably the only act on the bill that I would have really wanted to see. When I heard about the Survivor UK tour next month I said I was only going if it was Jimi singing with them as wasn't sure what the line up was at the time. Then heard it was both.

Absolutely gutted. One of my all time favourite singers and thought I was finally getting the chance to see him next month in Glasgow. There has been many passings over the last few years in the rock community but this time I actually had tears in my eyes on the drive to work this morning. Gill

Seen him many times and he definitely rocks. More so than some rock shows I've been to. Been a long time since he played the UK and don't expect him here anytime soon :-( G.
