Quoteardian but EUR 40 for a CD only? I think you misread something with the Queen CD.. the way I figured it´s also just 20 Bucks for that Album alone - 40 would be the "Sponsorship Package" with your Name mentioned in the Booklet... and yeah, for someone who used to spend huge amounts of Money on those Japan only Valentine Imports back in the day 20 EUR could be considered an ac

World Upside Down is probably their best sounding album sonically but this new one sounds fine to me. Might be my favourite HOL album but then, I'm not into the 'AOR by numbers' that lots on here seem to like. ..naah - While WUD was really good sounding,it never could reach those High Budget Monsters SAHARA + DEMONS DOWN from back in the day production/sound wise! the new one however is a

Quotealex just sit down for half an hour, record away, keep some sort of structure and come up with great stuff... well, that would describe my usual Routine of WRITING Music - just jamming away, coming up with random ideas on the fly and recording it all.. and then later listening back to it (on my own) seeing if some great ideas/structures where captured by coincidence that I might be us

...back when it was released, I remember being pretty underwhelmed - but now years later and holding it against the (to me) terrible sounding MONSTER and the way too calculated SONIC BOOM I came to apreciate it much more... its still nowhere near a true ´Classic´ but out of the 3 Reunion Album its definitely the best by far.

Quoteharald I thought he has a deal with Frontiers for Europe and Polydor in Japan? AFAIK the one with Frontiers was never a multi Album Deal & the multi Deal with Polydor/UNIVERSAL Japan was basically completed/fullfilled with the Release of ANDROGENIUS and not renewed since then. btw, that ´Valentineproductions Page´ is not considered THE new official Valentine Website... its more m

QuoteWhen Can Man awakens I'm sure he can help you out... ...LOL - I see what you did there ;-) and to Alex... yeah I know what you mean - I also use to take loooong creative breaks without even picking up the guitar resulting in torn up and blistered fingers when playing again since my skin wasnt used to those sharp stings anymore :-D But technique wise I never seemed to ´loos

Very sad news indeed :-( ...even before I got into MelodicRock etc... I was fascinated with songs like TRAGEDY and especially Robin´s Solo Outings from the early 80s - still diggin´ tunes like JULIET, ANOTHER LONELY NIGHT IN NEW YORK or LIKE A FOOL. and all the "Second Coming" BEEGEES Albums from 1987 on where pure Pop/Melodic Bliss anyway... was lucky enough to see Robin perfom

Full of good spirit and not afraid of making fun of themselves + that Singer really had me lauging at times with sheer comedic quality ;o) in their case even the ´amateurish approach/execution´ adds to the flair of the Video... so, whats not to lo

...they better had BOB MARLETTE produce/co-write the album - since Marlettes signature Songwriting AND Sound was THE on defining element of Battle Lines AND both STORM Albums btw... so, since they sorta ´employ´ Marlette anyway right now with the Sebastian Bach thing - why not throw a Shitload of Money towards him, give Ramos + Chalfant a call and let the 3 of them create a TRUE new STORM Fo
