Melbournes always had a incredible live scene. i was wondering if anyone knows if a book exists about the 70's and 80's where it was at its peak. wanting to read about the early gigs of aussie crawl, ac/dc, dragon, cold chisel, etc. need help please?

Announced this morn on australian tv. They played last show last night and announced to the crowd it was their last, and they are going seperate ways. personally, i love INXS, were great in the 80's/early 90's, but they never got over Hutchences death, and never could hold a firm singer, although i loved JD. JD was the only one worthy. 35 years is still a great margin in longevity.

I've heard its a whole new storyline and unrelated to the other movies. Its focussing on all new Characters. Its set 30 years or more after "Jedi" and none of the characters that we've seen will be present. This is just what i've heard..... Clearly if this is true, I wont be onboard. We need to see Luke in it, C3PO and R2D2. I doubt Harrison Ford will return, even if Han Solos

I heard today hes touring here soon, but cant find nothing on the 'net. A mate saw Steel Panther and said they were handing out flyers saying Corabi is touring with Eric Dover in his band. Has anyone heard anything about this? Nothing on his website either.

Theres some footage on youtube but not these songs. I need to clarify my memories correct. This was one hell of a gig. A setlist would be apreciated.

I'm gutted. Best band in recent years. I'd love Kurtis Dengler as the guitarist, hes only 22, fresh and great at blues and hard rock. it sounds like Joe has/had the problem here and cant commit. just a shame its happened before the new albums release.

Daves never been a great singer, but hes a character and thats what drives his performances. They are great live these days, and Wolfies even moving around on this tour (which he was'nt on the last tour).

I just got Shirley Strauchans new biography by Jeff Apter. A great read of such a great man. I've been reminiscing by going back through their catalogue, listening to "Living in the 70's" and "Ego is not a dirty word". Great ol' 70's rock. "Carlton" and "Love on the radio" are my 2 fave tracks of theirs....
