Anyone got any info on a possible release of a cd by Erik's Power Pop group "The Fiday Nights"? I remember Andrew saying about 18 months ago that the cd was near ready, but no official signing to a record label. The music on the Myspace page was very cool, and defo deserves to be officially released. Here's hoping.......

I must admit that I thought "Doom Metal" meant those growling vocals. Now I do have a liking for unorthodox and what some describe as shite vocalists (Uli Jon, Lemmy, Ozzy, Gary Moore and Hendrix), but I can't listen to the growling. It's just not me!!!!!!!!!! Anyway I thought I'd give some "Doom" a listen..How suprised was I with Avatarium..The first track I listened to

Good call...I was a bit late to them...My first album was Two For The Show. I proper played that double vinyl too death...I still listen to the cd version on a regular basis and it still gives me goosebumps. Ah memories memories... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8ZJyyXxYGU - Mr Universe. When the album was released it was only £3...3 bloody pounds...That was cheap even in 1979. Bernie was class on the guitar. Mr Universe was a fantastic album...The good old days.

I really like it...I wasn't expecting much without Hughie, but was really surprised how good it is...Loads of guitars, which for me was what made the Outlaws more rock than country. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvJBwBYohSU
