Ah memories memories... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8ZJyyXxYGU - Mr Universe. When the album was released it was only £3...3 bloody pounds...That was cheap even in 1979. Bernie was class on the guitar. Mr Universe was a fantastic album...The good old days.

I really like it...I wasn't expecting much without Hughie, but was really surprised how good it is...Loads of guitars, which for me was what made the Outlaws more rock than country. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvJBwBYohSU

Mate, Hmmmm....The "Stereo" thing has been bugging me for a few months. Turning the Sonos on it's side is just not an option as the unit has a curved back and wouldn't be easy to keep upright, and all the weight is in the bottom of the speakers to keep the unit steady when playing. So I am not even considering that..... Now the two Sonos units in one room scenario..... I can

Mate, First I will say that I have always had big as in size Hi-Fi sytems. Rotel Amp, Tannoy Huge floor standing speakers, Rega deck, sony cd player and Sony DAT deck. But the time came for it all to be packed away and moved to the loft and I had to drag myself into the 21st Century with the new tech gear.....Sniff sniff...It gutted me!!! So I had a similar dilemma about 6 months ago.I wan

Wow...Woody...1995...Shocked...I really thought you was an old fecker like myself or is it you was a born again rocker? Mine was Camel 1978 at the Liverpool Empire on the Breathless Tour...Not very rock n roll, but quickly followed by Rush and Hawkwind and Motorhead. Them was the days!!!!!

Hmmm...I think Niv means Barnes and Van Zant should get back with Peterik to write some top tunes...I maybe wrong!!! My only gripe is why not a double cd and ditch the "Medley" approach of bunging a minute of some damn fine tunes together and cramming as many songs on a single disc as possible...annoying!!!!!!!!!

Jack, I did check em out. I found the Lick to be very "Rolling Crowes"...Good but not essential...I need to give em more of a chance. I liked the Holy Goats a lot more and will at some point check em out properly. Keep the recommendations coming, they are always much appreciated.

Jack thanks for that about Silvertide...That explains it...Another record company who can't see a good thing even when it smacks em in the face. How many good/brilliant albums have been recorded or demo'd and then shelved because of record company dickheads?...I'll bet it's hundreds. Lets hope Taddy get to album 2.

The Thanos has just been on "Radio 5 Live" in the UK (National Talk radio Station). He was on for being a massive fan boy and collecting 20,000+ autographs. He was asked about legends Sly, Angelina etc etc, but he chose to try and promote a new cd by the band "Ten" called Stormwarning that has just been released in Japan...Fair Play. But the presenter cut him off and called

Robby. Here is some info from another Youtube video by Side Effex which is a cover of a LeRoux song - Lifeline - Sound quality is awful, but that appears to be a bad transfer from a poor quality video: "Evansville based 80's rock band Side Effex (1986) Song: LeRoux's Lifeline. Featuring Beth Bullock-vocals, Greg Golden-vocals/keyboards, Robert Wolf-keyboards, Rob Hoffman-bass, Jerry Fowler

Good call...Where are you Steve? I remember seeing the band a few times and I always thought the talcum powder in his hair thing he did was awesome...I was very young!!!! They deserved more than the two minutes of fame they actually got.
