I'll contact you (and you too Terry :)) if I ever find both songs on any other format than vinyl. I know the band is proud that their new album is out on LP, but in my opinion it's a very frustrating decision that the bonus tracks are exclusive for analog format only.

Btw...just listened to the samples. I know they are very short but damn, now I want them :( I love FM instrumentals and the title track sounds good indeed.. looks like it's a Jem Davis synth solo, probably. While Love and Hate sounds better than Somedays I Only Want to Rock and Roll, or perhaps some other songs on the new album.

Ah..thank you for the links. I went to the juno site but didn't notice there are samples on the page. If the 2nd new song is a b-side quality then it doesn't matter if I miss it. I actually didn't buy the Japanese edition of Metropolis because I think the bonus track Kissed by an Angel is as good as the main album materials. Still, there's an FM completist in me who wants to have everything LOL

Terry, in case you didn't know yet, the vinyl version of Heroes and Villains has two exclusive bonus tracks: the title track Heroes and Villains, and another new song called Love & Hate. It's interesting that the LP has the most goodies compared to the CD (even the Japanese CD bonus tracks are not exclusive, they are from Futurama EP). Bad news for me though, cos I don't and probably won't ow

No, you're not the only one here. I am also a Praying Mantis fan. To be honest I was disappointed when they parted ways with their previous singer and drummer. "Sanctuary" was their best album in years, in my opinion. When they recruited the two Dutch members, I was skeptical that it would take away the 'British feel' of the band. However, I must admit that JJ does sound great and now I

I was very excited when they released the video for Turn Back Time.. what a song! I immediately thought the CD would be a must buy. But all the excitements disappeared when I found out who wrote the songs, and who produced them. Let's hope next time they write the songs themshelves and use someone else to produce the album.

LOL... btw, the new FM is a must buy, I'll buy it blindly actually :) I still haven't decided which versions to buy... the Frontiers version or the Japanese version with the two extra tracks (although I already have the bonus tracks on Futurama EP CD..call me crazy :))

yeah, I agree with that. "Sound of the Radio" has a classic Bryan Adams feel that I just love. To those who decided to give it a pass due to Aldo's weirdness, please do give this song a try, at least.

Ha! Didnt even bother to read the press release, but it was obviously Andy Barnett on Firefest 2007 (and his weird hair, and weird guitar sound too). Btw "Life is a Highway" is a cracking song indeed!

Hmm...which one? :) I think there are several very good tracks on "Nothin' But Trouble" (We All Fall Down, Save My Love, Runaway, etc) but as an album it's certainly not as good as the debut. Agree with Andrew that it's a note to note perfection. In fact, I would rate it above Sykes previous album (Whitesnake 1987 album). Rarely listen to 1987 these days, but still listen to Blue Murder

Cdjapan.co.jp.. there are three different versions in Japan.. regular version (presumably jewel case), limited edition mini lp/cardboard sleeve version and limited edition plus t-shirt. All versions have the bonus track, but none of them has the DVD (exclusive for Frontiers limited edition only)

The song "Slave to Love" from Boys & Girls is a classic, love it. Bryan Adams' guitarist Keith Scott played the middle guitar solo on this song. Not sure about his other albums though, I have some of them but it wasn't as good as Boys & Girls if I recall correctly.

Always love "Gemini". At first listen to that song I thought "Wow, sounds like Jon Anderson, only much, much better" :) "Days Are Numbers (The Traveller)" is also another old favorite of mine... beautiful song indeed, arenenan. Here are some of my other favorites that featured Chris on lead vocals. Camel "Cloak and Dagger Man", perhaps the most hard edg

Carl also sing with the Geezer Butler band in the 80's (Jimi Bell of House of Lords was the guitarist back then). I think they never released an album but recorded some demos, including a few songs which would later appear on Black Sabbath "Dehumanizer" album.

I seem to recall that there were indeed wrong pressing for Rapture, but I couldn't find a link to back it up. It was the first pressing, there were correct CDs and there were also incorrect CDs. I still do remember that when I ordered the Rapture from musicbuymail, I was hoping that my copy would be the right pressing (yes, thankfully I got the correct CD). This post was probably related to th

I am a Mari Hamada fanatic actually :) I've just bought her 30th anniversary concert blu ray.. not cheap, but who cares?hehehe. Nozomu co-wrote two songs on Mari's last album "Legenda" (which features Akira Takasaki, Michael Landau, Gregg Bissonette and more). I think Nozomu's album is only released in Japan and Taiwan, so if you're a Rob Rock collector then you'll need to import it an

Better get the Japanese SHM-CD remasters instead. However, I noticed there are two live bonus tracks after the Marching Out album. I might be wrong but I think these two have never been released on CD previously. JSS on vocals. I believe I've heard both on a cassette.

Rob Rock sings on 3 songs on Nozomu Wakai's Destinia debut album. If you follow the Japanese heavy metal scene, you will know that Nozomu is backed by some top Japanese rock/metal musicians here. The other vocalists are Yukio Morikawa (Anthem) and Masatoshi Ono (Galneryus), drums by Satoshi Miyawaki (Mari Hamada).

Another similar release is this one... from the pre-Perry period. I'll avoid both. Bootleg for sure. http://www.discogs.com/Journey-Live-Into-The-Future/release/4626655

They have only released two blu-rays... "En Vivo" and "Flight 666". The rest are all in DVD format. For a casual fan, I think "Flight 666" is a good one.
