Some of the bonus tracks are very nice to have (the new version of Let Love Be The Leader, the new song Running On Empty and also the previously vinyl only bonus track Love & Hate), but the other bonus tracks were previously released on their EPs. I'm a bit disappointed due to that, just like what PJayBe feels. In my opinion they should have added the other Heroes & Villains vinyl bonu

No, maybe InToronto refers to newer reissues. However, looks like it's digital only reissues. Just go to amazon.com and search for Blanc Faces in digital music section, you will find the debut there with the Japanese bonus track added. The release date is May 2016 according to the description (which indicates a reissue)

Well, if the description is correct, then only the first two albums have new 2016 remastering. Hysteria has 2006 remaster as source, while Pyromania and Adrenalize has 2009 remaster as sources.

Thanks for the link to the interview! Nice read. I didn't know that Andy Timmons was in Bad English briefly before Neal decided to finally join the band full time. Cheers!

Terry, it's definitely not CCM. He was more into Boston and Styx situation than Kansas, LOL. It was some other guy, well, anyway, let's hope this trailer shuts him up hahaha.

8 times? That's a lot of listen LOL. Have to agree with everyone though. This one sounds fresh, I'll take this over Somewhere to Elsewhere, just for a quick comparison. One observation, the guy besides Ronnie Platt looks like Steve Morse (LOL)... is it David Ragsdale? Also, I'm wondering where is the person here who seemed to be very pissed off back when Kansas announced to carry on with Ro

Darren wasn't in Black Star Riders, although he co-wrote on one of their songs. He was/is in Thin Lizzy only, technically.

I'm sure it will be available at the usual retailers soon. This one's cheaper, I think. The shipping is free too if your total order is USD 23 (or EUR 20). http://www.grooves-inc.com/product_info.php/products_id/2097532953/currency/USD

Good call on both.. Airplay is a classic indeed. Metropolis is one of the best albums on MTM Music label. Let me add another favorite of mine from MTM: Fake I.D. "Dreaming Ezekiel" And another one (not on MTM of course): The LA Cowboys "Endless Summer"

Jason, are you sure? The new guitar player is named Jordan Ziff (the young man with curly long hair.. https://facebook.com/jordan.ziff). David Michael Phillips (David Henzerling) is still with them of course. If you've visited the band's facebook page, they simply say that "The Official King Kobra is Carmine Appice, David Henzerling, Johnny Rod, & Paul Shortino". I didn't know they

Thanks for the report. Funnily enough it's the King Kobra performance that got me really curious.. I mean, how bad could it be? Went to youtube and ouch, Iron Eagle... https://youtu.be/sXBNAHL_x4E

It's an original song by Wharton/Dews.. not a cover of same titled song from a female artist from late 90s. Only 2 covers (Emerald and The Flame) and 2 remakes (King of Spades and Return the Heart) on Arc of the Dawn

FYI, the original price on the OBI of the three MC remasters is JPY 1800, or about USD 17. I just wish that those Japan only remasters were more easily available.

The band seemed to like to switch between Terry Date/Mark Dodson during their first four albums (Terry Date for the debut and Blessing in Disguise, Mark Dodson for The Dark and The Human Factor). I love the raw and aggressive sound of the debut, but the sound in BiD is just wrong. As I said before, these 2013 Japanese remasters are already out of print, but if you want to hear them, you can f

The first three albums were remastered and released only in Japan on 2013. These are very hard to find though. "Blessing..." sounds a little better in its remastered form compared to the original. It's the mix that's quite horrible. Excellent songs on that album, of course. And for Badlands 2015 version, to Eric, you can find it on CD on the limited edition bonus disc (US only) of th

Good to know that it's not a throwaway acoustic bonus track. Right now I am still waiting for the package from CDjapan containing this album and also Riot Unleash the Fire Tour Edition (produced and remixed by Bruno Ravel too). Btw, I found the acoustic bonus track from Revolve. I previously only heard a short sample of it.. but I wasn't impressed so I ended up buying the US edition instead. T

Yeah, I also saw these videos last week. I'm glad that the user uploaded the complete set of The Defiants. The video quality is not the greatest, but the audio is really good for an audience recording... very listenable, I think. People who went to the festival have said that Paul was on top form vocally, well, they are right. What a voice! "Dorianna" is just stunning, gotta love the t

Try Handbrake. It's free. Don't forget to read the online tutorial. Regarding the protection, you will need another software to bypass it. I think Slysoft's AnyDVD is commonly used to bypass the copy-protection.

I'm not sure if the Martin twins are involved in the next First Signal album. If you like their songwriting, don't miss the 2nd and 3rd Khymera album (A New Promise and The Greatest Wonder) because most songs were written by them.

Thank you for the link Shade! I'm actually surprised that the beginning of the song is something really familiar to my ears. I have another version with Dennis Stratton on lead vocals, on various artists CD called "England Steel vol.I - Start Em Young" (assembled by Lea Hart who wrote Miles Away and bunch of other songs). There is also another version with Paul Di'Anno on lead vocals.

I am a bit crazy in this one. I ordered all three versions of the album because each has different bonus track(s). The US 2CD version has already arrived yesterday, next is the European and Japanese editions. As an old MC fan, the return of Mike Howe is something very special. Let's hope he will still be in the band for the next album... I don't want Ronny Munroe back again.

Actually Nalle wasn't a part of the band back in the 80's. He joined the band when they reunited for the Weapons of Choice compilation (on the two brand new songs) and also for Coup de Grace album of course.

The new one is great (extra credit to Paul Logue who co-wrote some songs and also seem to be the huge supporting force throughout the making of the album), but the previous one might be 'samey' in the song variations.. just be careful :) I did enjoy it when I first got it, now it's different. I prefer the 2nd album although nowadays I can only enjoy half of it (some of the remakes, from JSS, Don

I don't have the Magnum new album, but sometimes the audio on a DVD is not a CD-quality audio. For example, Pretty Maids It Comes Alive DVD has 192 kbps (stereo) or 448 kbps (5.1) audio selection, which is below CD-quality audio standard. So having the bonus songs on CD (for Magnum new album Japan edition) is a better thing for album listening experience. Another case of CD buyer being screwed
