If I'm not mistaken it's produced by the band and mixed by Jay Ruston (who also worked with Anthrax, Adrenaline Mob, Steel Panther etc) Sounds very solid indeed compared to What If.

So it's better than "I Get Weak", "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" and all her other classics? Surely not. Auto tune everywhere too.

About Glenn Hughes solo... we're all refering to "From Now On", right? Great album indeed and never been topped by his subsequent solo releases. But his *first* solo album is actually Play Me Out, from late 70s... I love it :)

I guess I'm lucky cos I always have nothing else to pay other than item price + shipping cost whenever I order from CDjapan. My last order from CDjapan was two Blu-ray, which costs above US$ 100... this is definitely the kind of package that the custom usually charge, but guess what? I only had to pay small tip (about half dollar) to the post office guy who delivered the package to my office. We

Your version is printed in Spain. Locomotive Records is the label who handled Frontiers releases in Spain. Mine is the regular Frontiers version...which said Made in Italy.

Please correct me if I'm wrong... but Heaven & Earth 'Dig' might be Joe's first full length studio album. He mostly did live gigs with tribute/cover bands..Holy Diver (a Dio Tribute) is one of them. Of course he is also with Steve Priest's Sweet, but basically it's nothing different. In early 90s in Japan there are some albums featuring LA session musicians covering Japanese popular songs, t

The reviews are there... just re-fresh/re-load the page. The 1st new review is for Heaven & Earth "Dig" album. One correction though... Kelly Keeling was the singer on the 2nd album, not Kelly Hansen ;)

Andrew, Apparently the album has just been reissued as deluxe edition by Cherry Red. It's 2CD set with all the b-sides, remixes, etc. I've been looking for the non album b-side "In All Honestly", glad it's finally released on CD. I'm gonna order this even if I already own two different versions of the album (US and Europe versions, 10 and 11 tracks respectively) http://www.cherryred

They released one DVD from the Metropolis tour called "Live in Europe", which is taken from various shows across Europe. Unfortunately it's already sold out on their website. I'll be getting the retro tour DVD you mentioned, it's the "Indiscreet Live" DVD which will be released on April 1.

Perhaps that's why it's called "Made in Japan", not "Live in Japan" ;)

Had to check Youtube for some of the tracks you mentioned. "Eyes on Fire" sounds familiar at first, especially the opening piano intro...it's indeed the same as "Eyes on Fire" on Treat "The Pleasure Principle" album. Love it! :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDZ10PRV8zs&list=PLE2D74D39895C0BE7

Btw Terry, you have to get the limited edition with two bonus tracks. The last one, Castles Burn is a great fast paced rocker, very influenced by Rainbow. Check out the guitar/organ duel...

It's a great album Terry. You'll love it, for sure :) David Readman does some great Coverdale style vocals here... sometimes it's too similar that I almost think it's Coverdale himself, LOL :)

Great to hear Goran in melodic rock style again... I used to follow his projects in the past, but more recently it's mostly progressive or neoclassical metal..boring. Interesting that Covered Call picked Saxon's obscure song "Hold on" (from Dogs of War) for their 2nd album. It's one of Saxon's most melodic moments :) Covered Call actually also covered Mr. Big "Shine" on their

Yes, Chris was one of the Producers, but he left the them before the album was released. Some of the catchiest tunes I've heard recently on the DBA album..

Nivek, are you aware of Geoff Downes collaboration with singer/songwriter Chris Braide? He's the guy who co-wrote Clay Aiken's "Invisible" (and possibly other pop hits as well). Sounds fresher than current Asia... it's described as 'prog-pop' or 'Buggles updated'. Very unique IMO. The album "Pictures of You" was released about two months ago, but it's a bit unnoticed I think.

All of their albums are also released in Korea, with the Japanese bonus track included as well. Still much cheaper if you have to own it with the bonus.

I received the CD last week. It's a bit weird that "Shot in the Dark" is still credited Osbourne/Soussan on the booklet. The FM version is obviously closer to Wildlife original demo than Ozzy's well-known version. The lyrics are very different too. I had to change the composer tag to S. Overland/C. Overland/P. Soussan when I ripped the CD to my iPod. Rainbow's End is very good b-side

Yes, it's Jacob Bunton from Lynam on vocals, who wrote most of the songs on the album (Steven wrote nothing here). The album is apparently produced by Jeff Pilson, who also played bass on all tracks. Songwriting credits, etc: ADLER - Back From The Dead 1. Back From The Dead (Paul, Pilson, Bunton) 2. Own Worst Enemy (Paul, Bunton)
3. Another Version Of The Truth (Bunton, Paul, Pilson) â€

Some people here seem to enjoy this album (and also the Soleil Moon albums with Larry King on vocals)... but sorry, I just can't get into the vocals at all. Agree with you Figge, it's rough indeed. Same reason I can't enjoy vocalists like Paul Shortino (too rough for my taste).

Jesus Saves should've been included... although we'll need to edit the rambling intro first :) In the old days I used to do this self-made compilations regularly... actually I did on cassette, not on CD. However, with the arrival of the digital era (MP3..) I think it's pointless to do this kind of thing anymore. Just load the albums to the MP3 player and then create your own playlist from your f

Apparently Jorn is not the only who left Masterplan. If you go to their website, it's also announced that they have new bass player (ex-Stratovarius) and new drummer too (from Cradle of Filth). Only Roland and Axel remain from the first official line-up.

More samples here Terry: http://www.amazon.de/Music-From-Another-Dimension/dp/B009T52FLO/ref=dm_cd_album_lnk/279-4986607-4560867 The ballads are tracks 4,7,9,11,13,15. 6 out of 15 tracks. The album does seem a bit too long at 15 tracks (and there are 3 more tracks on the 2nd disc of the deluxe edition). 3 ballads are enough, I think.
