Huge fan from hearing Rocks ..... Loved all albums up to and including Rock In A Hard Place. Post 'clean up', outside writers etc ......Nada. Over polished, overblown and bland to me bar the (very) odd track.

Had tickets and a room booked (Old Bridge Inn next door) since forever. Sadly had to bow to recent illness and miss it. Gutted, as saw them there two years ago, and they were fantastic.

It certainly is .... the second wasn't as good, but still better than many. Had Collen not been poached, and the rock fans a little more tolerant of their image (one that ironically was easily accepted a few years later) they could have gone further ....

Agree with the op's list ... but will certainly add Goes To Hell, and a personal fave in From The Inside to that 70's list. Didn't like his 'mekkul' years .... but the garage sounding Eyes Of Alice Cooper, was a real return to the old days ....

First heard of them when Alan 'Fluff' Freeman (R.I.P.) played them on his Saturday Afternoon Rock Show (Not 'arf!) It was the live Harvester Of Eyes from On Your Feet .... loved it, and caught them on their first UK tour at Manchester, Free Trade Hall. (And again in 78 which introduced me to another all time favourite, when Japan opened for them ...) It was the first time seeing lasers being u

Difference in the situations were, Pellers knew from day one he was basically a stop gap until City could get their real wish list target ... Pep. He was apparently kept informed every step of the way during negotiations with Guardiola and his representatives. Yes, announcing it early affected the team, as many (Especially Toure, who Pep had disposed of once before already) knew they were t

Yup .... huge fan here mate! (Joint best band out of Oz with The Church for me) Loved them since Stoneage Romeos debut .... followed them ever since. They can be powerpop, rock n roll and heavy too when they wish, especially great live ... Sadly they don't get over here (UK) too often, but always try and catch them when they do ...

I recall being in London with an ex 1982... walking past the Dominion Theatre ... and saw the sign outside saying 'Tonight! From USA, Prince' .... I said 'Heard he's supposed to be pretty good ...' and walked on as we were meeting friends .... Damn. Best album in years for sure ..... Blood Red Lips sounds like a long lost 70's Chinn/Chapman song .... pure Glam feel .... opposite end of the spectrum is All Strung Out, which sounds so contemporary and modern. Then all points in between are touched with Do You Believe Me? which they first played in 1976 .... Roll Me is a typical CT rocker, Long Time No See Ya, despite starting with a real 8
