Well that just sounds like a slow motion version of Def Leppard. Makes Katy Perry sound like Mozart.

Yeah, really good band. Good for those chilled moments. They were recommended to me over at the Dream theater forums.

Probably only Dream Theater these days. Don't have enough spare cash to waste it on substandard albums. I'll listen on Spotify or Youtube and if it sticks I'll buy it.

Good lyrics add an extra to the music but I don't need them to enjoy it. And most of the bands these days writing melodic rock songs are writing in their 2nd language so I'm inclined to cut them some slack. If they are seriously bad it might put me off, but if the rest of the package is quality I really don't mind.

Great stuff. They've heavied things up but kept the melody. Their last album is one of my favourites this century.

The only two tracks I would have swapped out were Shattered Fortress (not a 12 Step Suite fan on the whole) and On The Backs Of Angels (worst song on ADTOE). And I&W has been played to death. Its refreshing to see a band avoid playing the same old same old just because its expected.

Loved the setlist. Far better than last tour. James LaBrie was just awesome. Pretty much musical perfection for me last night.

If Steve Perry could still sing we would have heard something from him in the last 20 years.

The main one for me was Vain's No Respect. Had never heard of them and took a punt. Well worth it.

But they did it over a far longer period. And not when it was the fashion either. Interesting that in the 80s when they were considered less popular the sales were still comparable. These stats are just the US I take it?

Does Maria do an Ozzy impression too? Joking. Looking forward to this. Jake is a music hero of mine and I've missed the guy.

Awful display throughout. Spineless. And it doesn't look like there's much coming through either. I see a spell in the wilderness again. The Aussie batting 1-5 wasn't great but Haddin bailed them out time after time with some guts from the tail. We even made Mitchell Johnson look good. And I've got major humble pie to eat cos I didn't see it coming. Essentially the same team given a hiding

Got it on red vinyl on release and was pretty underwhelmed. It's grown on me over the years but it was too soft. Liked PiP much better.

I like PC on the whole. A couple of clunkers, especially the awful ballad. Paul Stanley's stuff stands up as always.

I only heard it after hearing Weight Of The World and Higher and whilst it is a great album i don't have that attraction and adoration many have. And I hate the "train noise" verses to Change Comes Around. Makes me cringe everytime.

You would think they'd never seen fast bowling before. Serious lack of bottle displayed.

We do like to cock it up in the first batting innings of a series. Only saw the highlights this morning but there looked to be alot of bodyline going on... Our batting is definitely the weak link. The bowlers do their bit then the girls let them down.

Andrew Wrote: > Not in this realm of reality :) Gotta love completely misplaced confidence. It's only 2 months since you lost 3-0. What's changed since then? Oh yes, Mitchell Johnson is back! Saying that, our batting line up is always fragile and we're a bowler short. Could be tough.

Can't argue with his first 4. After that they were poor, Lock Up The Wolves and Strange Highways especially.
