In a word...boring. Everything real soft acoustic based, some electric but nothing that jumps out. Almost him doing his best Bob Dylan.

Sorry that song did nothing for me. Nothing that grabbed me and again seemed like George refusing to riff or solo.

Yes thanks but these all ship from japan and are listed as good-very good. Haven't had much luck with international items. Those that know me here know I don't steal music. But I bought that new and sadly its out of print. Also its an OK concert. Just want it to have it back in my collection. Now the TS show was good.

I had a pair of Monster Copper Turbines for over 2 years and loved the sound! They don't make those anymore. They were expensive at the time 200-300 US. Any recommendations?

My point exactly! And this genre is struggling. I would rather see 8-10 killer songs! Makes you want more. Makes you play it over and over.

Goes back to my AC/DC reply and my feeling on "vinyl mentallity". This is a real good listen. 8 songs doesn't bore you. Your in your out and you want more! Even if some like only 6 songs, what happens with these albums with 12-15 songs? If albums those size lose me on a few traks I'm out. Good move Dave!

Actually like the fact this album is short. Play Ball as with anything AC/Dc doesn't reinvent the wheel but the last few albums were flat for me. Play Ball, whether it's the production or something else, gets my head bopping and I could see this song on any classic AC/DC album fitting in. If the rest of the album is good it will do what albums (with the limits of vinyl) used to do.....make you

That's one thing young people will truly miss. I used to go to Zig Zagg in Staten Island every sunday. Buy 5+ CD's and chat it up with the guys that worked there and also those shopping. We sampled music and got hooked into new artists. I swear if they served beer I would never have left lol

gooch...I love this record! Sure nothing new but a real good listen. Cashing in? Perhaps. Doug.....your thoughts here. We all love/miss the old album experience. The Doobie's still are a great live act. And I do think the well runs dry. I would prefer instead of live or GH that if they could make one or two good songs just release them. While "Dangerous" was on the Brotherhood

I know Dokken isn't a major draw as in the day but for "80's artists" you still have to promote yourself and even though small Dokken helped Sean expose himself. Good guy mind you. He did a good interview with the Classic Metal Show a few months ago, check it out. Many music projects, performing with other artists, Sons Of Anarchy. Mark has been touring as a backup singer. Never r

This is why I kinda prefer an EP or a single release. I think a lot of these older artist and many new ones have 1-3 great tracks in them and the rest just fills a CD. I know the market is still up in the air. There are those that want the album experience (which I miss as there are not that many released)and those that prefer a single released here and there (which I find I get into the songs

While I have not attended many friends from around the country have commented and in NY they played a small theater. Granted they still made money but yes not the same drawing power as Iron Maiden. Is it because IM albums seem to be more consistant? Do you think Notrodamus had anything to do with it? Don't care if they move or not....I don't as much lol. While I think ROS is WAY to long of

For those who love Floyd try this band out. They have 2 albums (like the first better but only 1 spin in on new one). They show there love for Floyd, a little heavier but all the signature sound.

I'm a huge Floyd fan (Gilmour era) and I'm not excited about this. Many artists have in recent years went back to the vaults and reworked old pieces of songs. I'm all for that. But with Floyd people like the long intrumentals but they also have vocals. Aside from the one vocal track I'm out. What Gilmour should have done "for the fans" and a tribute to Richard were to take there piec

I think they deserve some blame, at least new contracts. Older bands that the labels still own there stuff from the 80's can't do anything. I would hope new bands who are more involved in social media see fans don't like this and make some sort of deal in a contract if possible. I mean both artists and labels bitch about downloads, the subject of first releases then deluxe never came up? Ano

Not to get into a debate over digital vs CD but I think the trend is leaning toward digital. Not sure if either of the above mentioned bands are with a label but for and act to make money album wise they don't need a label, maybe just set up distributing and get the lions share of money from ITunes, Spotify etc. Though if they are going it alone I think a limited run of physical CD, say 500-100

To each his own but the vast majority of albums out today contain 12-15 songs and a lot are filler. Now I have just previewed the UC tracks on ITunes but I like them. So I'd rather have 5-10 great tracks and want more. Now if the next batch are good then its worth the wait for those wanted the full thing. Also with so many releases attention span is short (another big problem in the industry)

I agree with you with older aged band members not willing to tour to low numbers to build and audience.
