Everyone's feelings and situation are different. For me it was years ago when I moved in a small apartment from a house (back in an apartment lol). I needed space and didn't have room for 8 CD towers. So i ripped all to lossless and sold the hardcopies. Today I will buy remasters of the CD's I bought way back. Currently collecting the VH remasters. But since then as the tech got better I l

While I do buy most digital you would think with zero overhead of producing the physical copy digital should always be cheaper.

Apple already has a streaming service called Apple Music. Pretty good but I'm entrenched with Spotify. They said they are not stopping sales. Even if they are selling less to put it up on their server doesn't cost like hard copy so they will take there sales. But I shop mostly thru ITunes and won't spend more than $9.99 new. The new Neal Morse was $19.99! And right in the reviews they menti

Sorry if this was discussed prior. I bought the Blue Ray at Xmas and started watching yesterday. Visually this is great! Nikki and Tommy look great and even Mick is mobile which I'm happy to see. But Vince vocals are God awful! At first I thought i broke my new soundbar. All i can say is don't bands go back in the studio and redo stuff. He seems to actually say every 3rd word. Grunts th

Glad you mentioned his solo work. I love Babylon AD. The second album being my fav. Then when grunge hit they disappeared. Derek then did a project called Moonshine (which I have those songs clean on CD) which was a southern rock feel. Great stuff. Moonshine later became Laidlaw without Derek. So I love his voice on the 2 BAD and Moonshine and when he released his first solo release I wa

Richard....this is a great album. And I'm just listening via Spotify at 320k. You mention you have the vinyl. As a person returning to vinyl, is it worth it? Meaning we all know about compression. Was this recorded in analogue or just ripped from the studio digital source to vinyl. It seems from what some say here that "new" recording on vinyl are really a waste so to say as th

I still do 90% Itunes, 5% CD remasters and 5% vinyl...or close to this. For me with vinyl I mostly want what I consider classic albums from my youth. Reissued in 180 gram. Recent purchases were Iron Maiden NOTB and Pink Floyd Animals. So killing time on Amazon I see VH DLR era remastered on CD and vinyl. Anyone have these? Sound opinions on both versions? I have the original pressing of

And part of that vinyl sound is the CD failure. Back in the day albums that we consider classic and sounded awesome had 8-10 tracks. With CD I find a lot of filler. These days when I preview on Spotify when I see an album with 10 songs maybe running 35-45 min I get excited.

OK I have all my music directed to an external drive. Christmas I bought a WD My Passport Wireless to have my entire collection on the go. When it displays there is no artwork. I look around and I see the ITunes art folder is in My Documents/Music/Itunes. Why is that?

I stored my turntable but at Christmas I found a piece of furniture for it. I have an Audio Technica USB Turntable with its own pre amp going into my B&W Zeppelin. I enjoy listening to music regardless of the cost. Its one of those things if you grew up with it you "get it". But i also have only purchased about 10 albums, minus 2, are classic albums recorded back in the day

lol.....I never saw him so the jokes were new. Guess if its like you who has seen him its like your dad saying "did I tell you the one.." Yes dad about 400 times. Yes his voice was weak. But in the venue I saw the band didn't play very high so it was passable. Still enjoyed my night and was worth it to me as another part of my childhood is gone

Laugh if you must but we all know a ton of this guys songs and he was the shit in the late 70's early 80's. He is doing a Farewell which is truly a farewell as his voice and body are fading. He recently has knee replacement that hasn't healed so he hobbled and sat a lot. He did sort of a retrospect of his career. With that he still pulled it off. It was very emotional listening to him than

I understand why you like them and how you rate the albums. Its where we as individuals start off with a band. But I think if you had grown up with Aerosmith when they started then you may see it different. I think they are great but there are some clunkers along the way. I see it like this with P.V. onward.. Permanent Vacation - Excellent (ever so slight higher than Pump for me) Pump - E

That was horrible! And the reason I haven't watched the telecast since the mid 90's. I was so excited recently to see Lionel Richie going on tour I would have spent anything. Then I saw she was on the bill....never mind

Sorry for the delay return. ROCKDOG....read your reply and shot right over. Put the $15 CD in and hit checkout. Then it has a "!" and the message reads "If *** the desired quantity not available". So they don't have it.

I only ask on here for rare bonus tracks as other do. But does anyone have this CD to share? It was on Spotify a while back and I went to buy it the other day and its off Spotify, not on ITunes. Also ebay and Amazon legit copies start at $50 US! Yes there are the $13 Russian but I won't deal with that. So if anyone could send me this album until its reissued I'd be gratful

Ok I live in an apartment and can't have full 7.1. I did buy a Bose SoundTouch 300. I am very satisfied with the sound. The only issue I have is connect ability. I have a TV, Cable box,PS4 and my WD Live. Thing is this soundbar has 1 hdmi and optical in. Sure I can switch out the optical and use whichever component I'm using at the time. A few years back Sherwood made a unit that you could con
