and also as far as rock goes the suits think we want the same 3 songs by the same 3 bands. With so many choices you need people that actually love music making changes not people who just know how to make money....and it seems they didn't do that either

iHeart radio might die. Spotify blows it away. You can add 100's of songs to a playlist that blows away anything they do. Plus you can play full albums. As far as small internet radio goes I love Munichs Hardest Hits.

A few years back I was wearing a Dream theater shirt and this 18 year old said they are great. He had an Opeth shirt on and i asked about them. Like you I LOVED the music and once that vocal kicked in I was lost. I will listen to the last few via Spotify

found it. My friend had asked for a copy as these are long out of print and VHS. My error was in burning it. I think I made 10 DVD copies in the last 10 years. But I had the setting to Main Movie not Full Disc. Brain fart.....thanks

I'm enjoying the samples on Itunes and will buy this. The music would fit in with a set list but Big Prize is hard to beat. No band really never can but this is good stuff. If you read my posts I'm someone that would rather have 5 good tracks then 10 with filler. The live tracks here are filler. i would have prefered to see them "re-record" some old classics so they have control

I had made a copy years ago but the file is lost. I know there is a site some have used here to buy bootleg DVD. Or if someone has this and could send it to me via dropbox in .Vob form that would be great.

Same tired argument. CD vs Digital. I buy mostly digital except for Andrews CD's and new remasters. I grew up with vinyl and still buy the classics albums. And when I listen to an entire album via Spotify I get the same experience on my Ipad looking a pic, boi's lyrics of an album. I do agree we did get away from "listening" to an entire album. But there are many factors as to wh

I would transfer it if I were you. I'd split the cost to get a copy off vinyl. But I have and they are not that expensice turntables that go USB to your computer. A good was to get all your rare stuff saved. I have the Audio Techninca...it was about $250. Nice

The big issue i have with these projects is they never see the light of day for a tour, even a handful of dates. So it floods the market for artists that will tour when their record is released. Yes its a real good record! But out of all the Frontiers projects this actually "should" be able to do at least 6 regional dates in the NY/NJ area. Ted and Steve live in NJ. Greg must

Anthony I'm from LI also. Randy does a lot of solo acoustic stuff and sounds good from what i hear. Agree with the pledge thing. Funny off story. When I moved out to LI 7 years ago I was moving stuff for a few days myself and was passing a house around the corner and saw this long haired guy and I thought he looked familiar. Turns out its Randy's house. Then about a year here we needed a si

I don't see it, legal at least. I looked on HD Tracks and not there. As far as ITunes they started 128 and then you had to pay to upgrade. Then with the cloud you could upload and then when you downloaded back to your harddrive it was 256

Are there any left? Also when it comes to vinyl I buy reissued classics because they were recorded the "old school" way. I think new releases that are digital at their core are a waste. Did I read correct that the new Mecca was recorded analog? For lack of a better description has that old school sound on vinyl Anyone have it on vinyl....how does it sound?

Everyone's feelings and situation are different. For me it was years ago when I moved in a small apartment from a house (back in an apartment lol). I needed space and didn't have room for 8 CD towers. So i ripped all to lossless and sold the hardcopies. Today I will buy remasters of the CD's I bought way back. Currently collecting the VH remasters. But since then as the tech got better I l

While I do buy most digital you would think with zero overhead of producing the physical copy digital should always be cheaper.

Apple already has a streaming service called Apple Music. Pretty good but I'm entrenched with Spotify. They said they are not stopping sales. Even if they are selling less to put it up on their server doesn't cost like hard copy so they will take there sales. But I shop mostly thru ITunes and won't spend more than $9.99 new. The new Neal Morse was $19.99! And right in the reviews they menti

Sorry if this was discussed prior. I bought the Blue Ray at Xmas and started watching yesterday. Visually this is great! Nikki and Tommy look great and even Mick is mobile which I'm happy to see. But Vince vocals are God awful! At first I thought i broke my new soundbar. All i can say is don't bands go back in the studio and redo stuff. He seems to actually say every 3rd word. Grunts th
