I'm agreeing with you about the new Krokus,I am liking it more after a few spins and the sound is great.I wasn't real impressed with the samples I heard but am glad I decided to finally get the cd.They also added a little humor to the cover and other pics in the booklet. Denrocker

Doug was always underrated until he was in Dio and Whitesnake. The Holy Diver DVD is essential.Lion Trouble In Angel City,Lion Dangerous Attraction,BMR S/T and Blood,Dio Killing The Dragon,Burning Rain(both),and Dougs solo cd "Highcentered" are all worth having IMO.Can't wait to get the new Burning Rain next month. The debut was great and I also liked Lost Cathedral (Japan version).I saw Micki Free play in a small club in the 90's on the Gypsy Cowboy tour and he signed my S/T cd.There were only about 75 people or so and a highlight was when he played Hey Baby(New Rising Sun).I have the latest cd by Micki Free called "American Horse" and it's worth checking out.You can buy it on ebay or Amazon pret

Glenn Hughes was on rockline and said he is to make another rock album.Hopefully another similar to "From Now On" or in a classic rock form. You can still listen at rocklineradio.com.Joe Bonamassa is better off doing his own thing and the new acoustic show is a perfect example.Joe has worked hard to be where he is today and those that don't like him well "To each his own".I did

I really liked Rock The Block and Hellraiser as well as Hoodoo but from the sound samples this is a step back from all of these. The song quality isn't there and it doesn't rock like the previous 3.Fizzly Dynamite? Denrocker

The 1st S/T album he did was a decent listen but nothing great,he had some of the George Lynch sound in his playing. It was a mix of half instrumentals and half vocal songs. He has a new one coming out this month titled Lyons And Lambs, will have to check it out. Denrocker

An absolute classic and monster.UFO played in Chicago at the Vic Theater on this tour and sold out 4 nights in the same week. The 1st show to go on sale was Friday night and sold out in less than a half hour.I missed out so I called the venue and talked to someone named Walt Klein about how bad I wanted to see this show.About 3 days later I had 2 tickets in my mailbox and sent him a check for $40.

I'm thankful Glenn and Joe put a band together because I never would have expected them too.Joe plays more hard rock in BCC which is a break from the blues, can't say it's boring.Glenn is a legend and has been going strong for the last 20 years putting out a lot of material. It's not all great but most it is quite good.If they were to call it quits I'm grateful for the music they made. I saw Blackberry Smoke Thursday at a small club in Urbana,IL and they delivered. The show was better than I thought it would be and they played about 8 songs from the new cd for over 2 hours.Amazing how many die hard fans there were in the midwest.Charlie Starr is a great frontman and plays a mean guitar (or guitars) as he had more than a dozen changes throughout the show.Southern Rock is still al

I would start with You & Me that included Jason Bonham and has the Zeppelin cover song.Joe came up with some great riffs and his playing was phenomenal. Then I would check out the Live From Nowhere In Particular and Sloe Gin.The new one is the best thing he's done since Sloe Gin.Definitely go see him if you get a chance. I have had a couple of Kenwood amps from the 80's and they sound great with a good equalizer.I bought a 80 watts per channel KA 74 brand new for about $200 which got damaged by lightning. It only knocked out the phono input so I had to use a phono pre-amp.A few years ago I bought a KA 94 on ebay which has 120 wpc and my lps sound great with a very clear sound.I can highly recommend both units espe
