Oh yeah, Faith is awesome...not sure why I forgot that one. The song Faith and Rock Ready are both standouts.

Personally, I prefer Lost Cathedral to the debut, but the debut is great. I also like a number of tunes on Destiny Unknown, so that may actually be my 2nd favorite rather than the debut. Not sure between those two.

Have been waiting since last year for them to put something out. As much as I love Brett Scallions in Fuel, I really liked the cd they did w/Toryn Green and because of it, ended up buying the cd he did w/Something To Burn. At any rate, hopefully he'll put something out soon.

it'd be great if somebody could rip the live Shinedown tune and the unreleased demo from the site and turn them into mp3's an post....I am looking fwd to the new cd...own all of their stuff, and it's good. Just hope it's a little more rocking than they've been recently.

Yeah, I heard it's the same w/the singer from Atreyu who does both vocal styles....again, it just frustrates me as I feel it ruins the songs. Obviously, there's a certain population who digs it, so I guess that's why it's done, but I've got to think that in the end, it hurts sales and will have a short shelf-life, as again, I can't see what it adds to the given songs. Anyways, thanks for the in

Am always interested in new music, be it modern or classic, so chkd these guys out, and you're right....the "main" vocalist does have great vocals but I will never buy this cd due to the guy doing the growl vocals. Those vocals completely ruin any chance of purchase. I still don't understand why certain bands add in these growl vocalists as they add nothing to the songs, and as I said

While Mesh Stl was good (Maybe Tomorrow), I think Modern Day Zero were great. Loved the harder edge and it's a shame that they called it a day. I think it was centered around the singer's decision, and if so, I hope he resurfaces someday as I really dig both MDZ albums, and the Mesh Stl one released on the major label as well.

Completely agree. In fact, I could've cared less about Europe in their "glory days", except for Superstitious, however, took a shot on Start In The Dark, and loved it so much that I bought Secret Society right when it came out, and ended up going back and buying some of their older stuff. Others here however will disagree, and have plenty of times, and don't particularly like the new

Does anybody have this show on mp3? I A) forgot about it and B) didn't realize that they were going to play that many songs live.

I have Kong...great song w/Jack Russell prominently featured in the chorus. I'd gladly post an mp3 (well, it'd be an mp4 as I've loaded it into my iTunes) of it here if you'd post your Crazy World track, as I don't have that. I think there were a few other different tracks released on maybe the European version that I'd love to get as well.

Just picked this up last night, and am not even through my first listening of it, and it could just be the timing of when I'm listening to this, but wow, this is a really good cd! I definitely think it's better that Songs From The Sparkle Lounge....good stuff! Their band name is still gay as ass though....

Thanks as well....love the last 18 Visions cd (and some of the prev cd is ok too), and this is definitely more in the vein of the last one, so can't wait to get it.

I've definitely thought of it....Sebastian Bach's Frameshift cd, An Absence Of Empathy cd comes right to mind....I just felt like Henning Pauly made things run a little long, or overdone on a few of the songs, such as Blade and I Killed You (on this one, they ran through the chorus like two times too many or something)....anyways, don't know how to do it other than put it on a cassette without th

I'm going to buy the new solo cd, as I'm sort of a completist for artists that I follow, and see that I can buy a physical disc for about $20 or so, from different outlets, but can get the disc for $10 by downloading on iTunes. I'd obviously prefer the phyiscal disc, but wanted to see if the booklet is worth paying double, as I've bought some discs for the booklet, etc, only to find that it suck

I agree w/that Benno. While I like the album, it is more of the same old/same old. Favorites are Southern Girls, Hunt You Down and Forever And A Day. Again, not a bad album, and as Peter said, they have their brand down, but w/the last two albums as a whole, I think that somehow missed the momentum that had been building through Survival, which I agree is their best album.

Thanks for the infot Snake. That's actually not bad for a grade update. The item itself seems really cool in it's abilities...I just didn't want to buy it and have it not be functional. I think that most of files, which I've imported through cd's, are fine. I do have some purchased ones that I think are not compatible, but a very small percentage of my overall library.

I have an extensive music library on my iTunes...about 30k songs at this point, and I've got them all in certain playlists, smartplaylists, etc, and I've attached album art to the ones I could find it on. I'm considering purchasing a SONOS system as a home solution to getting my music throughout the house. I know that it won't play the protected music from iTunes, but that's not a big deal as I c

What's the Walmart download? Is it a song not on the album, and is not on the Best Buy version? Does anybody know if the Best Buy version has bonus tracks that others don't? It's a pain tracking down which store's version to get these days.....

Saw Kip last week at the Extreme/Kings X show in Boston, and asked him about Winger, etc. He said that he's done the Blackwood Creek (or whatever it's called that he's in w/his brother), and will be mixing it in the fall. He said his current solo cd will NOT be released in the US w/bonus tracks, and the bonus tracks it would be released with in Japan are all stuff that have been previously rel

Why don't you ask the girl to ask Paul when HE'S planning on releasing some new material of his own. Since his break w/D2, he's been pretty quiet outside of the III release, which only had a handful of songs sang by him. I think he's got a great voice and would love to get a new cd.... let us know what you find out....

...speaking of, when the hell is Mitch Allen going to put out his solo cd, or another SR-71 cd? I feel like he's gotten to the point where he doesn't see the need to do his own stuff anymore, unfortunately, as SR-71 got better and better w/each cd as well...

Are you kidding me....their last two cd's, and parts of the one before that, have been awesome!! Seriously, their style totally chgd since the debut, which is what I think you're referring to w/the thought that they're too shouty. Anyways, you should chk out some of their recent stuff....it's great!

Definitely good stuff! Truthfully, for whatever reason, I didn't have high expectations and was actually completely surprised. Comparatively, it's definitely better than Smile (not that Smile was bad, but all in all, it didn't measure up to Collateral Damage) & the Melodica/Poley-Pichler, but not better than Collateral Damage....I was surprised at the edge it had, especially after Smile.

Hmmm...I like it. It's not great, but I do like it, and DO think a couple of tracks are really good like Tomorrow Never Comes, the TwentyFour Seven remakes, It's All In How You Wear It, and the Rolling Stones cover. Give it a few more spins Benno. Again, it's not great, but I definitely dig it quite a bit....

Beautiful Creatures actually had two cd's, though the 2nd wasn't nearly as good as the first. I can't wait for the new Shinedown....one of the best new bands out there, and the vocalist simply kicks ass!
