I'm a big fan of Within Temptation's "The Unforgiving" and recently I discovered another great similar Dutch band, Delain. This is their new single "Stardust": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ubi1m5pR3hM And my favourite song of Delain "We Are The Others": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lZGhh41W9k Any other Delain fans here?

I've never been a big fan of Stryper, but I love Michael Sweet's first solo CD. For me that is easily the best thing he has ever done. I still play that CD regularly and my favourite songs are "Someday", "All I Wanna Do (Is Love You)" and "Together".

The Best Buy version of Night Ranger's "High Road" has the exclusive bonus track "Don't Even Know your Name". Here in the Netherlands we don't have Best Buy stores but I would still love to hear that track as it's supposedly one of the best ones on the album. Hopefully someone can help me with this.

The new website looks great and the lay-out is a big improvement. I only think that the new website is less user friendly than the old one. The reason for this is that you now have to click on "read more" to read every bit of news, even the "in briefs", while with the old website you didn't have to click, but you could just scroll to read all the news. I can understand that on

Nobody (including me) thought they had a chance against the reigning world cup champions Spain, but then our national team beat Spain 5-1. An unbelievable and well-deserved result with amazing goals and play from Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie (who are among the best players in the world IMO). I know it's just the first match, but it's one I will never forget.

Very interesting comments by Arnel about Steve Perry: http://www.classichitsandoldies.com/v2/2014/06/01/journey-singer-arnel-pineda-says-steve-perry-should-come-back-to-the-band/ These comments by Arnel show what a great guy he is. He is not thinking about himself, but about what should be good for Steve Perry, the band and the fans.

The truth is that Bobby Kimball's voice has been terrible for many years now, but despite all the evidence on Youtube people kept defending him and kept saying that he was still a great singer. All he does on stage nowadays is drinking water all the time and let the audience sing almost almost every chorus. While the audience does his work, all he does is act like some kind of cheerleader. It's a great album with not one filler, one of my favourite albums of 2014 so far. Every song has a great melodic chorus and the singer is very good. They changed their style completely with this album, but especially the choruses are still very melodic. For me "Renatus" is much more consistent than their previous albums.

I've seen them all and I enjoyed every season. 24 is one of my all-time favourite series and I always found it very impressive how they succeeded in keeping the tension so high during every season. I am very much looking forward to the new season, although it's a pity the new season only has 12 episodes.

Opening band Crazy Lixx played a good set and there were notably more people on day 3 than on the 2 previous days. The songs from Crazy Lixx's 1st album ("Blame It On Love" and "21 Till I Die") got the best reception. I enjoyed Issa's set. She has a good voice and a very good backing band. My favourite songs were "Angels Crying" and "I'm Alive" from her

The female singer of opening band Adrenaline Rush was great to look at (a beautiful girl performing with not many clothes on), but she isn't a very good singer. They didn't play any memorable songs, but I have never seen people taking so many pictures. Moonland also has a female singer (Lenna) and visually she was the opposite of Adrenaline Rush's singer. Lenna performed with glasses on in a s

I only saw the last 2 songs of State of Salazar, but especially their last song "All The Way" sounded good. Dalton did a good job and I thought their set was entertaining with songs like "Caroline", "Go For It" and "Love Injection". Three Lions started well with "Holy Water" and "Hold Me Down" and I also liked their last song "

So, Kip Winger openly stated that he can't and won't write songs like that anymore, but he obviously didn't have a problem to sing and record such a song. How ridiculous is that? If you hate a certain type of song, why would you then ever want to record it?

Great news that the Jimi Jamison's 2011 concert will be on Rocktopia, because that is my all-time favourite concert. I loved watching the W.E.T., H.E.A.T. and Vixen shows that I sadly missed last year.

I listened to this album twice and I can't understand how some people are raving about it. For me this is a boring album with almost no hooks or good choruses. I will never listen to it again. And I didn't like "Pull" either, that other "masterpiece" that many people on this website rate so highly. Boring music with a very average singer, that is what Winger is nowadays IMO.

Great CD, but not as good as "Address The Nation" IMO. There is not one bad song on this CD, but I'm missing absolute killer songs like "Breaking The Silence" and "Living On The Run". I would rate it 8,5/10 and "Address The Nation" was 9,5/10 for me.

It seems that Europe, apart from the first 2 songs, has finally put together a decent setlist again. Maybe they finally remembered which songs made them so succesful.

So far, this is my favourite album of 2014. Every song is very good to great, there are no fillers on this album. Especially the choruses are great. I know this is a metal album, but every song has a very melodic chorus. I'm very impressed with the singer too. The previous Dynazty albums were a bit hit and miss for me, with "Land Of Broken Dreams" being my favourite song. Now they compl

I totally agree, it isn't Styx without Dennis DeYoung. The same goes for Journey without Steve Perry and Foreigner without Lou Gramm. IMO most of the classic bands of the eighties are now nothing more than glorified cover bands. Every band has essential members that can't be replaced. For me Styx has 2 of those essential members, Deyoung and Shaw. Journey: Perry and Schon. Foreigner: Gramm and Jo

I like the first single, but these 3 clips are very disappointing. Especially the first 2 clips "Get Up And Move On" and "Bang" are very mediocre songs. Well, not even mediocre, these songs are just bad. When Steve Lee died, Gotthard not only lost a fantastic singer, but they also lost their best songwriter. I was just playing the fantastic "Lipservice" record and th
