It would also be great to have a remix of the Thin Lizzy Live/Life album. Some great performances on that one, especially when all the past guitarists get on stage, but the mix is not so good.

Hi Carl I assume you are on Windows 7? Anyhow try this..... Right click on the drive E and then click Properties / Security (tab) / Click Edit / Click Add / Type Everyone / Click Check Names (it will underline) / Click Ok / Click the check mark next to "full control". See if that helps. You might need to do this under safe mode if you can't access the tab normally. Cheers

I thought the original masters for this one had been lost in a flood, or maybe I'm wrong? Is this a new remaster from vinyl? Love this record, would appreciate any comments on the quality of this release before I commit to buying. Cheers Scott

My mistake Dave, nothing to do with the song on Terrys solo cd, but the demo on the walk in the fire cd still sounds nothing like mr brock. Scott

Hi Just took delivery of Strangeways - Walk in the Fire remaster from Rock Candy. Sounds fantastic, but my question relates to the bonus tracks. Jackie Gone demo, states it was recorded with Terry Brock for the 'Walk' sessions, but this doesn't sound like Terry to me, more like the singer on the other 3 demos, Charles Bowyer. I thought Jackies Gone was re-recorded by Brock on his latest sol

Enjoyed the night in Glasgow, Foreigner great sound, setlist and a fantastic singer and frontman. Journey had a muddy sound, which was really poor for the first three or four songs, got better, but still muddy. Thought the setlist had too many newies for the length of set and could have done with some other classics, not just the ones they've always played since they came back on the UK scene. Ar

Hi I'm thinking about parting with the cash for one of the Melodicrock.com regular style t-shirts on the front page. Could Andrew or anyone who has purchased one give me an idea of sizing? I'm normally XL but just wanted to check the chest measurement before I ordered. Ta Regards from Scotland Scott

Hi Neil I used the Freecorder toolbar for Firefox, worked a treat. Ended up with 55 minute mp3 of the concert. Freecorder basically just records what's coming through your sound card. Cheers Scott

Hi, yes I have received mine, which I ordered in April 2009! They apparently had some issues with the preorders done through paypal. If you send an email through the contact us at www.danreed.com they should sort you out pretty quickly - you'll need to supply your paypal id number for the payment. This worked a treat for me and I had the cd, which was signed by Dan, within a few days. Hope you ge

I'm getting a bit confused, I have tickets in hand to see Dan Reed full band at Rockers Glasgow (date changed from March to May) - now I see on Dan's website he is playing King Tuts in Glasgow March 1st with Tommy Denander and Rob Daiker in his band - I don't want to miss this line up, but is Dan playing both March & May in Glasgow? Cheers Scott

Hi Guys, thanks for the replies. I am not looking to spend any money as I'm hoping just to run off 3 or 4 T-shirts for the party - just for a bit of a laugh. Mick, you're right, I'm thinking of a font for the band name and if it came with a mascot then all the better. As it's just for a one off party I was hoping that someone might have a picture of a cartoon penguin exploding, that I coul

Hi I know this is a long shot, but....my best mate is having his 40th party and the idea is everyone dresses the way they did when they hit the rock disco in the 80's - except most of us have a lot less hair!! We had a terrible band at that time which never made it out of the bedroom, but I thought it would be a great laugh to 'reform' for the party. But we never got round to designing a logo.
