Simply comparing songs, I don't think the Todd-Ryche songs I've heard are necessarily any better than the Tate-Ryche songs...it's just that Todd-Ryche is trying harder to sound like Queensryche than Tate is. Forum: Noticeboard
I don't think that's live...I think they're miming to a playback to film a video.
A- Todd tells everyone to scream and act excited even though they don't know the song and...
B - there is a rhythm guitar underneath a two-part guitar harmony at the beginning (3 guitars) when there are only 2 guitarists on stage Forum: Noticeboard
What's funny was both he AND Gary say the same thing..."Eddie said I was in then I saw them w/ DLR on TV"...somebody was getting lied to. Forum: Noticeboard
Q2K is better...but there are a handful of decent/good songs on FU...just not enough to warrant repeated listens from me...sad, as I L.O.V.E. everything up to and including Promised Land... Forum: Noticeboard
I like VH3...saw them on that tour too and they rocked it! As was stated earlier, it's not a perfect album but there are some very enjoyable songs on it. Forum: Noticeboard
The local used shop already has 2 used copies of FU in stock...but they're both $9...I'll end up getting it eventually, but I'm not paying any more than $5 for it... Forum: Noticeboard
I actually recall Rob saying he'd gladly perform Owens-era songs as they are part of the history of Judas Priest and he honors that history...then he never did it. LOL! Forum: Noticeboard
Years ago, aspiring guitarists would bring their guitars for him to sign...being the 80s, early 90s, they'd bring Jackson, Charvel, Ibanez, etc....he'd always sign "Play Fender, Yngwie". LOL! Forum: Noticeboard
The one time I saw him, he did not come out to meet people...instead, he stood at the door of his bus, thanked everyone as a group for coming, then said he was sick and if we wanted anything signed, we had to give it to his manager who would take it in the bus for him to sign (it was cold out).
