I doubt Brian Johnson could sing any of these Bon Scott songs...

Not really excited about any of these songs to be honest. Yes, it's better than that plodding mess that his previous 3-4 albums have been, but he sings every song exactly the same way. I dug out some of his earlier stuff, in particular the Ark albums, where he sang with a lot more feel and variation. Now he gives every song the exact same heavy vocal treatment. Talking about just going through th

I was fairly critical of this, but hats off to Axl, I think he does a fine job and those old Bon Scott songs sound really good.

Nickelback are one of the best live bands out there. I've seen them on their last three tours and every time was great. They don't have a huge show or production, but the sound quality and power was incredible.

I follow Lynch and Pinnick on IG, they knocked this thing out in a couple of weeks. Really psyched as well, still play the first one a lot. Terry, I know we both like a good and clean production and that first KXM is one of the best sounding albums in years, especially the drum sound is epic.

Great photos indeed, it's really weird to see Micky Dee up there. This gig must be a vacation for him compared to the Motörhead stuff.

They're okay but not quite as good as ToaDM. And ToaDM aren't quite as good as Nickelback. Which sums up the state of modern rock. We're now down to 3rd generation bands simply cloning what's been done much better. Sounds familiar?

I saw them on the tour with Aerosmith and they were incredible. Yes, Don sounded fine. He was never the greatest live singer, but he sounded much better back in the day.

They should go on tour with TNT! ;-) Cool, but I'd rather have Jeff singing those songs. At least they're honest about only doing it for the money.

How sweet it was to see Puntin having to congratulate the Canucks! Not sure how happy he'd have been congratulating Finland considering Russia's somewhat frosty relations with Scandinavia and the Baltic countries.

Well, I would be one of them, but I doubt there would be a lot of interest for them as a touring entity.

Shows you the predicament most of these bands are facing and the sad state of the genre when someone like Tony Harnell can't get a solo career or any other project going because most fans only want to hear "10000 Lovers" and those other old 80's hits. Same applies to TNT who cannot get that old horse going without him either.

If you think LVG let them play boring football, wait until you boys have Mourinho. He'll just paint that bus red and parks it right in Old Trafford.

Atrocious video clip. Like seriously. Why not just do a lyric clip?

Interesting. I love Shirley's blues production jobs, including JB's stuff and others (Robert Cray comes to mind) and they sound all very good, in particular the drums. It's the Europe and Journey records that have that aweful muddy sound, which begs the question if the bands had some saying in that as well. He mentions Dave Cobb, who gets that monster drum sounds out of Rival Sons, but the latest

I'm sure there's a bigger chance with Leicester winning the Champions League than Styx tourin Down Under.

Good songs but I'm really struggling with ze accent. Didn't bother me that much in the early Bonfire days, but for some reason I have less tolerance for heavy accents nowadays.

Kudos for not coloring his hair, I think he still looks miles younger than most of his contemporaries. Vince Neil, Stephen Pearcy, Bret Michaels anyone? I wouldn't be surprised if the next album sounds fresher than anything they've done in years. If you change the songwriting dynamics and write with new people, who knows? The same applies to Richie Sambora. Can't wait to hear what his new alb

Is this actually true? I read a story somewhere that Ozzy thought the hairdresser is Sharon who was away for a few weeks. When she returned, he thought Sharon's a Sharon impersonator. Hilarious.

I think it's more likely Leicester winning the EPL again next year than England coming anywhere close to winning the European Championship. ;-)

Wow, what an absolute corker of an album! Sonically not quite as crispy and crunchy as the previous Slamer album, but the songs are far superior, at least to my ears. This thing drives from the first to the last track without ever slowing down. Really great stuff!

After a day and about 5-6 spinnings I must say this is a MONSTER and will be one of the best albums this year for sure. DJ Ashba really owns this, just some reat riffing and the songs are super melodic. Their best for sure!

No humping? How about "In The Dark", lyrically really cringeworthy, love the music but the lyrics are just really bad.

Yeah, Tower were always a bit more expensive. In LA I'd go to Wherehouse and in particular Sam Goody that were quite a bit cheaper, although in terms of rock releases, Tower had the best selection. It was such a fun time, every time we were bored on a Friday or Saturday night, we'd cruise over to Tower on Sunset and hang out for a while. The only thing that bothered me is that in the US, compared

I agree, overall their best yet! Not a single filler. Ashba is all over this thing. Much, much better (and heavier) than Modern Vintage.
