Funny, I thought the same thing. There's an old school hard rock vibe to this song that I really dig.

I'm a huge Sammy fan. Huuge! But first that dreadful covers album and now this.

Kris, I don't have a problem with an acoustic record, it just sounds like he recorded this thing with one microphone. Release it as a bootleg or something, but not as an official record. Oh, and I do like "Dreams", but that's about the only one.

I've just listened to the samples on iTunes. Once again I feel somehwat underwhelmed by his latest offering, all acoustic versions of some of his hits. It's completely underproduced and raw, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but to me this sounds like something he recorded on the spot in an hour along with Vic Johnson and releasing it without any polishing or mixing. I love the fact how much

Sal Costa's (ex-My Darkest Days) new project. I wasn't too impressed with the first single, "Hounds", but the other songs are incredible! Heavy 80's touch, sort of Mr. Mister meets Pet Shop Boys, huge melodies and choruses, wall-to-wall keyboards and sonic perfection. The chorus is pure Pink Floyd! Yes, the drum sound puts me off big time. Just horrible. It's clear that they want to cover all the bases with this one and reach a much bigger audience.

I've only listened to the sample on iTunes and it sounds really good. Much better production-wise as the previous one. It's melodic and hooky without going flat-out generic and chliché, which is probably the reason why it's not out on Frontiers. ;-)

I agree, I got the Japanses SHM version of CLAK last year and totally rediscovered it. Incredible album, I rate it even slighty higher than Reckless because it's a bit more intimate and the sonic quality is just absolutely timeless. Bob Clearmountain did a genius job! Into The Fire is indeed one of those records that wasn't loud and big enough when it came out. Highly underrated for sure!

Question is, can Page still write? The guy hasn't really done much since his solo album and those Page/Plant records.

Who hasn't lost their passion for what they did 30 years ago? I think this album isn't that bad with the exception of the Chuck Berry cover. That one doesn't work at all or perhaps it's because I've always hated that song.

very solid album from top to bottom, but it lacks perhaps one or two real standout tracks. But perhaps I'll find them after a couple of more spins.

Great project for sure, I just don't see a film with such a limited audience playing in movie theaters. Not to mention that this is the type of film I actually prefer to watch at home. Just my 05 cents.

Loved "Waking..." when it came out, but I can't listen to it anymore. Mutt destroyed Bryan's musical soul on this one and made it his Def Leppard/Shania mash-up. Adams never recovered from that album.

Not sure how much May/Taylor have a say in all this, perhaps it's just the label, but at the same time I do think they make a complete mockery of the Queen legacy and turning into their own cover band.

Well, I'm no tekkie, but from what I understand something that's in your cloud is not downloaded to your device. For example, if I listen to something that's in my cloud, I need to be online. If I'm not, I can't access it.

Production is awesome! Michael "Elvis" Baskette did a tremendeous jobs, just as he did on the past couple of Alter Bridge releases.

Actually, they didn't push it onto your phone or computer. You have to actively download it yourself. My main problem with the the whole thing: 1) Bono is somewhat of a hypocrite for accepting in excess of 100 million dollars from a company that has less than a stellar record when it comes to human rights and the environment 2) It sends a terrible message to consumers, i.e. music is fr

With the exception of the absolutely brilliant "Achtung Baby!", I've never been much of a fan. I did listen to the last few records and wasn't that impressed. But this album is very, very good! There's not a single filler, it flows very nicely and the songs are catchy and memorable withougt being over the top. In particular "Volcano", "Raised By Wolves" and my absolu

Really digging this! Slash is absolutely on fire, delivering one killer riff after another. Now as much as I dig Myles Kennedy, some of the vocal melodies and choruses could be bigger. Also, even though level of songwriting is fairly consistent, 17 songs are simply too much for a single record. I don't understand why bands keep doing this. It's great to get value for your money, but why not relea
