I have a bunch of the bonus stuff to if anyone is wanting mp3 of it too. As well, I asked for this (and received it - thanks again!) but there was one fellow who asked for some Styx rarities, but I lost his email address and his name. Any chance you replied to this posting?

Oh I know Don.. It seems where there is Oil, Gas and Logging revenue, there is disposable income. It seems like more smaller towns in BC, Alberta, Saskatachewan and even Manitoba are getting bigger named artists. As for the snow, yes Southern Alberta got anywhere from 10-20 Cm's the last few days!

I am two hours NE of Edmonton, in St. Paul, AB. Which the area strangely is turning into a little classic rock concert "hotspot"..(Bonnyville/Cold Lake region) In the past 3 years we've had: Nazareth, Trooper, April Wine/Loverboy/Burtin Cummings, Tragically Hip, Alice Cooper, Hedley (I know not Classic but still popular), Crash Karma, Big Sugar, 3 Doors Down, ZZ Top, and next m

I was front row in Edmonton, AB and I was blown away. I still get chills thinking about 39', the end of Love Of My Life and Adam's amazing rendition of Who Wants To Live Forever. Also glad that one of my fellow Edmontonians recorded the show from the crowd.. Until the blu ray is released, I have that to listen to!

I guess I was lucky in a sense that I got to see Jimi lead Survivor twice - In 2000 as part of the Arch Allies tour with Reo Speedwagon and Styx, and then albeit briefly, in 2001 in Minnedosa, MB's "Little River Rock Fest - That day Kim Mitchell, Survivor, and Styx were to play but a HUGE storm came in during Kim's set, cut it short and then it left. Survivor hit the stage, but about 25 minu

I'm sort of disappointed.. I saw NR with KK and he just seemed, out of place. Maybe with him being in there full time and now he's a permanent member will change my mind. Shrug.

Actually Snake, he has in the past blocked Styx from recording his stuff, it was only in 2010 that he softened his stance and let them release his material from The Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight for video release. Hence why there isn't any of his songs on the CD or DVD of Arch Allies release (other than Lady, which was owned not by Dennis but by RCA so he had no control of the rights to t

Nope, Lorelei is co written by James Young. If that was the case you'd think he'd say no to "Lorelei" as well for the video no? I'm thinking that since it wasn't a "HUGE" Styx hit (I don't believe it charted in the top 40 like many of the other Styx songs on this list did) it was not released. I think that's pretty much the only "Deep Cut" that is on that CD/

Terry, Kerri Kelli only filled in for Joel because of his commitment to TSO and that was only for the Canadian swing of dates in November of 2012. From what I've understood, Joel is fulfilling the remaining Night Ranger dates I believe until the end of Sept? According to his facebook page he's still doing a few NR shows, like the one tonight. Can anyone else clarify when he's "done&qu

Man I so wanted to see Joel live with Night Ranger when they came through Edmonton.. Kerri Kelli was his fill in. Nice guy, but you could tell he just didn't have the same "jam" with Gillis that Watson/Hoekstra had.

Thanks guys.. yes, I have Unleashed in the East! I guess what I might end up doing is start doing live "Compilations" of 2-3 cds. I could put that "live" Defenders and Turbo on one disc (it maybe 75 minutes?). I think I have my afternoon planned out now! lol I wonder if Defenders is the only CD of theirs that every single song has appeared on one of their live cds

After being blown away by the new Judas Priest CD, I have been going through their back catalog of bonus tracks, rarities, etc and such I was able to piece together a "Defenders of the Faith" live "playlist" from official live records. Defenders was the album/tape that got me into them, but once Turbo came out, I was hooked. As I was going through their vast collection,

From the Outfield Facebook Page this morning: It is with great sadness to inform you that John passed away at 09.55 on Wednesday 9th July 2014. He was 60 years old. As many of you know, he had been suffering from liver cancer for many years and bravely fought the disease until the very end. We are relieved that his passing was peaceful and painless. John was a loving husband, inspirational fat
