Obviously my true agenda here was to scoop Andrew on his front page story that I am sure he is writing as we speak about the death of the legendary Alan O'Day! Actually laughed my butt off at your tribute WITS!

If I respond to you in a negative but playful way, people will think I am seriously being mean to you and Andrew will get pissed at me again. Too many people on this board are unable to tell when I am joking... It was fun for many years though! We had some classic conversations for sure and Sammy Johns was one of them! :)

One of the great singer/songwriters of the 1970's! Gave us such hits as "Undercover Angel"

This was the combination Tommy Shaw and Dennis DeYoung shared when Styx was in their heyday! Dennis wrote the nice songs and Tommy wrote the wild songs! It was such different styles but it came together to form one magical sound!

Thanks QS. I had forgotten about this one. I just added it to the playlist along with Loving You Tonight off the same cd. (sang by Carrack).

Not sure that "deluge" had ever been used in a song before Neil Finn used it.

LOL I was hoping you would catch that! It would definitely give the song a whole new meaning! Sang from the "Jeffrey Dahmer" viewpoint! UTJ was the first song I ever liked that didn't really have a chorus! I was used to the usual song formula (IVCVCLBCCO) and UTJ made me rethink it. Incredible song! Lyrics are great also.

I never gave it a fair listen. I hated the thought of Gary singing lead for them. As much as I love Gary in Extreme, I just didn't think it was a good fit with VH. 0U812 wasn't great but I did really enjoy Source Of Infection, When It's Love, Finish What You Started and Feels So Good. The rest of the album I could take or leave it...

He was certainly a team player! Squeeze was a band that never got enough credit. Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook did most of the singing. Tilbrook is pretty good, but Difford is a world class vocalist. He and Carrack together in the same band was pretty amazing. Too bad Paul was only in the band for a short time...

It's a joke that someone like me would pull off. A while back I ran up the post counts of certain people on the board just to get everyone laughing and it only took me less than 10 minutes each time I did it. It's not very time consuming at all. The person doing it is undoubtedly laughing his butt off, especially if he is seeing people posting about it somewhere...

I was a major "Squeeze" fan back in the day. First learned of Paul when he took over for Jools Holland. Then I was amazed to find out he was in "Ace". "The Living Years" still brings a tear to my eye. I read he was touring with someone pretty major this year but I don't remember who. He deserves major respect!

Did anybody here enjoy the Richie Kotzen pair up with Bret Michaels more than CC Deville? I know technically he is a better guitarist, but did Poison lose some of their magic while he was in the band? I actually think Bret did some of his best singing ever on Native Tongue and the music seemed more well thought out. Was it because of Richie and did it even work for any of you?

Thanks for simplifying it! It was a great interview! I just opened an account on Twitter and started following Michael. To my surprise, he started following me back! Now that he is following me, I feel like I should go somewhere interesting so he won't be bored with me... LOL
