I saw Glass Tiger open for Journey in late 1986...Alan was very healthy at the time as far as I could tell. But then again, you never know what is building up in your body.

It's new news to me... And bad news... Poor John has had enough health crap. I wish he could get a break.

I liked most of the songs on that cd but my favorites are "I'll Make You Happy, Invisible Girl, Beautiful You, and Will I? It's not his best cd, but still really good in my opinion.

Rick never disappoints! Since 1981, he has never had a BAD album. Sure some are better than others, but they all have something to offer. I'll be seeing him this Saturday and I will post a much better video of this song! :) I have a great phone.

A great song is a great song and I certainly don't need a polished recording to discern that like SOME people. This song may very well be the best song ever written! It was incredible and I predict that it will be a huge hit and cause a massive RS comeback to the masses!

If Axl and Slash can mend fences, perhaps Tommy and Dennis can too! Maybe there will be a Styx reunion in our future after all!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKyycjgEfwE I had a great time tonight at the Yacht Rock Revival concert in ATL. Steve was out walking around during the first part of the show and he acted surprised that I recognized him! LOL He is a super cool guy and he was in great voice for the 5 songs he did! Stone In Love, Separate Ways, Don't Stop believin, Any Way You Want It and Lights. It wa

So those of you who insist on sticking your heads in the sand and refuse to go and see the current line up live are, in fact the losers. Obviously being called a loser is not a pleasant thing to hear. I am sorry I took offence to that? BTW, I do think LG is a great musician. And his voice might even be very good for some other band or his solo stuff. But to sing Dennis DeYoung songs, hi

Cherry Pie is the song that defines Warrant. And they should be very proud because it's freakin awesome!! Jani out did himself when he wrote that one in my opinion...

Boom! That's what I'm talking about DW! Well said!! I LOVE Babe! And so do more people than any other Styx song. That's why it is their ONLY number one hit single... The writing style differences of Tommy and Dennis were the essence and magic of what made Styx great.

I don't believe it's over for Styx. They can keep doing what they are doing, but I would rather they pull Dennis back in for a tour. They could call it the "We care about our vocals again tour" Ok, that's not very catchy, but maybe something along those lines...

Tommy is still awesome! JY is still average. Todd and Ricky are doing great jobs covering the material. And Gowan... well, I think this picture sums him up...Just kind of running around faking like a rock star to take the attention off of his wimpy voice...

That sounds like a great show other than not focusing evenly on the 80's stuff. He had some other great songs like "I'm Free" also. The 80's was his most popular time period. I don't understand why some artists don't appreciate the songs that gave them their careers more. And if they don't appreciate it, I think they should keep it to themselves instead of making all of the fans tha

I think it is so cool that Rick is getting all these accolades for his acting finally here in mid 60's! So many people always looked at Rick as a "joke" "teeny bopper" ect... and now they all have to admit what all of us already knew! He is a seriously talented human being regardless of his looks. He might even get an Oscar nod!

Yeah I was very excited about that show and I have watched every episode even though I have no idea what the hell is going on! LOL Did Colin Farrell kill Rick Springfield or just beat him up? The way the scene ended, it looked like he killed him.

What I miss is the yin and yang of Dennis and Tommy, their voices together. That band had a magic to it, and it's been missing since '99 when JY and Tommy opted to go on without DeYoung.

Not at all. I am accepting of Arnel for Journey and Kelly for Foreigner, ect... Those two singers do very respectable jobs. In Gowan's case, I don't even have a problem with his keyboard playing. He nails Dennis's parts pretty spot on to these ears. It's just his "Ernest T. Bass" stage persona and his mousey vocals.

I hardly ever post anymore. There are many topics that get brought up time and time again. This post is nothing out of the ordinary. 90% of anything we talk about on here has to be from the past because that's the nature of "classic rock." It's a genre from the past. Thus... there is a ton of repetition over the years. So I respectfully ask you to let me post once every now and the

I was trying to think of people that could handle the keyboard parts as well. It shortens the list of possible replacements considerably. Carrack at least has a STRONG voice. Maybe not the exact tone but I could live with that just to hear the songs sang decently again.
