The verses are terrible. Laughably terrible. Too bad, because the chorus is actually pretty good. Also, Bon Jovi is a 7-piece now? Who knew?

That nice little pop rock tune is your example of Bryan Adams 'rockin' out'? Is it the scream at the end that fills you with fist-pumping adrenaline? In the early 80’s I bought the Human League EP, Fascination, on cassette. The last song on side 2 (improvisation version of the title track) ends very abruptly, right in the middle of a word. I figured it was defective and returned it for another one. Got it home and it did the same thing. I was annoyed, but haven’t thought about again that until today. I went to Apple Music just now to l

Pull > Winger > ITHOTY I like them all and each one takes me back to a place and time. But Pull is stellar. Winger is very, very good. I always thought Without The Night should’ve been a hit, and Headed For A Heartbreak is brilliant. ITHOTY is decent enough but, as others have stated, the production is an issue. I always hated how the drums sound on that one.

But after the turmoil and tragedy that the band endured through Steve's death, maybe they made the right pick in choosing someone that they knew they'd be happy with and would enjoy being part of the band for many years. Maybe they chose a path of contentment. Can't really say I blame them. They're still going nearly 30 years later and playing big tours. And, by all accounts, they seem very h

Yes, he was relatively well known in the US in the 70’s-80’s. His show was on TV late on the weekends. I loved it and would stay up to watch it. It would, of course, be banned today.

No disrespect to those affected by the tragedy but the song had nothing to do with what happened. They could also make the album available without the song if that is the reason.

While I get the sentiment of the lyrics, they don't sound very inspired/creative/deep to me. Just repeating headlines, trying to prove how socially conscious he is. Pure virtue signaling without putting in any real effort.

Gotta say no on this one. There are some good songs here but they produced the life out of them at a time when the music world was going a different direction. I’ve always said that Steve’s death had an immeasurable effect on that album. To me, the band went absolutely overboard not to make a dark, heavy album that might have been the natural way to go. The positive spirit that got them t

I listened to both today as I worked in the yard. I hadn’t listened to BOG in many years but it’s an album I knew better than SITT. It was a very enjoyable listen. Good album. I enjoyed SITT better today as I worked. More feeling, more depth, more soul.
