I'm not familiar with the band but, based on one quick listen, I agree on all accounts.

Yes, I think it was overly harsh. It isn't a masterpiece and it isn't a consistent effort but it is WAY better than a 30, or whatever the f-*^# Andrew gave it.

I once saw Kix play a show for about 50 people who showed up to their Show Business tour, but they played like they were playing for 5,000. I came away so impressed that they would put so much showmanship into the show for such a small crowd. One of my favorite concerts ever.

"GW hit the trifecta for me with Once Bitten, Twice Shy, and Hooked. Three great albums in a row.... I liked some of Psycho City" I mostly agree with the above, except that I love Psycho City and it is my favorite. Best combination of heavy & blues in their catalog.

Great song, but one lyric always really bothered me. "To wash the sins from off our hands" That doesn't even make sense. Wash the sins off our hands makes sense. If he needed another syllable, he should've tried harder.

It's an okay song. The lyrics sound forced and contrived but I'm guessing she wrote it in a hurry to take advantage of the moment.

Same here. Huge DL fan but I've seen them so many times and the setlist doesn't excite me anymore. The X tour when they started with side 1 of High n Dry was a breath of fresh air, but I don't expect anything like that this time around. Same with Poison. I saw them a few times in a short time frame several years back and it was the same songs, including their cover of "Rock and Roll Al

I dug this one out recently and have been enjoying it quite a bit. Very solid release. Full of hooks! "When Love Finds a Fool" is a particularly classy ballad.

If I recall correctly, Jon Oliva played most of the instruments as he was dealing with the loss of his brother. Then they brought Skolnick in to play lead. Maybe I'm remembering that wrong but that's the reality in my head so I'm sticking with it. :) In any case, it is a very good album. As stated, the counterpoint vocals in Chance take that song to a new level. Pulling it off live, which I

I know the first song wasn't met with much excitement here. The new one is much better, imho. It has a funky groove to it. I really like it. I could do without the spoken word/rap portion, quite honestly, but I do like the song. I'm now more hopeful for the rest of the album. http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/new-song-premiere-jack-russell-great-whites-she-moves-me/

Love the song. Don't get the video at all. The faces morphing from one to the other is the only thing that makes sense. The rest of it doesn't fit the song at all.
