I don't care for it. Some songs are best left as they are. That is one of them.

I wonder if this affects his involvement with TSO.

I liked Show Business. I haven't heard the new one, other than samples.

Todd Griffin sang for The Graveyard Train, if I'm remembering correctly. The unreleased (I think) album that he did with Mark Kendall under the name of Train Station is also very good. I have a copy of it, but honestly can't recall how I acquired it.

It is interesting that he is generally known as a comic who was "also an actor". Before anyone ever heard of him, he was a classically trained actor and received a full scholarship to the renowned Juilliard School. After leaving there, he started doing stand-up and the rest, as they say, is history.

Point taken, but where do the "people with the money" to market/promote get their money? Ultimately, from the consumer.

I might have the money, but I don't really have the time. At my age (44) and my current circumstances, I am very selective about the music I purchase due to the lack of time to spend listening. I bought tons more music 20-25 years ago than I do now. Disposable income, yes. Disposable time, not so much.

Really dig the title track and bought it, but sampled some others and didn't find much else that interested me.

Agreed on all counts. I'm also partial to In The Tradition and Hey Mister. And Saint Lorraine and Loveless Age.

First of all, it is really hard to believe it has been 15 years. But my son was born the year it was released and he is 15 so there's the proof. Anyway, I was listening to it on my way to work this morning and what a classy release it was. It has held up very well over the years, in my opinion. I don't know if it is GW's best album beginning to end, but it is very very solid. I remember

Such a funny man. I'm only familiar with his work on The Young Ones (which I loved as a youth) and the movie Drop Dead Fred. I, too, should get out my Young Ones DVD's and then explore some of his other work as mentioned in this thread.

I honestly didn't realize they had "un-retired". That's why I never take these "Farewell Tours" seriously.

Funny you mention Dream Theater and drunk people. I saw them for the first time back in 2010 when they played a headlining theater date in the middle of their tour with Iron Maiden. It was a theater on the college campus that I attended so it was really cool to see them there, but I digress. Back to the topic, I have never seen people drink less at a concert than I did that night. It was ge

Very nice. I downloaded it immediately after listening to the sample. I wish it would finish with the big harmonized chorus. It kind of builds at the end but then goes out with a whimper. Great song though and sure to get a lot of plays to these ears.

Nikki Sixx has typically been at least as interested in generating shock value than quality songs. Having said that, Motley certainly has produced its share of quality over the years. But at some point it became more about the shock value than the music. The accompanying videos to the Generation Swine tour and other antics over the years made Motley less and less about the music. In my opinio

Terry, you said it much more concisely and effectively than I did....everything to everyone. Yep, that's what has driven the majority of their songwriting for too many years.

After Steve Clark's death, I think the band made a deliberate decision not to make a darker, edgier album. We got "White Lightning" but the rest of the album was pretty lighthearted. I thoroughly enjoyed it at the time, but don't go back to it very often. To me, it hasn't really held up well and I wonder if they had allowed themselves to explore their pain and grief more, they would'

I've only seen them live once and it was on the Show Business tour in front of only about 50 people. But they played like they were playing to 5,000. Very entertaining band and I would love to see them again this time around.

According to RIAA, they did. I guess it could be argued that Tesla didn't sell significantly more, although they had more releases and did have one multi-platinum album. Mechanical Resonance - Platinum The Great Radio Controversy – 2X’s Platinum 5 Man – Platinum Pychotic Supper - Platinum Night Songs – 3X’s Platinum Long Cold Winter – 3X’s Platinum Heartbreak Station –
