My favourite among his solo albums is definitely Live To Worship from 2000. There's some great melodic songs on that one. There is a cool 12-track digipack version of Adrenalize. The two additional tracks were b-sides on some singles from the Adrenalize album. The songs were She's Too Tough and Miss You In A Heartbeat. The latter was featured in several different versions on Retroactive, but not as good as this one IMO. Strange that they weren't on the Deluxe release of Adrenalize.

There's some good songs on the Retrospectacle CD that MTM Music released 1996. Worth checking out!

Exactly what does John Oates do? I love their music but always wondered about that. :)

My favourites from Talking in Code would be Hold Back The Night, Brave Hearts, Crank it Up, Talking in Code and of course Perfect World. I can see not everyone liking this album but for me it's a great one. Sounds very 1986. It's probably a little more pop than rock. I guess it's not an album you would claim had an organic sound :) I like the follow up to this one too by Burtnick, not that exci

Jimmy Degrasso is on Contagious as well, which came out 1987 and Steve did actually replace Jimmy Degrasso on those tracks on Ten. I did an interview with Dave Meniketti way back in 1997 and this is what he said about that: "That was an unfortunate situation. I mean it was fortunate as in as much that we played with Steve Smith, whose a great drummer and we had a good time with that, and

I think they should get Mutt Lange because he can write songs! IMO I think Def Leppard are in desperate need of someone adding some magic to their songwriting and I can think of no one better for that job than Mutt Lange.

I have the original as well as the 2004 re-issue, but as always Rock Candy is the best of the lot with a great remaster and a informative booklet! :) The short answer to your question would be: Yes!

Generally speaking I think that the Rock Candy releases are always worth buying. :) I bought the 2 on 1 CD when it came many years ago. I think now is the time to upgrade :)

I love the Johnny Hates Jazz album too. Very good. It'll be very interesting to hear what their new album with Clark Datchler back in the fold will sound like. For fans of similar stuff maybe you should check out a release from Sweden that came in 1989 - Modesty. The Singer is Fredrik Jernberg. He would later join Rat Bat Blue and record one album with them called Squeak, released by CBS in 1990. Pretty decent album with some really cool songs, like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iVn7JdqSdU

It is usually about who owns the rights to the recordings. Maybe they're not interested in selling them in digital format online.

I have the original 1987 Australian release on Mushroom Records and also a 1988 Geffen/Mushroom version printed in Germany. I'm guessing the Geffen version printed in Germany is the same as the US-version...?

I think it's just great to see Marie back on stage after her struggle with a brain tumor some years back. It has clearly affected her, but she seems to improve as time goes by. I love some of her solo work too (all done in Swedish), especially one album she did back in 1987. One of the most amazing vocal performances throughout an entire album!

Some clips on youtube with Stefan Andersson. Catch the Moon (from the debut album Emperor's Day, 1992) This was monster smash hit in Sweden back in 1992. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Am0Y9isbJPE It's Over Now (also from Emperor's Day) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BInjBdjCQLc&ob=av2e Fire (another track from Emperor's Day) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7IPEbaf6hA Walk Rig

The Beat Of The Live Drum was actaully recorded prior the release of Tao. The Tao songs on the DVD were promo/concept videos and not concert recordings. Yes, many overdubs, but for viewing pleasure the mosy enjoyable DVD from Rick Springfield. So far.

I have all those 3 dvd's and I think "Beat of the Live drum" is just far superior those other two titles. For different reasons. "Alive and Kicking" was recorded prior his "Human Touch"-album (or Living in Oz as it's actually titled) and therefore missing a lot of pivotal Springfield songs. At least in my opinion. "Live in Rockford" has a lot of great son

I heard that he cancelled last years comeback at Sweden Rock Festival due to recovery after some surgery. If that is true maybe it could have a part in why he looked a little off?? If anyone doesn't know for a fact he would have a drug related problem I don't think it's fair to Aldo Nova, or anyone for that matter, having someone claiming that on internet.
