Kansas - Think the band do Fight Fire with fire from John E's era. Danger danger - Think at Firefest when the band were "messing about" at the end of the set they started to play one of Pauls songs but Ted didn't want to know.

Don't know where he finds the time between solo stuff, his production work, PT, No Man. Blackfield (who also have a new release but he has taken a back seat on this one) and his work with Opeth frontman. Something had to give I suppose. I think he is slightly constrained by PT by the "sound" the band has, while with his solo stuff he can bring guests in and do his early 70's prog noodli

To be fair people get old. As he said in interview it's 25 years old, most people can't do the same things they did 25 years ago (unless you're Rick Springfield or Eric Martin). Live in the studio with not many effects. I saw him at High Voltage a couple of years back and he wasn't much better with the old songs then. I think that's why a lot of the newer released have been slower more modern sou

The argument for the fees from ticketmaster was it took a lot of money to develop the ticketless system with booking your own seat etc so they are trying to recoup the costs. I agree HRH was a bit eye-watering £10 ticket fee, and I'm only going as I won tickets to the prog bit and upgraded - still had to pay booking fee though - the swines!

Well annoyed as one of the acts I was going to see was JSS and the ten to one start on a Sunday is ridiculous - a lot of people will be needing to shoot off to get to work.

Whichever Papal person was hoisted to the front needs to make sure the church is brought into the 20th Century never mind the 21st. What an outdated world they live in where a bit of smoke gets everyone going into hysteria. Let's hope this pope decides condoms might actually help against AIDS, Marriage of people of the same gender is better than some of the sexual deviancy adopted my so called me

Totally agree. Even though I was really impressed by recent CD by The Magnificent, I was laughing at the lyrics. In their defence the language barrier might be a factor but it's no excuse for some of the lyrics on the new Vega Cd (even though I love it).

DVD version seems to have that "sliding" sound associated with auto-tune. Can understand why it's been done for DVD, but a shame they felt the need to not release it "warts and all" as they are pretty ancient now, and they can be forgiven for not sounding how they were 30 odd years ago.

And the HMV venues like the Ritz in Manchester will be losing their "HMV" status and returning back to as they were, "We would like to reassure all of our customers that this venue was acquired by MAMA and Company in December 2012 and is no longer a part of the HMV Group. We are in the process of removing the "HMV" name from the venue and from all of our marketing mat

To be fair HMV is an overpriced shit shop that stopped selling music to concentrate on Dr Dre headphones and Downton Abbey box sets.
