I'm on your side Andrew, I have stopped following the guy on FB. Good luck in your quest for the truth to be revealed.

Dan Reed and Electric boys were the ones I wanted to see. Seems they are on tour that's me sorted. Seen most of the other bands so no need to go.

Just had email to suggest Cutting Crew are playing Manchester Academy 3 on 1st April. Is this for real or am I gonna end up looking like a fool?

While he had Johnny Marr to rein in him a bit he was great, obviously How Soon is Now is the greatest indie riff ever. Great songwriter and quite funny in small doses.

A few years ago at Firefest and this is the only time ever its happened there was a bloke drunk quite early in the day who kept dancing but banging into me. I gave him a nudge back and he rounded on me and threatened to start a fight but his gf dragged him off.

So after the Kickstarter campaign that didn't go anywhere. Brian has now decided just to ask us for money for his new CD. Grand total of $90 raised so far... http://www.gofundme.com/8ckwmw

I hope it does well, announced nice and early so people know about the gigs and quite a few shows no Manchester but Sheffield and Liverpool. My only worry is they are pretty big venues hope they do good business.

The most pretentious show I've seen - even including Kiss in full make up! Fantastic musicians, great singers, great set very professional. Thought nathan and jeff were fantastic.

They are being marketed as being similar to MGMT and Two door cinema club (who they are supporting in the US) for the hip kids. Really liked what I heard then streamed the rest of the album and it did veer into indie pop territory, but it's not bad.

I think Rainbow would be more likely than Purple, although the Hughes/Coverdale version is always talked about. Kansas with all original members, Somewhere to Elsewhere was fantastic and Livgren back in the band shows what has been missing for the last decade. Yes - 90125 line up. You never know the revolving door policy might swing back. ELO - Jeff Lynne and Richard Tandy were a bit act
