Just saw Temple of Rock live in Holland last Friday. The show rocked, the musicians had fun on stage, setlist was diverse.. But the most pleasant surprise to me was Herman ze German's drumming. Ok, the man has some strange moves and looks like he is pushing a car down the road whilst gasping for air, but wow..has he improved or what? I never thought much of him when he played in the SCorpions bu

...it was over so soon:-) I went to the show only because my son never saw KISS before, and I had no expectations at all. Being a KISS-fan all my life and seeing the band 7 times before, I no longer had any interest in the band because I thought it was...well...over. How wrong could I be, it was in fact the best KISS show I've been to. Paul's voice is decent/good, some minor adjustments are made

Agreed, instant classic! NB: 15 years ago(!) Sykes released his last studio album...At first I was glad to see him leave the fake Lizzy, hoping he would focus on his own music. Maybe he has, but unfortunately not for the world to know.

Almost completely ignored on MR, Adrian Vandenberg just shows that you are never too old to róóóck. I've seen them live 5 times already and they deliver the goods. Too bad (so far) only video-footage of "Burning Heart'has surfaced from the prestigious Loudpark-festival. If they are playing anywhere near you, go! I have never seen a band having so much fun on stage..they simply love what t

Shook his hand once, at the Utrecht show in '83 that made the first vhs-release. Little guy, huge voice. RIP Ronnie..

Just finished watching it the other day and it is a true document. All TNT era's are included and the sound is simply amazing. Harnell steals the show as he shows he ís the one and only frontman for TNT. The highlight for me was'Northern Lights", dedicated to Dag Stokke. That song alone is worth the buy...goosebumps all over. And oh..nice to hear live backing vocals for once too :-)

Did you try the Moonkings-page itself? Seems like fair prices including the overseas shipping.

Great debut, sounds like Manic Eden II. It has that old-school 70's vibe with a touch of modern rock combined. So if you liked Manic Eden, you 're in for a treat. Got my ticket for one of the upcoming club-shows, can't wait.

strange, just checked it again and it works just fine. The wavering lines I get too, but only for a few seconds, as if it's loading. Sorry guys if it's not working for you. (proxy?)

Always wondered what else was filmed that weekend, as it was an awesome line-up. A few years ago, to me all of a sudden, the Twisted Sister video popped up. So it makes one wonder, what else is in the vault? Stampede, Blackfoot, Maiden , MSG, Gary Moore, Manowar?

Enjoyed watching it as well. And even though I'm not a big fan of Rarebell's style, he did a great job. It was also nice to see Buchholz on stage again.

As long as it plays the video, it will record it, no? I don't understand what is protected, the tape? If so, a simple piece of tape will sove that, but my guess is that's not what you mean...

My best results came from a direct vcr->dvd-recorder transfer. Check a sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2ZaCfhcRMo Like you said, no fanfare, just a transfer with random 5 min.chapters. I had a hard time trying to get a decent result using the pc and software, so I stick with the direct transfer. And of course the Tape has to be in good shape. The BJ sample came out great, because of

And agreed, why do we need to read about this is public? Solve it within the band and announce replacements if due.

I would do a speed-check first, to see if it isn't an ISP problem. Then I would suggest some good old clean up, plenty of freeware around that will do the job. And check how many programs you've got running in the background when you start up the laptop. Plenty of those (mostly activated or installed unattended) can be stopped when you adjust your settings. Good luck, hope this helps a bit?
