Enjoyed watching it as well. And even though I'm not a big fan of Rarebell's style, he did a great job. It was also nice to see Buchholz on stage again.

Glad you've managed. BTW, I was unaware of ingrained copy protection. One learns every day :-)

As long as it plays the video, it will record it, no? I don't understand what is protected, the tape? If so, a simple piece of tape will sove that, but my guess is that's not what you mean...

My best results came from a direct vcr->dvd-recorder transfer. Check a sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2ZaCfhcRMo Like you said, no fanfare, just a transfer with random 5 min.chapters. I had a hard time trying to get a decent result using the pc and software, so I stick with the direct transfer. And of course the Tape has to be in good shape. The BJ sample came out great, because of

And agreed, why do we need to read about this is public? Solve it within the band and announce replacements if due.

I would do a speed-check first, to see if it isn't an ISP problem. Then I would suggest some good old clean up, plenty of freeware around that will do the job. And check how many programs you've got running in the background when you start up the laptop. Plenty of those (mostly activated or installed unattended) can be stopped when you adjust your settings. Good luck, hope this helps a bit?

I was so looking forward to this one, but once again it's spoiled by the editing. The constant angle change every two seconds makes it almost impossible to watch, at least for me. And if that's not enough, every other 10 sec. or so, they use a split screen so you get two, or even three, four or five(!!) angles displayed at the same time. Why not make the separate angle-view optional? I remember K

...with Robin Beck! Damn.. the new album, due to be released early 2011, will be huge. It's been a very long time since I've been so excited about an album. Let alone an album from a female singer! Sexist?...Hell yeah, my wife likes me that way:-) All kidding aside, I think the team with Robin, James and Tommy delivered some great stuff. I can't help it, but this is the kind of music I can play

Saw them too supporting HOL, great (young) live band. Of course the three girls catch your eye but the musicians are damn skillful. James Christian produced the album. They also do back up vocals for James's wife, Robin Beck...

...every now and then, when I had a few beers, I get the feeling that in the late 70's / early 80's music was less complicated? Or should I say: better? I mean like, the old Lizzy, Saxon, Maiden, Leppard, etc sound sooo much better then most of todays releases. Or am I just getting old an sentimental? *drunk mode of*

I was so looking forward to this release, and finally got my hands on it today. Usually the Rockpalast releases are of outstanding quality, but not this time. The original broadcast has the 'in your face' sound with Cozy's cymbals high in the mix. On this dvd the cymbals are almost gone!. On 'Into The Arena' for example they can hardly be heard at all. I have seen the show a few 100 times I thi

...guys like me, doing 40+, have a hard time dealing all the new genres of rock/metal? I used to be open minded whenever a guitar was involved, so going with whatever was 'new'. Nowadays I'm more narrow minded...hate grunge, doom, prog or whatever it's called...I just stick to the good ol' days of melodic rock & old school metal. I've tried, believe me, I did...but somehow it didn't work out

oh...wow...what a great dvd this is, highly recommended. Well produced, and of course a blistering Jeff on stage, what a treat! One thing come to mind though...How much was post-production, vocal wise? Not to point the finger, but is this band THAT good? If it is...I have no words for it and... *takes a bow* Again, no pun intended, I love the dvd anyhow and hopefully we will see Jeff & co i

I went to see them last Friday in Weert, Holland, I think about 100 people in the audience. Great show, they played a full set, around 90 min. Support act Kane'd was like a breath of fresh air, very promising band. A 'funny' little accident happened on stage during HOL: The bass-player (who said himself he was 'loaded') was twisting and jumping around and stuff. All of a sudden he made a quick
