More than just a pity...it pisses me off that they have the attitude (for many years now ) about their 80's material. If not for the 80's material no one would be talking about them at all in 2014 much less that last decade. They should wake up every day and thank God they have the 80's material. It saved them.

Any idea (Andrew) or anyone else when we may get to hear some song samples from the forthcoming CD? Actually looking forward to this...I miss Jeff Watson though not being in the band. ~

Just my opinion of course. And yes I know its all subjective and the music is what matters.yadda yadda....but music videos could vastly improve and I think enhance the song greatly if the band members were NOT in them. Take the latest Heat video..pretty good song..but he looks completely odd to me..yes I said to (me)..that it takes away from the song. I think videos from many artists would j

First off, i love the band and I'm happy they signed with Frontiers. But rerecorded material is just lame to me. Why not...release songs (or) record material that never made the actual release from that time period? Would be interested to hear tracks that never made 'To Hell' , 'In God', and 'ATL Why do bands never think of doing something different? Tired of the retreaded ground. And p

Anyone know if there are any samples from the forthcoming CD available? Besides the small one we've heard a month ago...really anticipating this release!

You don't care for the network. You probably dislike Conservative Republicans. Isn't that the real issue here Kenny? Everything has to be political....just get to the honest part of your angst already.

Sad to say but isn't Danger Danger actually done with? Thought I read on FB or perhaps here about Bruno saying there wasn't any money into making new music so he was done. In the back of my mind I've wished for some time now that a Paul Laine/Marcello collaboration would be amazing.

11. yes...
They are a good band. I don't care for them as much as others in this thread seem to. The new CD from them is okay. I bought it and the new Shinedown the same day so perhaps that is why I'm thinking the way I do. I should put it on again so it can try and stand on its own. ~ But yes, buy them both. Good band, but nothing great. ~

Anyone else bummed that we will have to continue to wait for the next CD from them? Very disappointed that Frank V. is investing his time with other projects.

I agree to a point. His 2 sidekicks should not be on that show @ all. They can change my car oil but their musical opinion or attempt at humor is beyond annoying. I am pleased the show is on but with anything, people (myself included) will critique it. And enough with 'Stump The Trunk'.....

'She Dropped Me The Bomb' is my personal fave song from them. Underrated track. ~ Always have liked the band. Just start from the beginning and give them a go. Enjoy!

So I eagerly purchased the new 'My Darkest Days' CD yesterday and I've put it on in full 3x....just really disappointed in it. The songs are just lacking big time for me. I think the Title track is the best thing on it. Started off promising then it just loses me. I have to admit I didn't care for the 'Casual Sex' single to begin with but thought like the debut there would be some hidden gems

I really like the band still. 'Kings Of Metal' is their epic moment to me though. Some really solid songs on there. ~ The early material ie 'Battle & Hail' I can honestly pass over. I don't dislike them, they are just sort of there. ~ I remember debating my friend back in the day as he used to tell me they realllly are like that. They believe in the whole 'false metal' shtick. I was li

17. really?
The last Bangalore Choir and these samples aren't remotely close to anything that was on the debut. 'On Target' was such a solid heavily laced melodic slice of rock and everything since just sounds like a David Reece solo CD with songs that lack anything memorable. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the material just not my thing as I think they all sound like fillers.

With so many people liking most of their material I guess I'll start with the debut and work my way through. Thank you for all the advice!

Last year I bought the CD from the band W.E.T and love it. To me it's easily the best thing I've ever heard JSS do. I was never really into his material except for the Kuni CD which I believe JSS doesn't even care for..regardless. I'm wanting to check out the band Talisman but was wondering people's opinion on where to start. I guess I'm looking for the most commercial sounding one as that

My apologies go out to you Rocknut for being a prick the other day and calling you out not to post. That post was uncalled for and when someone is acting like a prick like I was I should own up to it and I do. I've been a part of this board for 14yrs or so now, don't post alot but I would never want someone pointing thier finger at me and telling me not to do something. And its true, I don't

I personally wish Vinny & Gary would get together again with HUGO and make a true follow up to his debut. Still one of my fave discs. Pure magic and it would be a dream to me if those 3 could do something again together.

Thanks for the link Kidego..definately sounds better than what they have put out of late IMO ~ Wish they'd do another all out melodic CD ala "poetic Justice' but too much time has passed I know..well, Im' guessing it will never happen. ~ Will buy this CD though..sounds a little promising. Thanks again!

28yrs......and this is THE single they come out with to shock and awe the world again with? Cmon guys. I know we want to love it..Hell...I want to love it..but Dave's vocals are horrific and the video is bad as well. Still of course I will blindly buy this CD the day it comes out hoping...hoping....and...hoping.

Can this guy please put Casanova back together full time and do another CD? Even Demon Drive. I don't hate Mad Max or anything they are (in my opinion) his weakest product. I'm a HUGE Casanova fan and just wish he'd do that! Okay...had to get that off my chest..all better now. Have a Great Christmas everyone!

So...yes i'm guessing here (obviously) Ed, has emotional and chemical issues. I think the should just release the CD and not Tour at all. Just put out new material. They wouldn't be coming close to my area anyways so perhaps i'm jaded on that...but just release material and be a studio band.
