Sco-Mule is equally as good. Shame their last couple of albums have been a tad weak, they need to return to the early days sound for this longtime fan. Warren Haynes is the best guitarist to walk this earth. Chris

Been waiting patiently for their return to the UK since 2006. That Manchester show was superb!! I'm sure they put the album up, or at least new tracks, on their Facebook page on Christmas Day for 24 hours to listen to. Sadly, I forgot to check it out on the day itself. Chris

Been a Trucks fan for 20 or so years. Love his playing, very distinctive and original. his work with Warren Haynes in the Allman Brothers Band is just phenomenal. His albums are all very good but the two he has made with his wife Susan Tedeschi in the Tedeschi Trucks Band are quite simply...superb. Nice bloke too...:) Chris

Loved them in Manchester, one of the best live sounds i've heard in nearly 35 years of gigging. I get what you're saying regarding Jay's lack of interaction but personally, I don't mind that. Nice to see a band who have been hyped to hell actually fulfilling the expectation. Been a good week for gigs here too, The Cadillac Three, Marillion and Rival Sons...merry christmas indeed...:) Chri

Evening All, Off to see The Cadillac Three this Sunday to The Deaf Institute, manchester. I'm after a bit of help please. Whereabouts is it? I know it's off Oxford Road but not sure where? Is it far from the Academy? Despite years of gigging in Manchester and countless gigs at the Academys, I have no idea where this venue is? Any help given would be much appreciated. Cheers, Chris

Needs to get Kenny Aronoff back on drums to give the band that groove again but this is never going to happen. Not keen on anything inits entirity after Whenever We Wanted but I did see him last time he was over and he was pretty damn good. OK, nowhere near as good as when he toured the above mentioned album but still good. Chris

J have a spare ticket for Bryan Adams at Manchester Phones4U Arena, this Sunday coming (23rd). Seat is in Block D (on the floor) Row A. Seems a shame to waste it, so if anyone is interested, please drop me a line. Cheers, Chris

Much better than an album crammed with 60+ minutes of music and half of that is crap, as is the case with many an album released today. Hopefully, this will be all killer no filler. Chris

I'd heard this was a hoax too. Then again, 2015 will see Donington celebrating 35 years since the first ever one back in 1980. Maybe they are planning something a bit special for it? Somehow, I think this is wishful thinking on my part. Chris

Considering she's now supposedly gone country, last night's gig was seriously rock & roll. Amazing what you can do with top musicians around you. True, a fine setlist indeed. Chris

Went to see Sheryl Crow at The Ritz last night...what a superb rock & roll show, as good as any i've seen in a long time. I've always liked her music but wouldn't class myself a big fan and when I last saw her several years ago, she was pretty boring to say the least. But...now' she's surrounded herself with top musicians. Along with lonntime sidekick/guitarist, Peter Stroud, she now has

Over here in North Wales it has been piss poor for rock shows for years other than the big obvious ones and internet radio. I've been trying to rectify that for the past couple of years, hosting a show called "The Rock Surgery" on a little station based on Anglesey called Mon FM. It goes out every Friday night at 8PM ovetr the net and on 102.5FM, if you are in the area. We play abs

Great album. Reminds me of their Russian Roulette era. Very melodic and great to see Wolf Hoffmann throwing in a classical piece in his solo once again, this time it's the fabulous Morning Mood by Grieg. Top album, top band...UK tour now please? Cheers, Chris
