Excellent news. Been listening to both a lot again recently and seeing I only have Cries & Whispers on vinyl (did it make CD?) i'm looking forward to this one. Really like this fella's voice be it The Distance, Bad Co. Jones Gang or solo...top news. Chris

Been living with this the past week and thoroughly enjoying it. Certainly wear their Sabbath influence firmly on their sleeve, as always and to these ears, track 3 "Siulent One" sounds like Sabbath playing Slayer's "South Of Heaven", well the intro anyway. Very good piece of doom/stoner/Sabbath rock...like it. Chris

FM have been added to the lineup for this year's Steelhouse Festival in South Wales. Not sure which day but I assume it'll be the Saturday? This is turning into a cracking lineup. A weekend in the valleys it is then. Good stuff, Chris

Nice lineup US rockers Alter Bridge will return to the UK in October with Shinedown and Halestorm! It’ll be the first time the guys have played these shores in almost two years. “Thrilled to be returning to the UK with Shinedown and Halestorm later this year!,” says frontman and BFF of Slash, Myles Kennedy. “I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the part of the world that embra

I hope they're not going to drag this out for several more seasons? A few episodes were seriously dull in this one and to be honest I didn't think much of the ending. But, saying that, I will be eagerly awaiting Season 4. Chris

Howdoo folks, I'm putting together a Playlist of tracks that feature the words Rock & Roll in the title for my radio show. I have several of the obvious ones and some less so but I was wondering if you have the time and the desire, if you'd like to suggest a few for me? As always, your help and suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks, Chris

As i've mentioned before, these "Original Album" sets aren't remastered at all. Having heard most of these, including non-rock ones, at work over the past few years the only bonus with these is that you do get them for a rather good price. Chris

Has anyone on here caught this lot live over the past week? What a superb live band. Love the albums and been waiting for UK shows for years and boy did they NOT disappoint. Apparently back soon for a headline tour...do yourselves a favour and go check them out. Is there a finer vocalist/frontwoman in the business? Cracking stuff, Chris

hello folks, Despite being to NYC a few times I can't remember discovering any decent 2nd hand record/CD shops except for a tiny jampacked one in Greenwich Village. A mate of mine is heading there next week and is on the hunt for some decent ones...any info/suggestions? Many thanks, Chris

I was just about to say, be careful with these boxes as some have been dreadful. The Dokken one springs to mind...purely sound quality issues. I don't think they are remastered and i've heard most of these boxes as I used to work in a record shop. Just a heads up Chris

Love them, always have done...always will. I used to work in an indie record shop for years and despite all my colleagues and myself having totally different tastes in music, The Carpenters were one we all agree on. The other was Free. Chris
