Mule are always good live, Warren's playing is exceptional live. Moe. might not be the best on record but are also very good live. The Hold Steady is a band I really should check out live and now with Steve Selvidge on board on guitar, it's a must...great player. Chris

Been a fan of his stuff for a good while now, nice bloke too. Has been under Jude Cole's wing since the beginning which is no bad thing. Cheers for sharing this...this fella needs to be heard. Chris

I know for a fact that RDC aren't cheap, so it's not really the venues' fault but the band is pricing itself out of good turnouts at the specific venues. Shame you're not in North Wales as I gave away a pair of tickets to the Buckley Tivoli gig on my show last Friday. Chris

Seems most Ritz gigs have an early start time now. Blackberry Smoke is 6.30 and Sheryl Crow is 6PM, both having a curfew of 10PM. Chris

Fragile/Close To The Edge/Going For The One on this tour. I liked Davison with Glass Hammer, so hoping he'll do the business with YES too? Chris

Yes, FM on 7PM. Europe 7.55 - 8.55 and Foreigner 9.25 - 10.55, so definitely more than 9 songs. The 9 song setlist you saw as probably all the songs that whoever posted it, could remember they played. Stage times i've provided are what the venue has been given. Hope that helps too? Chris

I thought Mojo was excellent. Campbell got to show his chops a bit more on this one than he had done for a while. I pretty much like all of his stuff, always have done and any new Petty & The Heartbreakers music is just fine by me. Anyone heard the Benmont Tench solo album? Chris

Fish was excellent too. Top man. Rumours are flying around that they are already planning for bigger and even better next year. Seems they have taken note that Firefest will (sadly) be no more after this year. Chris

New album is very good. I still think Miss Momsen sounds like a cross between Sheryl Crow and Suzi DeMarchi...which is no bad thing right? Chris

Anyone else heard this peach of an album yet? I liked their previous two albums but this has raised the bar onciderably. Southern rock mixed with country and feel good roots rock. If you're into Blackberry Smoke and The Cadillac Three and not familiar with these boys, then go seek this out. No UK release as yet but rumoured to be on Spinefarm's wishlist. Excellent stuff http://you

Well, he actually is, the other is someone else's that we're trying to get rid of together, if that makes sense. I'm hearing now that The Cadillac Three have been added to the lineup tomorrow? makes sense I guess as they have no gig until Monday and were in Chester last night. Here's hoping? Cheers, Chris

Hi gang, A mate of mine has just emailed me to say he's just been offered two tix to Blackberry Smoke's gig at the Islington Academy next Monday but can't go. If I wasn't going to Manchester and Wolves i'd have probably taken them myself but funds won't stretch that far. If anyone is interested, please pM me tonight so I can let him know and he can email you direct with details of payment
