Blackmore has ALWAYS worked with good vocalists who can actually sing, so that will rule out Coverdale these days, luckily!

Impressive video, nice to see that at least some "veteran" groups can still sound damn good live these days and are not just flogging a dead horse and getting the crowd to sing most of the vocals!!!

Well, I don't think he will be able to find anyone who is WORSE than that!!!....What a shambles the whole Whitesnake thing is these days, hasn't Coverdale got ANY self respect left these days?!!! Will be great to have Richie back playing rock again though and I think Doogie or Jorn would both be good shouts for the lead vocalist spot :)

That is arguably the worst live performance from any so called "professional" singer I have EVER heard!!..It's almost like it was a "spoof" or mickey take!!....HORRENDOUS!!

As a long time fan of Symphony X (right from the start) I think this is horrible and really hope its NOT an indication of the rest of the album.

Spot on Mick, was a totally immature and pathetic comment for Coverdale to make, just because people dared be critical! Really sad news for Campbell, I really hope he can beat it again and this time for good.

Mick, you have my sympathies for what you and your family are going through and for what its worth I fully agree. Its disgusting to use any analogy to cancer, even if it isn't meant in a disrespectful way by the one who is saying it and I don't think that those who are excusing Coverdale's use of that terminology really have thought it through fully.

Awwww, poor little David!! did someone hit near the marks with their criticisms?!! You ARE a legend but are destroying that dragging out your totally shot voice on tour still and making childish comments like this against anyone who dares to be critical.

Greatly overhyped band i.m.o. Leaving aside the "fan boy" lust for the singer that so many seem to have (uhmm, I thought it was about the "music"?!), I just can't see what the appeal of their modern/poppy sound is, but each to their own.

I do agree with you on that, Epica are amazingly good live and getting bigger and better with each release. I also agree about Delain's debut being their best release and they haven't lived up to that since but whilst they aren't as good as Epica I still think they are great, especially live once again.

I love the growls in Epica, they complement the music and Simone's vocals perfectly i.m.o. Delain are great too mind you.

I agree with you absolutely Joe. Its "good" but not that good. I made the mistake of listening to this and then 'Century Child' back to back!!....no comparison in my mind (and its nothing to do with the vocalists either because I rate Floor even higher than Tarja).

Time to "hang it up" DLR before you go down that sad route that Coverdale is doing, although at least in the first place old Dave C WAS a very good singer!!

£800 for 2 V.I.P tickets is utterly ridiculous for ANY group but I guess whilst people continue to pay for them (wish I had a job like some must have to be able to afford that!), they will continue to grow both in frequency AND price!!

I didn't even know that Claus had left!!.....I think that from the last time I heard Reece sing live (Firefest 2010) where he was struggling with the high notes in BC's set (he WAS carried by the audience on the choruses!) he will struggle with some of the vocals "live" :( I will give it a listen on Deezer or something but I think my days of actually buying their stuff are gone, espec

Very VERY carefully chosen songs there I notice, nearly all of which should not test the "strangled cat" vocals of Coverdale these days, too much!. To be fair, some great songs there but it really does seem to suggest that not only has DC lost his voice these days, he's probably also lost any new inspiration and ideas. For goodness sake David, just hang it up NOW, whilst you still hav
