I do agree with you on that, Epica are amazingly good live and getting bigger and better with each release. I also agree about Delain's debut being their best release and they haven't lived up to that since but whilst they aren't as good as Epica I still think they are great, especially live once again.

I love the growls in Epica, they complement the music and Simone's vocals perfectly i.m.o. Delain are great too mind you.

I agree with you absolutely Joe. Its "good" but not that good. I made the mistake of listening to this and then 'Century Child' back to back!!....no comparison in my mind (and its nothing to do with the vocalists either because I rate Floor even higher than Tarja).

Time to "hang it up" DLR before you go down that sad route that Coverdale is doing, although at least in the first place old Dave C WAS a very good singer!!

£800 for 2 V.I.P tickets is utterly ridiculous for ANY group but I guess whilst people continue to pay for them (wish I had a job like some must have to be able to afford that!), they will continue to grow both in frequency AND price!!

Great band, so glad I caught them at Firefest before they called it a day.

Song wasn't bad, but as others have said, it doesn't sound anything like the Bonfire we all know. Enjoyed the video though too!! :)

I didn't even know that Claus had left!!.....I think that from the last time I heard Reece sing live (Firefest 2010) where he was struggling with the high notes in BC's set (he WAS carried by the audience on the choruses!) he will struggle with some of the vocals "live" :( I will give it a listen on Deezer or something but I think my days of actually buying their stuff are gone, espec

Very VERY carefully chosen songs there I notice, nearly all of which should not test the "strangled cat" vocals of Coverdale these days, too much!. To be fair, some great songs there but it really does seem to suggest that not only has DC lost his voice these days, he's probably also lost any new inspiration and ideas. For goodness sake David, just hang it up NOW, whilst you still hav

The man is pure genius, virtually everything he has released has been absolutely top class. I know that some are put off by the lyrics sometimes but can't really understand why as he's not exactly forcing anyone to get down on their knees and prey, just ignore them if for some reason they grind on you too much and enjoy the wondrous music, melodies and musicianship. I was lucky enough to see him

Oh well.....I guess you are right, I doubt she can no longer hit those high notes anymore anyway :( Still at the grand old age of 33 that's only to be expected as classically trained soprano singers never normally keep their range when they get THAT old! Shame also that Troy has been made a full time member of the band now yet we're only going to hear his celtic/folk instruments on the TWO new s

No, once again you are still not getting what I was saying!!!...no-one is EXPECTING a full blown return to the "old "Nightwish sound (even though a lot of people would like that and it wouldn't be a regression!) BUT a lot were hoping for a "mix" of the "old" and "new" Nightwish sounds as finally the band has a singer who can easily do both. But with this si

No, I don't think it will all be celtic/folk pap like this song and I DO expect it will have a few good songs on it. What I was saying (and please read again what I said) is that from MOST of the online reviews I have read, the general consensus is that Floors talent and range has not been anywhere near utilised and that most of the vocals are of the "safe" mid range level. I also said

Pleasant but BORING song for Nightwish. Far too much celtic/folk rock influence (AGAIN!!) in the song, where is the guitar? keys? atmosphere? heaviness?...all missing. Its very well sung by Floor (which is no surprise) but its not utilising a fraction of her abilities and range and the very limited Anette would have been able to sing it just as effectively and well, such is the "safeness&quo

Don't see what the fuss and hype about them is either, mainly its a "Classic Rock" backed campaign though to push them forward all the time, no-one else is really going "mad" over them. Caught a bit of their set at High Voltage a few years ago and like others have said, they are "OK" but nothing special at all.

Totally understand and agree with Bob's anger and disgust over this. However, despite no doubt being an "icon" of rock music, pantomime clown Osbourne and his despicable wife are not worth, potentially, Daisley making himself look bitter over, so its best to move on and let those two try to live with their greedy consciences. Those that really matter, i.e. the knowledgeable fans, not t

Agree with that Hollywood, I'd much rather have a live CD than a live DVD. I tend to watch a live DVD, maybe 2 or 3 times maximum but listen to a live CD via car or more often phone or ipod many many times.
