At Firefest/HRH you bump into loads of the bands had banter with a lot of them, most are great and hyped up. Saw Quiet Riot at HRH and spoke to Frankie Banali who was happy to chat and happy to be there, Jizzy, on the other hand came across as very stand-offish which was a shame as I love Love/Hate, it could have been the journey to get there though as I've met him before and he's been fine.

Amazingly on day 2, got sunburnt, despite being under clouds and not that hot.

Got back from my first ever Download, a bit too metal for me but caught Santa Cruz and Inglorious who I both thought put on some cracking shows, as did Lawnmower Deth who had Kim Wilde! Would loved to have seen some HEAT there! Did enjoy Disturbed, even if they did play 4 cover versions! A little chap was even getting into them https://youtu.be/H4Cua_pu0CY

Just waiting for the final lineup before I commit, for me only the Defiants and Trixter are the pull, I've seen the others that I'm interested in already. Also sent an email to your press a/c, but no response.....

There was just a cardboard sleeve version of the boxset that was a bit cheaper, still hard to track down.

My nephew is off as he's a Wed's supporter, I had dreams of Coventry reaching the play-offs for the first time this season, but they were dashed by our bad end of season form.

I've kept track of them since Matt Black joined (Serpentine live singer) and bought their 2 CDs, really like the 2nd one not yet listened to the first, think the track "Take This City Alive" is fantastic. Not caught them live yet, let us know how it goes.

Not full sets but watched a bit of Winger last night, will drop in and out watching today, but hopefully catch Trixter tomorrow, also looks like they are able to keep the videos they've already shown on their Facebook page!

Completely off topic but does anyone know the apps/software that sites like The Lad Bible and Joe.co.uk use to create videos like this? https://www.facebook.com/SPORTbible/videos/1941825309296325/

All down to taste, Rockingham does nothing for me with this line, I've no idea who Kevin Chalfant is or Art Nation or Into the Fire for that matter. HRH AO4 on paper was not that appealing and I almost never went but I had a blast, worth if for the Radio Sun alone. As Bruce says, will be interesting to see if Slaughter can make it, but I hope they can!

I used to love the Hummingbird, thought it was a cracking venue, seen WASP and Ratt there, went twice to see Love/Hate who cancelled both times... Depressing journey back to Cov afterwards...

I agree with Woody's comments on paper, nowhere near as exciting as the previous year which had Eclipse, White Widdow, HEAT, Vega and Night Ranger who blew me away, I had contemplated not going but thought what the hell and was so impressed with Dan Reed, Kane'd and surprised myself with Gilby Clarke as I HATE GNR. That said I've booked up already for next year!
