Superb talent... reinvented his playing style from using a plectrum to picking with his fingers... amazing to make the transition at the height of his prowess. Who recorded and mixed the record? Obviously not Kevin Shirley...

Guys from Blackberry Smoke, Allman Brothers, Zac Brown Band, Marshall Tucker, etc It's a crazy southern rock and banjo thingee - it's still in the process of being finished but it's killer. here's a couple of clips to check out to get the vibe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbFaSbPftKg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsqB6nua3Vs

Colin Hay is a true artiste. His solo stuff is consistently brilliant. You will love his show. I went to one of his early shows in LA years ago - i was absolutely not interested in being there, never a fan of MAW - i went because i had to be there for business reasons... I went from complete disinterest to being completely mesmerized in three songs.

... such simple stuff that Richie needs to leave in the middle of a touring leg? ... or it's simple like - Richie just needs to do exactly what Jon says and he can return... .... or just simple personal things... Like i've personally had enough of being treated poorly... and I've personally had enough of JB being a prat... and I've personally had enough of essentially being one of JB's empl

classic stuff - from his facebook page an hour ago- I've withdrawn from mixing the Queensryche project... Scheduling issues became a conflict, I'm in the middle of many projects both Studio productions and live stuff.... ("Prog Collective 2", "Steve Miller Tribute", "WIlliam Shatner Solo record", starting a "Doors tribute" soon, playing live in a few d

Wow! Has anybody else seen the movie or played the recording? How uninspired and completely going through the motions do they sound- and look? Amazing they were able to capture the current Bon Jovi live approach so accurately!! Snooze-arama

All of them... except Glen - although Rudy is a good guy... I think Glen realized that playing with a bunch of sub-standard players attempting to play somewhat difficult and progressive material (classic QR stuff) wasn't what he wanted to spend his spring and summer doing

Got my copy today... On first and second listens I like more of the songs on this than I do on either of the first two... meaning I'm pushing the skip button less frequently! Kevin Shirley still can't mix. Bonamassa is pretty absent from it all other than playing guitar - one vocal duet (I think it's his only vocal) and very minimal songwriting contributions. Clearly, he's pretty much ch

Billy Crain is a mofo on guitar! Should really be recognized as one of the masters. His older brother Tommy Crain was a mainstay in the Charlie Daniels Band as their lead guitarist, but I've always preferred Billy - going back to when I first heard him the Henry Paul Band back in the late 70's. I quite prefer his first album Skeletons In The Closet... but neither album really displays his

Not to hijack the thread, but the kindest words I can say about Blotzer's drumming is that he is 'clumsy' The more technical description is that he a 'hack' Just shows you how much Tate has lost the plot to think that Blotzer can handle any of the QR material credibly
