Anyone catch Roxette on their current tour ? I was very shocked and saddened to see the obviously frail conditon of Marie - anyone know what has happened. I know that she had a severe illness back in 2002 but was led to believe that she had recovered fom that. I have a DVD of them on their comeback tour of 2011/12 and she appeared fine in that. Something has definitely changed in the int

I bought one some years ago from these guys in the Netherlands. http://www.cd-rek.nl/uk/index.html Slightly expensive - but it is a strong & robust unit made from galvanised steel which won't warp etc. Not sure they have one which could cope with 1200CDs though. I live in N. Ireland - delivery was via UPS as far as I remember. I had to pay an extra premium for delivery - it would

I will be in London in a few weeks time. I already know about the MVE shops in Notting Hill, Berwick St and Greenwich and also Flashback in Islington. Any others - worth considering ? Now that HMV in Oxford St has shut - what are my HMV choices ? What about vinyl shops ?

Going to London in a few weeks time. Any recommendations for used CD shops:- I know already of the MVE stores in Berwick St, Notting Hill & Greenwich and also Flashback in Islington. What about shops selling new stuff - any HMV's left there ? Also is Fopp in Covent Garden worth considering ? Any others - my interests are mainly rock (wide rang) - and some pop. Thanks.

Can anyone who owns this set, confirm which of the albums are in gatefold sleeves ? Also, do the inners have lyrics etc. I need to know from someone who actually owns the set and can absolutely vouch for the content - the description on some of the online websites is too vague. Thank you.

I have now tried MP3 and bingo - it works ! A bit disappointed that WMA would not work as I have upgraded the speakers to the Dynaudio set up - will try WMA again but not holding out much hope. I suspect MP3 is a little too compressed to derive max benefit from the Dynaudio but at least I have got it to work. Thanks again, Daredevil.

I recently took delivery of a new VW CC (used to be called a Passat CC) and am very keen to use the SD facility for music playback on its stereo (RNS 315). I have great plans to put all my box sets (and digipacks) on this rather than carrying these around in the car all the time. I am using a Fuji SDHC 32GB card and as a trial put one album on this ripped to WMA lossless - and although the

Did Sunday in Glasgow and both Hammersmiths - magic, magic nights- have followed the Quo since 1980 and this was my first chance to see the Frantic Four and I loved every second. The second coming indeed!

As you can tell from my name, I am a long time fan. Never thought I would get to see the Frantic Four (and I have followed then since 1982). Was at the Sunday show in Glasgow - amazing stuff with some great tracks to be heard inc. O Baby, April Spring etc... Still yearn for a full 23 min version of 4500x - but came away very satisfied. Quoo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooohhh !!!

Went to see the UK tribute band 'Stated Quo' on Sat. night in London. JC drummed with them for about 1 hour at the start - they did some Quo numbers and some interesting covers (Led Zep, Shadows, Beatles CCR etc.) JC remains a damned good drummer !!

Yes indeed - I was always impressed that they (AC/DC) were not available on iTunes. What happened to the 'we don't want users downloading individual tracks' line? Also I struggle to think who would want to buy AC/DC stuff on iTunes - surely everyone who wanted it would have the CDs by now (bar perhaps the new 'Live at River Plate album')

These are the ones I target as well. Particularly MVE in Notting Hill - they have by far the biggest selection. Sadly the number of 2nd hand shops in London has dwindled in the last few years - I make a long weekend trip once a year specifically to buy used music in London. My first was in 1992 (I think) - then I had a least 15 shops to choose from (that was only central London also)

In a few weeks I will be on vacation in the US - on a road trip from NEw Orleans to New jersey. On the way we will pass very close to MComb, Mississippi - which is where the Skynyrd plane went down in 1977. Does anyone know if the actual site is marked in any way - is it easy to find ? I read that it was in a swamp area - so may be inaccessible. Any info welcome.

I once needed to replace an odd case for an Abba CD and DVD set. I could not find it anywhere online but ended up buying a cheap Feeder CD/DVD set and swapping them over - simples! If I were you I'd keep a look out on E-bay for someone selling a cheap Dual disc! - something like this perhaps ??? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pink-Im-not-dead-Dual-disc-CD-DVD-/260998905415?pt=UK_CDsDVDs_CDs_CDs

To further clarify - I was charged 3.21 for VAT - this is applied to the cost of the goods only - (i.e excluding postage) as far as I am aware. The Import duty and Excise duty were both zero. I have already complained strongly but will do so again. Thanks for the feedback so far !
