Haven't posted for ages. I saw these guys in stairways Birkenhead years ago and every time they toured since.Including the academy gig last week. This new album is, IMHO, their best effort yet. Songs like crave and story or my life are way up there with some of the best ever aor songs and Steve's voice is better than ever. I once heard they turned down a boy bands request for their songs?? Have seen Nickelback a few times before and also last time when they toured with Daughtry. Daughtry were a 100 times better than last time i saw them - just wished they'd do an academy type tour on their own as they only play, a very very good, 40 minutes as support - the MEN was packed for them-the most i've seen since Black Stone Cherry supporting AB! The most maligned band in rock didn't loo

I'm afraid that, whilst it wasn't ever good to watch the after match interviews, Kenny was completely hung out to dry by both the owners and Ian Ayre over the Suarez/Evra affair and you could visibly see it affected his health. I reckon it also had a major influence on their decision after the standard chartered AGM was asked to explain why they were still sponsoring us after the racism charges.

65!! I can't imagine he'd have still been strutting his stuff even if he'd been able. He knew there was a limit to how long he could keep on doing it with any form of authenticity. He was the best ever front man (IMHO) and will never be equalled. No one could touch the combination of stage presence with vocal range (witness how many people can't sing his songs in the same key) that he offered.

Just listening to the first From the Inside CD. Cracking Upbeat CD with a couple of covers i didn't know were covers intitally! Danny was in great form vocally. It might have become somewhat formulaic these days for Frontiers but the first FTI cd was just great - a 90+% from Andrew as i recall?? Would be great to see DV back in this kind of form it any line up (Tyketto/Vaughn etc.etc.)

Spot on! he had a tendency on previous stuff to be a bit 'broadway'/Dennis De young esque... this is amazing though.... I wonder if he and the musicians ever actually met????

I agree! I've only ever been blown away by one other album that stands out for the vocal performance on its own and that was Mark Free's Long way from home. Praise indeed........

It's an epic cd. it's a real grower! There are things you don't here on the 2nd or 3rd or 4th listen but then pick up later...Breathe again sounds like a different song to the one i first listened to!! i wasn't alududing to superior tracks earlier-only the ones that had grabbed my attention in the first place..... Today, at this moment, its 'Life must go on' WHAT A TRACK!?

SBJ!!! What an album this is!? 'ghost' is a monster as is 'wonderful life' as are 'breathe again' and 'wonderful life'.....stand out tracks on my album of the year so far,,,,,then again there's 'breath again',,,,,the list goes on - it's a bit of a grower for some of the heavier tracks but there are always killer solos to nail each track.... This is almost faultless...

I've held back even listening to this after Andrews review, cos it was 100% and i didn't want to judge it too quickly, and I've never commented before on a review....BUT FUCK ME....this is just everything i ever was attracted to this scene for in the first place... There are a few albums that really lit my fire in the early days of AOR .....; Dare - debut+1 The storm - Anything,,"come in ou

awesome! very few people could pull "the show must go on' off. even sang it in the correct key! His performance of Run to the hills is equally fantastic. ' Imagine someone attempting to do either of these songs on 'crap factor' on british prime time television - not a chance.. american idol and swedish idol leave us way behind when it comes to talent

Just listening to some of their stuff from ages ago.....a certain Mr Ashton got me into these years ago but i only got the Powerhouse album at the time. If you can override the christian theme the music is amazing! I also had no idea that the Huff brothers were in the original line up - quality band...
