Great reports from the shows. Just hope they make it over to the UK again. One of my all-time favourite bands

Tony was always going to sing this well. Still not sure he fits in to the band as a whole though.

Very pleased wuth this one. Part 'Once', part 'Century Child'. Not sure about the last track. A bit too clever for its own good. But onenof their best, overall.

Saw them in Manchester a few weeks ago. While I was watching I was thinking that there's something lacking and that something is...songs! Sure they have some great catchy songs and Lizzy oozes rock n'roll. A Joan Jett fir the new generation. Her brothernis a showman and the two 'kens' on guitar and bass are perfectly capable. But there was lots of filler and lots of talking. I stood there thin

I actually loved this Zwan album. A little more like Jason Bielers output outside Saigon Kick. But really, the only Smashing Pumpkins albun to go for is 'Mellon Collie...'

In Lukathers own words at one of the gigs I saw he spoke about the variety of singers the band has had and commented "we thought, what the f##k were we thinking, we'll just do it ourselves". From the KOD tour.

Great that the band have become.more prolific again. Shame they spoilt a great sleeve by tacky addition of the scantlily clad female pirate. Cliched and tacky.

Waiting for my copy to arrive. Only heard 'Elan' far and a bit worried that some have claimed it to be one of the best songs! Surely not?? As for Annette Vs Tarja/Floor. Annete was the weakest ainger Nigtwish have had without a doubt. Obvious by rhe fact that she wasn't up to completing tours with the band. She was dreadful when I saw her with them.

A dissapointment so far. Much talk of the creativitynin the songwriting. But not hearing anything to rival Isolation, Seventh one or even Mindfields, Tambu and KOD. Good, but not living up to the hype.

Given the people playing on this album, if it DIDN'T sound amazing there would be something seriously wrong. No, of course it should be a strong set of recordings. The problem is A)How on earth Coverdale could contemplate doing this WITHOUT the other surviving members of Deep Purple who recorded these songs being at least asked to guest on it. B)Coverdale's voice is well and truly shot. It csn

I disagree. If you want to hear one singer hit all the right notes on the night, you need only watch The Answer.

My argument is, how on earth could Coverdale have contemplated doing this WITHOUT including Glenn Hughes guesting? With all due respect to the incredible band members, that is just unforgivable.

Priest DEFINED heavy metal and still do. Defenders of the Faith is justifiably up there. My personal favourite is' Killing Machine' but 'The Hellion' intro itself is the most metal 30 seconds ever!
