Sounds really good.Ironically similar to Anubis Gate, who were obvously highly influenced by Queensryche.

Very good but it's pretty much Scando business as usual isn't it? Highly polished, well played but ultimately another CD that will be on the shelf gathering dust in 2 years time. Haven't we all got a shitload of albums like that? Not going to trouble 'Appetite...', 'Highway to Hell' or 'Boston' in the bonafide classic rock 100% stakes is it? I may be wrong but in two years time if Degreed are

My response Andrew would be how many 20% scores do you give out? Because there are PLENTY of melodic rock albums released over the last few years that deserve little more than that. The 100% scale allows too many albums to score well over 50% when they are in fact, at best, average. The majority of albums reviewed here are 3/5 at best.

Sounds good but I also dislike reviewing out of 100%. Scores out of 5 is much easier to interpret. 5 out of 5 I can handle but nothing is 100%.

Can't believe no ones mentioned DEF LEPPARD's 'Slang'. One of their best, for me.

Penny Dreadful is awesome. Eva Green is perfectly cast in that. 2nd season of True Detective has started out well. Heard good things about Banshee. Will give that a go.

I'm with 'Shade' on this. His performsnce on the Rhapsody album Symphony of Enchanted Lands 2 is what elevated him from just being a movie actor.

Daredevil...Glenn was hired by DP for his bass playing. His vocals were a bonus. And there's a reason DC didn't have him singing on the new album too. He doesn't want to made to sound ridiculous...again.

DOUG ALDRICH as his guitar player! LMAO! You couldn't make it up! Only one tour to go to to hear those old Deep Purple songs sang properly then.

My copy of 'Indestructible' arrived today. First listen...pretty good. 100mph and Die to Tell standing out initially but overall sounds like a little more depth and range to the songs this time, albeit in James typical songwriting style. You guys have got me thinking about Precious Metal again now. I didn't think it was so bad, but will go back and compare it again now. World Upside Down remai

I have two particular favourite 'summer' albums. THE STORM.- 'Eye of the Storm' and SURVIVOR -'Too Hot To Sleep'. Don't ask me why, but these two just epitomise summer music for me.
