Kevin Shirley is like a 5th member to this band. Not at all surprised he is producing again.

Huge comic book and particularly Batman fan. Saw the movie last night and it is undoubtebly the best Batman/Bruce Wayne we have seenon the big screen yet. Affleck may have been an unpopular choice with fans initially but he absolutely nails it. The most violent Dark Knight so far too, which is whatnthe fans have been wanting as well. Affleck's Batman is pitched somewhere between Keaton and Bale.

"Up himself" and "soulless". Two descriptions of Nathan that couldn't be further from the truth.

Incredible voice. Ask Jeff Scott Soto. As for 'Superstar', there was no better person auditioning. I guess it would have shut the competition down early on to give him thejob.

Oddly enough, been playing BCC2 a lot recently. Top album. One of the best records Glenn has been part of.

It's less of an election, more like a mental health assessment of America being seen by the rest of the world. And at the moment...it's not looking good. (Stolen from Facebook)

'Scars' is a great record. Great feel to it, if a little one paced. Jerry is a star!

The potential for this band is phenomenal. It has been meticulously put together, with nothing left to chance. I was also at Wigan and as great as the bands own songs are, the highlight was the amazingly good cover of Toto's 'Girl Goodbye'. And I have a feeling a certain Mr. Lukather will have had his attention drawn to that. Nathan is the best rock singer this country has produced since Glenn

For me, they are two different bands with Ozzy and Dio. Sabotage is absolute classic. Easily as good as Dio era, if not better. What amazes me to this day is the meteoric shift in songwriting style and quality from 'Never Say Die' to 'Heaven and Hell'. Iommi wasn't writing in that style AT ALL on 'NSD'. Dio's influence changed Iommi's style completely.

You'd think wouldn't you Terry? But the very early criricism suggests otherwise.

White label copy of Marillion's 'Fugazi', with cover fully signed. ANGEL -'Radio Broadcast'. A promo LP for the 'Live Without A Net' album, embossed with band signatures and including the Angel intro, omitted from the album. Tons of signed very early IQ stuff. Signed copies of artwork samples from Judas Priest 'Screaming For Vengeance'.

Didn't understand the criticism at first anyway but agree that it's biggest flaw is people having time to give the album enough listening time with busy modern lives.

That's a very brave move that will either work or go horribly wrong. Csn't fault the quailty of the guys voice tho.

The question is, when are Shinedown going to be the bride, and not the bridesmaid? Played second to Alter Bridge and Black Stone Cherry now, and each time, I could have gone home after Shinedown. They ARE stadium rock. But would prefer them as a 5 piece again.

Having recently watched the history of.. progranme again, I can't see it. I think Don might feel that would be a betrayal to Frey's memory. It's a shame because, despite whst happened between the two of them, Felder was visibly upset at not being in the band anymore. I could see maybe 1 tribute concert but even then it would be very hard for the guys to play without Glenn onstage with them.

Much as I like the odd Journey song/album, I was bored watching them live and they wouldn't get anywhere near the top of any 'Greatest American Band' list I voted in.
