Excellent disc from Kamchatka, I'd say it'e their best yet. With Per Wiberg (Spiritual Beggars/Opeth) on bass & Hammond organ giving them a fuller sound this is 70's hard rock of the highest order. Been really into the retro sound these days, and of course Sweden is the hotbed for quality. Here are a few more recent discs that are musts if you like that organic, hard driving sound with to

It's really good. I still think Hex is the best album, but I just started listening to this new one and this type of music takes a little time to fully appreciate. B

The BLOOD OF THE SUN album I think you were recommending is called "Death Ride", not Hell Ride. Nice to have heard Derek St. Holmes is such good form, wasn't it? B

The song is excellent. You need to have pledged to the campaign to hear the track. One of my favorite straight rock bands out there. Very happy to see the project was a success. Can't wait for the full disc. Brian

Hey guys, I'm really hoping someone has this Japanese bonus track, titled "These Words". In my opinion it's one of the best tracks on the disc. My external hard drive seems to have died and I lost EVERYTHING. At least until I can get the drive repaired. This is one of the few gems I wanted to have while I'm waiting for the drive to be fixed. If anybody has it, it's this crew.

Shaun was recording a new Bronz album with original singer Max Bacon. I really hope that project will still see the light of day. Anybody know anything about that? B

This is what you're looking for, I am sure. The band was Power Supply, the song was "Bad Habit". Video used to be on Youtube but it's nowhere I can find now. If ANYONE can find this I would love to find it once more so I could download it. It was a good old song and I am pissed I never did keep a copy for myself. B

One of best, most varied disc I have heard yet this year was totally a blind purchase but turns out to be a brilliant piece of work. The album has a progressive edge, but at it's heart is melodic as hell from start to finish. After looking into it I found out Oliver Wakeman is involved, along with superb vocalist Phil Naro (Check out his band Druckfarben). Have a listen to the track "

The fact that you would refuse to buy ANY album because of the artwork is about as ridiculous a statement I've ever heard and it tells me you surely weren't going to in the first place. Are you flipping serious? If any album had music on it worth buying, probably nothing else would deter me from laying my money down and the cover art wouldn't remotely figure into my decision unless it were a b

I'm checking it out now. Never had much interest in them as they always seem to be loaded with generic Nu-Metal save a track or two but always hoping bands find their stride after like 5 albums like the old classic groups like Styx, Kansas, Journey, etc. Not many bands get that opportunity anymore. Shame... B

Re: the "Add Folder" function, just select the base file that includes everything (Music/My Music, etc.) and it will add everything, except for duplicates. Not so time consuming as doing it singly. B

This makes no sense. I just tried it again, using my US amazon account and her is the response... We are sorry... We could not process your order. I bought it from the FM site I just wanted the songs immediately. The disc will arrive soon but I am an impatient sort when it comes to my favorites. And to backwhereyoubelong, you say you ordered the disc from the US thru amazon.co.uk with no problem, then how did you get around the address box, which only accepts UK postal codes. When you enter a US zip code, it is flagged for being foreign

Hello, I am trying to buy FM Rockville II from amazon.co.uk and they will not allow a US resident to buy even though the product isn't released here (USA) so I was hoping someone could let me "borrow" their UK address and I could buy my own prepaid VISA card to make the purchase. Please anyone who could help me, send a reply or for your privacy, send a PM and I can get my FM fix.

Can't really explain it, but I rather enjoyed the Uli tracks during the Scorps early days. "Drifting Sun", "Dark Lady", "Sun In My Hand", "Hell Cat" and "Polar Nights". I think those are all of them, and I enjoy 'em all, Hell Cat being my least favorite, Drifting Sun & Polar Nights are classic, IMO. For the era these albums were made in, the

Very upset to hear this news. Yet another band that I thought had a promising future together are unable to make it solely on talent. Hopefully the guys find success elsewhere in the business, as they are great songwriters. B

Bo-ring... I really thought the Von Arb/Von Rohr/Kohler reunion was gonna cook, but not to be... Only thing they've done recently was the Hellraiser disc. Since that, these past 2 discs are all mid-tempo middle-aged blues rock. With zero hooks. Zzzzzzzzzz.... B

I have a pair of Monster Turbine Copper Pro Advanced In-Ear headphones that are about the best thing I have ever used. And the best thing I like is the fact they are not bass heavy at all which I agree is a killer for hard rock music. Surely the best investment I ever made for listening to music. I go nowhere without them now.

I wish 'em all the best. It's very tough out there for any band and you like to see guys with this kind of dedication and talent succeed. Bummer to see the other band members throw in the towel but that is the harsh reality in today's music industry. The amount of time required for most bands to put into the building of a successful entity is too overwhelming considering most have to provide not

No, it's not you or your disc and I have no idea why. If it is intentional, maybe they felt it added to the retro/organic sound the band produce. Their best album so far, IMO. BB
