Every five minutes this guy posts something somewhere that amounts to nothing but a deluded hack. I am entitled to my opinion and my opinion is that firstly he is not the rock star he thinks he is. He is also a talentless fool that was propped up by his fellow band mates. This included having to put up with a grating personality and a huge amount of manual tuning in the studio. Whilst he plays

the problem is, the standard has changed dramatically now.... because producers have this facility, they use it..simples..............it's almost become the 'standard' and also is used as an additional 'effect' in production just being honest..........it's the way of the world... and if you listen to all these past generation singers, you will find that if you want to pick holes in their pitch

as someone stated before, lots of backing vocals and samples and keys are used by many bands..Kelly Hanson wouldn't be lip synching with a voice like that

your probably the same type of person who critisises bands who don't sound exactly like the album.ccm a show is a show..........many bands announce they use backings because they want it to sound as big and bold as the albums to avoid disappointment this subject is a yawner!!

If that song was released by a new band with that video, it would be laughed at ...so because it's Asia it means it's great? Nah

I don't think it's particularly bad. It's straight and basic and how a performance video would be presented I doubt frontiers would have had anything to do with the video at all . This would have come from their initial budget .

Yeah, I have used them since the year dot, for many reasons One of them was to keep tempo more akin to the album versions instead of playing like a midget on speed... I am now 6'3 and don't take drugs .....anymore....apart from the odd ibuprofen As far as billy joel goes, maybe he didn't want the songs to be faster or slower than the originals! Lol When I played with a certain vocalist who

That's a very nieve and silly answeR. No drummer at any time has relied on sound bouncing back off any wall There have been monitors or wedges, whatever you call them, since PA systems were used. But I do agree that headphones are used and were used solely for monitoring purposes

could be as simple as in ear monitoring or it could be a click track to bring any number of enhancements . keyboards are usually the main one. other times, bands use it to add a vocal or vocals to the live vocals .....its pretty standard ....fans like to hear stuff as close to the record mostly the bigger headphones years ago was simply because they hadnt designed small in ears back then ar
