Personally I don't want to hear any country tinges. I know it's popular but it's not what I want to hear from RS.

Just confirms it's a very average song by Rick and nowhere near his best. Having said that, I look forward to the album and am hoping it will be a good one overall.

I only have the cd's with Mike DiMeo and they are all great. Looking forward to the new one and it's a surprise as I'd given up hope of hearing anything from them again. The albums I have were all cd issues but you may have to search a bit to find them. Mike DiMeo has a fantastic voice and is far better than Garner, who is a lot gruffer. I think he used to be in early 70's band Sir Lord Balti

I like it, very catchy, I suspect the album will be full of songs like this that are pretty instant and don't have a lot of staying power. Will still get it though.

Chameleon were great, the 1st album suffered production wise but the second one Technocolor was brilliant. As you say they went down a different path afterwards and Yanni and Charlie Adams have continued to work together for a long time. Charlie is a great drummer and used to do moving drum riser stunts before Tommy Lee.

Agree with you Terry, the new song didn't sound like anything other than standard RS album filler. Obviously, the sound was crap but you can tell if it's a decent tune and that was nothing special. The version of Affair of the Heart that follows shows how good his songs can be. Still I'm glad to hear he's got a new cd in the works and look forward to hearing it.

All your Music is a major internet retailer so they have probably had stock delivered in readiness for the release day. They have probably marked this one as used due to it's condition, may be damage to the case or something so the won't sell it as new.

There were a number of albums after How Dare You? The later ones were more straight forward pop rock than the quirky 70's ones but worth a listen. Deceptive Bends 1977 Bloody Tourists 1978 Look Hear? 1980 10 Out of 10 1981 Windows in the Jungle 1983 Meanwhile. 1992 Mirror Mirror 1995

One of my best friends at school was nicknamed Lol but his proper name was Laurence, so maybe Lol Mason is Laurence?

His real name is Stephen Broughton Lunt and he now goes under the name of Steve Lunt not Steve Broughton as he did in City Boy.

Do i detect a hint of sarcasm? To clarify what I meant was, access to illegal downloading and even legit streaming services have had a major impact on the music industry and the labels can't work the way they used to back in the day.

Sorry Andrew, I'd already checked the front page and the article wasn't there at the time. I didn't recheck before I posted the Blabbermouth link.

They don't play 365 shows a year. I know it's easier for them to rehash the old stuff but with today's technology they can make a great sounding album for a fraction of what budgets were before the internet screwed the record labels.

Same old set list and unplugged. Surely, they could come up with some new songs? http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/foreigner-announces-hits-unplugged-and-live-charity-album-for-2016/

Paul Carrack is a totally different singer than DDY. How could you even contemplate such a thing?

I have all of these but wouldn't put them in that order and some definitely wouldn't be in the list even though they are good albums.
