I love Sammy Hagar, have since I first hear Montrose in the 70's and I've bought all his stuff. However, I have no desire to listen to this. I don't understand this fixation that some artists and bands have about doing acoustic versions of their songs. If the original songs were electric, keep them that way.

Talented guy with a great voice but far too much lightweight stuff on the album.

I wouldn't say the trend was digital. Pretty much every release still gets issued on cd. Long may that be the case. The Unruly Child is being done as a download at the moment but will be issued on cd when the second (side 2) half is ready.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zr7C-WTJOhk never heard of them but they are great. Check out the link for a version of Purple's Child in Time. The singer has some pipes on him.

Send the seller a request for combined shipping, they can probably sort something if they want to offer a discount.

There are plans to release a cd when the second half has been released. The seven songs available for download are labelled as side one and add up to over 30 mins of new music. Side two is to follow and the cd will likely be released next year.

Brilliant songs, awesome vocals. A lot lighter than expected, lots of acoustic guitars. Unfortunately Jay Schellen isn't involved and the drums are provided by Guy and Bruce according to the credits so that just means computer programmed but they are pretty well done and the production is great.

Brilliant album. I love Casey's voice and think it gives them something different. Peaceful Harbor is a great track but for me it's the weakest on the album. Having said that it's all great and there's no filler at all.

THe Seventh One isn't one of their rockier albums, apart from Stay Away and Home of the brave it's very hi tech AOR and has that 80's production style all over it. Good album but don't expect it to rock.

I think queuing for concert tickets is totally different. Physical items like phones will likely still be one sale for some time after the first day in the shops. Who gives a shit if someone has the Iphone 6 on day 1 ?

Hi Geir, we all get names mixed up at times :-) You are right about Land of the Gun having the extra tracks. Wish they would do something but I'm not holding out much hope.

Hi Geir It was Mike Prince who did the remastering on the Legs Diamond albums. They put them all out through their website. Land Of The Gun even had a different cover.

Legs Diamond recorded one of the greatest power ballads of all time. It's called "Woman" and you can find it on "A Diamond Is A Hard Rock". Rick Sanford delivers an amazing vocal performance on this song.

Out on Bail was originally released as a 6 track mini lp in the US. The band signed to Music For Nations in the UK and 2 extra tracks were added, Doomsday Flight and Seems Like a Dream. These were from a different session and featured Dusty Watson on drums who had replaced Jeff Poole after the original 6 track record. There was a further issue later on that added Radio, One Last Kiss and Hey Tex

Not for me, I like it but prefer their early albums with Premonition being the best. As for best AOR album of all time, I couldn't begin to think as there are a number of classic albums. Vital Signs wouldn't come close though.
