I am suing Gowan because I got real dizzy watching him spin. I figure a million would set things straight.

Steve Perry led Journey, although I enjoy most of the first three and last 3 of 4 (Most of Generations is way sub par) CDs, There is only 2-3 songs I do not enjoy from the Perry years and many many songs I never get sick of with my favorite, the epic Mother,Father

the Cars will eventually get in because they were critic darlings. (even though they sounded very popish and eventually went to synth driven AOR)

You know Journey getting inducted is the first sign of the Apocalypse! : ) I truly hope Steve shows and sings! If he really has been in the studio now for 1 1/2 years he surely can sing as good if not better than his gigs with the Eels. (Just don't do open arms) Arnel cant even sing it as good as Perry in 80's. Great to see Yes and ELO, always thought that they were "cool" roc

http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/reo-speedwagon/2016/first-direct-arena-leeds-england-6bfb3a0a.html wow, only play 10 songs, So can't be much longer than 45 minutes, unless they play each song at 6 minutes or more. (which is sad). Does status quo open? Must e a bigger band in the UK.

The most "melodic" Priest album IMO. Out in the cold is a masterpiece!

growing up in the eighties, and I believe it was Monday night I was glued to the radio listening to rockline. My most rememberable episodes were Steve Perry in 1984 and Journey in 1986. Thanks Bob Coburn and Rest in PEace!

If When the Children Cry even a power ballad? Song is okay but Tramp over does the sappy vocals. Wait is an awesome however. With Cain/Schon/Waite why did they need/want a Diane Warren song? Although Heart does a good version of her Who will you run too. Most other songs on this list are okay if not good.

My Favorites 1 Vital Signs - A very Journey like AOR album, every tune is great 2 Premonition - Runway lights a deep cut standout 3 Caught in the game - While the title song was ok at best (way too much of the chorus) the rest of the album was great. 4 Eye of the Tiger - Sadly the rest of the album was never heard, many great deep cuts. 5 Survivor - So gritty, many great songs. 6 T

I see they are doing a song called "Dream to Far" on the tour. Is this the same as the Jimi Jamison song from Empires? I know a couple songs from the CD were Survivor songs, like the reworked Empires, but was Dream to Far another?

TBF, while being more (much more) rocking than ROR needed I can see it in your eyes and drop a ballad or two, When I think of You and Dont be down on me baby come to mind. Still the ballads Still She Cries, Easy to fall, When you love a woman, Its just the rain and the acoustic TBF are awesome. the mid tempo Forever in Blue is pure fun.

For Journey Somehwere I read only the "classic" lineup along with Rolie will be inducted? Any truth to that? My guess is Rolie wont show or perform, for some reason he wants nothing to do w/ Journey. Now if Perry shows and performs...

Saw him live only once in the mid 90's. Did way too many ballads, especially the Disney ones. But the pure highlight was him doing Funeral for a Friend. Now my favorite.

Journeys Back Talk comes pretty close, but I love Smittys drumming. Of course Journey has another terrible song, Homemade love, but Im Crying tops that. The rest of Departure is great! My pick is Inside Information, Where Foreigner actually trys to go Techno. UGH. This albums rocks! pure 80s AOR, but II ruins the whole CD for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mifJATDVjj8

Its a Motherf*cker should have been recorded. He did an awesome job with it, along with Cooke's only sixteen. Amazed he chose Journeys very hard to sing Open Arms and LTS. Hope that promised CD sees light of day.
