First: It's a very good album!

I agree that the album is a little too long and that 12 songs would probably have been enough.

BUT, if they had used the other songs as bonus tracks or for an EP many fans would have complained about paying again...

So I think it's just fair to put all material on the CD. Just skip what you don't like! ;-)
